Schnitzly is a really awesome modern-take on a classic Jewish favorite. I came here a few months ago and was really satisfied - they have a lot of cool variations on schnitzel that all sounded pretty awesome, and even better, Kosher! However the pricing was a little bit unreasonable in my opinion, and although my then-boyfriend insisted on paying for me, I wasn't comfortable getting one of the entrees because I really didn't want to make him spend that much money. So I got a side of plain schnitzel and noshed on some coleslaw and that was enough to fill me up, but it would be nice if the prices were a little lower. The other thing I remember wasn't great was the service, insofar as it was pretty slow. But the atmosphere there is pretty great and very hyped up, there's a good energy there and the employees are all very friendly. All in all a pretty great place and I would go back. read more

Well, nice lace, very nice xashier very helpful, but, we ordered 5 foods and one of the foods that was ordered by my son' 11 year old sacurated with a sayce that he could not eat. He ordered the 3 sliders, we asked themt o replace it but they said NO, if you do not like it buy another one. That is a horrible service. read more

Schnitzly saved my life. 11/10 Would recommend. Got into a serious altercation with a number of menacing looking Hasidim, was left defenseless and powerless - that is - until I remembered I had my schnitzly sandwich in my back left pocket. I quickly retrieved it and used it to cast a patronus, which gave me just enough time to slip by the Hasidim unnoticed. The best part about it was that since schnitzly sandwiches aren't one-time-use, and are in fact reusable, I carefully returned the sandwich to my pocket, safeguarding it for use in future altercations. I understand that my story is unique and that it isn't easy to internalize, but the message is clear and its impact reaches the depths of the soul. read more

I never had a high opinion of this place because the service is terrible, and it looks like it should have a fast casual format but it doesn't. Today was extra bad because while walking to the restaurant, I'm greeted by a woman outside the front door smoking telling me sorry but give her a few minutes while she smokes and chats with some guy before taking my order. We came with our whole family including teens, a newly married daughter and her husband and a grandmother, We all loved the food and the service. The cashier/owner was helpful and kind. The food was fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and prepared quickly. My gluten free daughter enjoyed her falafel plate, saying it was particularly delicious and fresh. I find that if you're looking for one of the best kosher sandwiches in LA, then this is the place to go. With a huge variety of different sandwiches and baguettes, I would recommend this place to anyone with a craving for great sandwiches at a great value. The only major flaw here (which is actually the reason I don't come here very often), is the service. The staff seems to do their minimum requirements for taking an order. Never a hello, never a smile. If you're lucky, you may receive some eye contact when the staff isn't browsing the web on their phone or chatting away with their friends. They will call your name like a prison guard doing roll call, sometimes won't even turn around to say thank you or goodbye. To end on a positive note, this place is usually open later than any other kosher restaurant on the west coast. All in all, 5 stars for convenience, 5 stars for the food, and 1.5 stars for the service. read more

They have a very simple menu of chicken schnitzel, steak, pastramia and I thng a tofu schnitzel. You have your choice of white or whole wheat baguette or wraps for your sandwich. Everything was very fresh, the schnitzel was piping hot, fresh bread and veggies. Great selection of dressings for your sandwich. Make sure that you have them put enough sauce, because the schnitzel itself is not so well seasoned. The sandwiches are huge and one may be enough for two people to share. read more

Favorite place in the neighborhood! Reminds me of my favorite schnitzel restaurant that was next to my apartment in Arad, Israel.

Me and my husband go there a lot and love love the buffalo schnitzel on top of a big bowl of salad. Huge portion and extremely tasty and delicious. They try to make your food anyway you ask for. They close late on week ends so my kids go there often with their friends. Friendly environment for little kids. I recommend here to all friends and family. read more
