I have tried…read morea few salons in Tunbridge Wells and more often than not left resembling something not too dissimilar from a poodle. However I am pleased to announce my search is over. I loved Headmasters hair and have already recommended it to all of my friends, which also has the added bonus of giving me half price off of my next haircut. I was very pleased to get a pleasant service and the perfect beachy waves I asked for. My stylist Steph was lovely, and listened to exactly what I wanted, whilst also recommending products to help volumise my hair without making me feel overly obligated to buy. As well as their recommend a friend offer, they also have a loyalty card system in place, which allows you to gain stamps towards a half price cut. That, if you too are watching the pennies, makes paying for a decent haircut just that bit more justifiable.

I have been there a few times and it has generally been ok. I would note the floors are filthy with…read moreold hair and detritus and no one seems particularly bothered. It's just the lack of professionalism and care that bothers me. There are so few people in the salon but they can't seem to manage more than one person at a time. Mistakes with my color followed by an expectation that I wait 30 minutes with sopping wet hair for the hairdresser to finish another client after have a nice long chin wag? Do you think he had the interest or professionalism to come over and let me know he was running late or ask if I was ok? Nope! There's a general sense that no one cares. Expect mediocre service at best. There are better places to spend your money in tonbridge with better and more consistent (and hygienic) results.

So I had to switch hair stylists again (God I'm so tired of not being able to find a great one in…read morethis town and when I finally do they move away), so I decided to try out Toni & Guy. I had heard great things about all of the Toni & Guys Salons and was, of course, curious. I called and had no problem getting an appointment around the time and on the specific date that I wanted so that was an immediate plus for me. (Love when a salon works with you and not against you) I'm pleased to say that my entire experience spent there was awesome and my new stylist Rocks! I'm am so pleased with how my hair turned out! Oh please God don't let him leave any time soon. I would totally recommend Toni & Guy to my family and friends!
