Stuck near town, overheated engine, in need of a cooling fan. Advanced website noted the part as…read more"In Stock" at this store, "Ready in 30 minutes" and "Ready to pick up," paid in full. Arrived with car barely running and prepared to install part in the parking lot, and was told, "Uh, we don't have that. We can maybe get one for you tomorrow." I insisted they find one at another Advanced, and then after another Advanced store kept them on hold for 20 minutes, "couldn't" transfer my purchase to that store and I had to pay the full amount again. If they can't do online ordering correctly, they shouldn't do it at all. And they should hire real adults to help customers, not college brats.

I have seen nothing but integrity displayed in their service shop and with the few parts purchases I have made or inquired about. I had a transmission repair that could have ended up in a total rebuild but after going through the tranny they called and said it only needed some gaskets and adjusting. The job ended up being many hundreds of dollars less than I expected. They did what they said they would do, investigate and then give me an educated estimate of the work needed and the cost. Will continue to have work done here.

They charged me $185 to test the batteries, which took 6 hours. Then they told me I needed new ones (my car comes with an auxiliary battery) at a cost of over $650. I wanted to check out battery prices before I committed. Interstate Batteries on Willow quoted one half the price. When I got to their shop to buy my batteries, Chris tested them in a matter of 4 minutes. He discovered I didn't need new batteries, I just need to charge them fully every once in awhile. They didn't make a sale today, but they made a life-long customer. Thanks Chris and Scott and the crew at IB for being so professional and honest.
