Sure the Saskatoon blades WHL hockey team plays there and they are my favourite hockey team in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. 2. The Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse team plays there as well and ever since they started playing there I've been to a few of their games But here is the thing besides (Hockey and Lacrosse) there is one thing missing! And that is both WWE and AEW. Now I get that over the past few years WWE and AEW have been looking at other major entertainment hub cities in Canada. But I know that Saskatoon Saskatchewan has the potential to become a major major major Entertainment hub so we need Saskatoon Saskatchewan to fork out them big red carpet money transactions with WWE for WWE land over at PrairieLand Park and than at Sasktel Centre we need to host events like Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, Saturday Night's Main Event, Clash at the castle, FastLane, Backlash, extreme rules, Wrestlemania!

I tried a couple beer from local craft breweries and they were very friendly staff serving us. The signs marking seats might be a little brighter in the main concourse but I'm betting that at a hockey game it's a whole lot brighter in there in general. The displays commemorating former Blades players and highlights are cool as are the decals of past concerts. My biggest complaint, as an average height woman is that the seats are too small and close together. My knees burst from where they were pressed against the seat in front of me for the little time I wasn't dancing. Speaking of dancing, wow when the crowd got going in the seats in the bowl (regular hockey seats) the entire floor would get bouncing. The sound was amazing, the light crews were fantastic and didn't blind the crowd much.

Before visiting I hadn't realized there was a performance, so I missed what looked like an interesting and informative presentation. Before going, I'd suggest to check the schedule and plan your trip accordingly. The gift shop in downtown Saskatoon was more complete than at this site, and a visit there should definitely be part of your experience of this venue.

Our guests started arriving around 3:00 pm and had access to snacks and a full bar. While it is not obvious there is a service elevator available in case you have guests that struggle with stairs and we did. I have to start with compliments to the staff. Everyone we encountered was cheerful, helpful and working hard to make our evening a success. I spend a lot of time eating out and I was, quite frankly, stunned at how much effort these folks put in. This was a sit-down dinner, something our guests appreciated. We started with a wonderful light garden salad. Followed by roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, baby potatoes, and the only small complaint I would make; frozen peas and carrots, and a delicious gravy. Everything was hot, cooked well and delicious. I loved that they also supplied horseradish for the roast beef. We finished with Saskatoon berry pie with real whipped cream. My brother joked that we might need a "lot" more whipped cream and a few minutes later a huge bowl of the stuff appeared on our table. Very cool.

The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra has a new music director, Maestro Victor Sawa, and his programming…read moreemphasizes fun and enjoyment of orchestral music of all genres. I had a chance to meet him recently with a couple of friends and he wowed us with his energy and enthusiasm and his plans for the season that starts in September. I attended last year's concerts (at least the Masters and Chamber series) and even though I don't know classical music all that well, the sound of the orchestra was terrific and emotional. The last concert of the season, with Puerto Rican tenor Fernando Varela, was unbelievable. This guy is on his way to huge stardom and it's doubtful we'll see him on a Saskatoon stage again. The thing is, the SSO is about great music, entertainment, and an evening of fun. The orchestra has never played better and the events that the SSO has planned according to their website are going to be even more unique and fun than the ones I experienced last season.
