Moore and Michaels in the USA minus the home deco extravagance that Hobby Lobby boast and the crafting machines you can purchase for different crafts. The store does have deco like framing but not variety and flowers and jars and paints and materials and jewelry making and scrapbooking and so on. I'll definitely be going back to this craft store. This craft store along w/ The P Cookery in Ludwigsburg Is my favs. There's one more that's in Esslingen in the shopping area of stores where they have there yearly Medieval Christmas Market. The name I do not no. It's a nice size store w/ great crafting finds as well. I do know its worth a visit. I'll be going back soon. Once I get the name I'll be reposting it. I promise.

I sort of fell in love with this place…read more Yeah, it's expensive for certain things, especially rubber stamps and inkpads - but the staff that helped me were really friendly; the guy who explained about calligraphy pen nibs actually brought over a book they sold there to show me what was what (mentioning how one needed practice, and of course a book - good salesman ; ) ) . So yeah. I had a really good time, and if I ever find a job in Germany or win the lottery or discover a big pile of money on the side of the road, I'm spending my first paycheck/all the money here. I was in Germany for…read moreseveral months and wanted to purchase a Pelikan pen from an authorized German dealer, and this shop came highly recommended from the author of the Pelikan's Perch blog. He was certainly right to recommend it. After sending me detailed photos of the two pens I was considering and providing good advice on my decision, the shop sent me the first choice by DHL. It arrived in just two days, wrapped very carefully and with a nice, handwritten note from Mr. Stolz. They also provided the necessary papers for VAT refund (I was leaving within the required 90 days). I decided against the first choice due to size, so they happily sent me the second choice, again very quickly. It was perfect, so I returned the first and received a refund. Top notch service, excellent selection, and the price was excellent (especially compared to the prices in the US through the only authorized Pelikan distributor there, ChartPak).

They had some cute stuff, like little coin purses and to-do lists, but no writing paper/stationery except a pack of like ten sheets for 20€; and most of the store is other random stuff that's not stationery or crafts at all. If I win the lottery I'll go back; otherwise, not likely.
