We wanted a brick walkway laid between driveway and garage side door of our home, so we called Schoenbrunn Landscaping thinking they did professional work (mistake #1). They asked for a deposit of 1/2 the estimate to do the job (mistake #2), and a week later sent out a crew of workers that did an absolutely unacceptable job. First of all, the bricks were the incorrect color, and where they needed to be cut in order to fit, they had very visible saw-toothed edges, that made the walkway look absolutely terrible. We told the company owner that the job was unacceptable and that it needed to be re-done. The company owner's response was, and I quote: "we shouldn't really worry if their job wasn't acceptable to us, since we were in the process of selling the house anyway." We allowed him to correct the problem and his staff re-lay the correct bricks (mistake #3). When finished, the second attempt was even worse than the first try (see pictures). 1. Entire walkway was uneven with house 2. Walkway was warped in different sections 3. Walkway drastically slopped away from driveway 4. Bricks are sinking causing unevenness throughout 5. Hardly any sand between bricks 6. Obvious large post-tumble chips in bricks that should have been turned 7. Displaced dirt was unevenly spread around walkway with large stones visible 8. After reseeding, straw was placed so thick (in some cases 3 inches deep) that it did not allow germination of new grass and was killing grass already present that did not need covering. 9. The workers truck left a large oil stain on our cement driveway. When my wife asked them about it, they responded, and I quote: "soap will take it out". 10. The workers left empty water bottles and cigarette butts scattered throughout property. After informing the company owner of all these issues, and that we were very upset with the unprofessional work of his staff, he responded, and I quote: "can I send my staff back to fix problem and get paid?" We informed him firmly that we did not want his staff back on our property to do the work, that he could take back his bricks, and that we wanted our deposit back. We never heard back from him. I am reluctantly posting this, so that anyone else considering this company (Schoenbrunn Landscaping) for a job, is warned of their unprofessional work, staff and owner. I gave one star otherwise I could not post, otherwise they deserve NO stars! Hire them at your own risk! read more

A nice little garden center with a great selection of shrubs and flowers. Helpful employees on the phone and in person, these are plant people, not folks that might be in the garden center one day and in the plumbing section the next like you might find elsewhere. read more

Let me start by saying that the front office people like Sean and Tim are very good. The problem is the execution of their workers doing what they promise or say they are going to do. They had to install my yard three times because in my view seed was bad and workers didn't know what they were doing. Cmon folks this is a yard not some extravagant item. They also installed several plants that died which makes me believe their quality of material is subpar and meant to save them money. I really don't think the owner cares about his customers it seems like he is more interested in the $$ than the reputation of his co. I have spent a lot of money with them but I'm just a number. I am so frustrated by them that I have found another landscaper that cares and executes on what he says. Save yourself the hassle and find another company. read more

My Finance hired this Company to clean up our yard the week before our engagement party. He specifically told them pull the weeds and leave the flowers. To Randy- the guy who did the consultation this meant pull up every plant(flower or not) that I didn't specifically say keep. Our yard looks completely naked. They pulled all of my flowers out of the flower beds along with the weeds. I worked all summer to grow that garden, and when I called to complain Randy- who professes to be the owner laughed that I was upset that my yard looked so empty the week of our party. He offered to dig my plants out of the trash and replant them(now that he's killed them) We are considering cancelling our engagement party as a result of this mess! We've been planning this party for over 6 months. If you need anything done, don't call these guys. They can't tell the difference between a weed and a flower. They will destroy your garden, and laugh when you're upset about it. read more

This company tried to treat our lawn with no contract; never had permission. Then, they sent us an invoice! After repeated calls, no response. WORST COMPANY EVER with no ethics. read more
