I believe parts of it have been renovated recently and upgraded. There's a lovely larger bakery, a book shop, an ATM and a small Turkish fast food joint where you can grab a bite to eat. There's also an information desk out front. There's two entrances to the train station. One entrance takes you directly to the shopping area of Solingen. So you have a pharmacy, flower shop, supermarket and small clothing stores nearby. A train leaves for cologne about every 25-30 minutes so that's perfect for me.

Train station is fairly new, very modern. Lots of space with numerous places to have something to…read moreeat or drink. The station does not seem to be heated so if you are there in the winter be sure you are dressed warmly. From the station it is about a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area.

Ohne die Schwebebahn würde in Wuppertal ein Chaos herrschen. Während meiner Schulzeit hat es mich jeden Tag bewegt die Schwebebahn als Verkehrsmittel zu benutzen. Falls man mal eine Bahn verpasst ist die Nächtse , abhängig von Wochentag und Uhrzeit, innerhalb von wenigen Minuten da. Die Bahn ist ein Muss für Wuppertal. Ohne sie kann ich es mir garnicht vorstellen. Auch ist es ein anderes Gefühl in der Luft zu schweben. Meiner Meinung nach müsste wenigstens jeder,der in NRW wohnt einmal Wuppertal besuchen und eine Fahrt mit der Schwebebahn machen. read more

Ein super Verkehrsmittel und einfach superpraktisch da man nicht von Staus oder roten Ampeln beeinflusst wird und auf der Talachse schnell überall hin kommt read more
