Went to this place after a co-worker suggested I do and man was he right. This place is awesome. When you enter you'll notice that it's very open. The smell of fresh pizza and cooking fills the air. The menu is written in academic studies and lingo so it may be a little confusing at first. So far I have gotten the Sociology Tortellini, (Sociology is a tomato sauce with grilled onions, small broccoli florets and roasted garlic) Geology Orecchiette (Geology is a marinara with mozzarella) and the English Pappardelle and I added Prosciutto (English is a cream garlic white wine sauce with broccoli and chicken) for the pastas. For sandwiches I have gotten the Parma and the Buffalo Blues. And for Pizza I've had the pizza by the slice, Pepperoni Pizza and the Prom King. So first off the pasta. It's always made fresh. Ingredients are very full in flavor. My suggestion would be either the Sociology or the English for delicious full bodied sauces. While the Geology is lighter yet well flavored too. The Sandwiches all come on Focaccia or a sub roll. The Parma was sooooo delicious. Their prosciutto is so soft and perfect. The parma is a simple old school Italian sandwich. I used to eat this a lot growing up cause of my grandma who is Italian would always make this. And they nail it perfectly. The buffalo bleu sandwich is very very good too. The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy. The best buffalo sandwich ive ever had. The Pizza is a whole different story. I don't do pizza a lot. But i know what good pizza is. This pizza is one of my top 3 places. Its thin. The cheeses are balanced perfectly and delicious also not greasy as most places. Weird maybe it's cause they use real cheese. The pizza (most of the time) has a cracker like underside which is what you want in a thinner pizza. Their toppings are really good too. The meatball is tasty as fuck. But I really like the roni pizza. I will try the one with prosciutto and truffle oil. last time I asked for it and they were out of oil and porchini mushrooms. I didn't mind because that means their ingredients are fresh. Well all in all you cant go wrong with this place. Sandwiches and Pizza are the best around. The pasta is cooked al dente and is the best around. I cant say any more good things about this spot. The people are awesome too. Very friendly and sociable. I spoke with the owner and told him and all he said was oh sorry. He didn't offer to make up for it or refund me or offer any sort of solution. Thank you Yelp for leading me to this place! This was our (mine and hub's) SECOND Quincy pizza experience. While we enjoyed Unchained, this is by far the best best best best best. The crust is amazing, the cheese is amazing (though it looks more curdled than stringy, but that's ok!) ...the sauce was yummy. They put a generous amount of pepperoni. My baby in the baking was also very pleased. They even sell Jones Sodas!!!! I haven't had a Jones Soda since college many many years ago. I think this place is so cute, too. I love that kids can show their Straight A report card and get a free cheese pizza (12 inch). I think it's cute that pizzas are named with different school themes. Rather high end dishes that you'd expect to see on a four or five star restaurant. Must tries: Macaroni and Cheese with pulled Pork; simply heavenly and perfect. The sauce is just right. Just ordered delivery from Schoolhouse pizza and all I kept thinking while eating it was "Why, why did it take me so long to get delivery from this place and what a good idea on the coldest night ever!" Called for a pick up order on Friday night. I ordered a small cheese pizza with pineapple and an order of rosemary and sea salt dough knots. They estimated a 30 minute wait time. I went down to pick up my dindin and on the ticket order line was about 30 open orders. In other words, they were running around/working their asses off. I counted only about 4 people on staff making pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and manning the front - kind of chaotic, but everything was super organized. Pretty amazing. The pizza was perfect. Big fat doughy crust, the perfect amount of sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese. 12" pizza was $8 ($1-$2 extra for toppings). The rosemary & sea salt dough knots were seriously delicious. Immediate rosemary flavor came through followed by the savory sea salt. I could eat a million of these things. I got the small order which is 6 knots for $3, sweet! My total came to $13. The inside was clean. I love the kitchsy school themed menu items. The staff is just great. I left some cash in the tip jar on my way out. Decided to go with the Valedictorian, garlic dough knots, and the special with 2 slices of pizza and a can of soda. -Valedictorian ($8): Grilled chicken, pesto, roasted red peppers, sopressata, five cheese blend on focaccia. Very good portion. Great combination of flavors. I wish they gave more of the sopressata though because it kind of got lost amongst all the other ingredients. -Garlic Dough Knots ($5.50): Very tasty, better than I expected. The dough was chewy and had a nice texture. Came with a garlic infused oil, which made for an awesome dipping sauce. Only complaint is that they gave a bit too much oil, which created a pool at the bottom of the container. -Special ($4.99): Came with 2 big slices of cheese pizza. It was good, but not the best I've had. Also comes with a can of soda. Good deal for the price. Overall I enjoyed the food here. Ingredients were very fresh. They have an extensive menu of pizza, sandwiches/subs, apps, and salads. A lot of unique pizzas and subs that I've never seen anywhere else. Probably some of the best pizza and sandwiches you can find in Quincy. My office usually orders delivery and they are quick on service as well. I highly recommend their focaccia bread sandwiches. I usually get the Valedictorian with grilled chicken, pesto, roasted red peppers, and salami. It's easily the best one they have. It can be a little messy, and sometimes a little greasy, but it is so good those slight things can be ignored. They have a variety of options to choose from so you can go pretty wild here. Chicken wings tasted like they were baked, not fried. I prefer my wings to be fried but they were pretty good regardless. Fries were good too. I don't recommend getting the salad since its probably way cheaper to make it on your own but if you don't have ingredients at home, I suppose you have no choice. This used to be our favorite pizza place but I am not sure we can go back. We paid a lot of money and had to throw it all out. We tried to eat it but we couldn't. The English Pasta should have never been allowed to leave the place. I could tell by the color and texture it was burnt. It was bitter and tasted like burnt garlic. We had to throw it away. The Picatta as only slightly better....dry and flavorless but not burnt. The pizza and the breadsticks were okay but were cold. Well, yes, and I'm not far... so now we're on to delivery! I ask what's still available and he says: "I have to fire up the grill anyway, so I can make anything. Pizzas are probably the easiest if you want it quick." What?! I'm calling when you're closed, and you're giving me options? And delivery? Amazing.
