Great service from Rich! Will come back again! He took the time to locate what I needed and was very professional.

The people at Mr. Mechanic are wizzes at Vanagon repair. Not only that, they're honest, timely, and…read moretreat you well as a customer. Did I say honest? I've been coming here for repairs since 2021, and when I first showed up my van was an absolute mess. But no matter how obscure my problem they got it sorted for a reasonable price - and what they touch stays fixed! They don't upsell you: on my last repair I could have easily been sold a wheel bearing job and an oil pressure spring kit. But Kevin the owner found my wheel bearing just lost its grease cap, and they said I didn't need the oil pressure kit. That's rare! Take your car here. Right now!

Your mechanic was lost, spent a whole morning poking around, fishing but not catching. What is different here is that the check engine light came back on a couple hundred miles up the road. That is a sign that the battery was temporarily disconnected, which recycles the computer and turns off the warning light for a short time. You gave us the impression that you fixed the problem, but that was not the case. And then you claimed that you solved the problem. No, you did not. This letter will be posted on review sites. Your inexperience is born out by the confused write-up done by your mechanic. Michael Eaton
