I came in on Saturday night and it was a little packed. However I was seated pretty quickly since it was a dinner for one! My server was nice and attentive. The entire restaurant was busy, both inside and outside. It looked like from the outside, it was for drinking and hanging out, & the inside was for dining. I only had the stomach to try the one dish, which was the chicken. The name was in German/Austrian--but the dish was good and savory! It was stuffed with some spinach and cream cheese. I wanted to grab an appetizer but I decided to order the Negronis instead. Which was made to perfection! It would've been cool to check out the shows they had but it seemed booked up. Decent restaurant in a convenient location if you just toured the palace. Menu was completely in German but the staff can briefly translate. The fish was pretty good, nothing mind blowing. We came to eat dinner here twice during our trip because it was within walking distance of our hotel. It was pretty empty, but I thought the food and service was great. I had the beef goulash which came with dumplings. The sauce was on the thicker side with lots of flavor (but not salty). The dumplings tasted fresh and were nice and fluffy so they absorbed the sauce nicely. read more

I enjoyed the Maria Theresa chicken! Spinach and feta cheese filled chicken breast with a bacon shirt. The sauce was very nice. The waiter was very attentive. The cigarette smoke smell creative Ming from the adjoining bar was very strong however, and did effect my overall enjoyment. read more

Really enjoyed my dinner here. The dacor was so lovely and the service was great. But I smelled like smoke when I left and couldn't figure out why. They must allow smoking indoors and it was circulating throughout the restaurant. read more

We had a reservation for the concert at the palace. The concert was scheduled to start at 8:30 pm, but the palace tour ended at 5 pm, and the Christmas market outside the palace was winding down at about 6 pm. We needed to find a place to sit down for a couple hours before the concert. At the suggestion of the concert receptionist, we went to this restaurant. Since we already had different snacks at the Christmas market, we were undecided whether we should sit down at this restaurant for coffee or order dinner. When we talked about it and tried to make a decision as we walked with a waiter in the restaurant, the waiter was very rude to us. We decided to walk out of the restaurant instead of allowing the waiter to treat us in such a rude manner. We rarely saw this kind of rude waiters in US restaurants. read more
