We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and things were constantly uncertain as to whether or not the wedding would be able go to on. Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. Kirk Rubley is the owner and primary DJ and he was the one who provided services for our event. He was outstanding and everything I wanted in a deejay. He was understated in his demeanor, both in his appearance and in his mannerisms. He was polite and respectful, did not use foul language and did not try to take over the party. Rather than making it about himself, he made it about us. Our party was very similar to a wedding reception and he guided us through the various stages in a subtle manner, which was important to me. Unlike other DJs he did exactly what I wanted. I had different age groups there and he only played my chosen genres and did not forget any of the songs I wanted him to play or the order I wanted them played. Kirk also added other songs to the list that were appropriate for the specific age groups present and that did not include foul language or violence. He handled requests very well; if they were questionable he sought my approval first.
