Service Point belongs to a chain specialising in print, binding, posters etc. As a student I got a reasonable discount. However, colour prints are expensive in London and especially as a student you think twice before printing something. I guess my wedding present will be a colour photocopier! Roy, the manager who is running this branch is very friendly and tries as much as possible to meet your inquiries. I normally dropped of a CD in the morning and came back in the evening to get the printed work. They usually call you when the work is done. I printed my business cards and binded a lot of reports. For silkscreen prints they can print on A2 tracing papers as well as A2 acetates. If they have less work you even can ask them to print your work immediately, which saves you time to come twice. I remember once the manager even stayed in late as one of my prints have not come out the way I expected. Even if you think the staff is a bit ignorant at first, you will soon find them helping you the best they can, even if it means you give them instructions standing next to them on the screen. I basically needed to get some flyers printed for a client as soon as I possibly could and I was told by my friend that they could do it in 48 hours. I found the designer very friendly and helpful and very willing to listen to what I wanted. However the boss was quite rude! I don't really wish to slag off this place because the end result was quite decent but I found the boss very abrupt and not very customer focused. Having said this though the flyers turned out very good, so I would go back there because of this reason and this reason alone.
