This branch is ideally situated for the locals to nip in and do some top up shopping, although I wouldn't do a main shop here - the stock levels vary from week to week and I often go in only to find that they don't have basic goods. As well as the usual groceries, fresh veg, fruit and meat, they have a quite a varied stock of alcohol, books, gift cards, and household bits and bobs like light bulbs etc. The staff are very friendly on the whole, but the management of staffing levels often leaves a lot to be desired, with regularly only one till open and a queue half way down the shop. You can pay your gas/electricity here, buy your bus pass and they now have a lottery machine, with an ATM located on the outside wall. read more
