They were able to come out relatively soon and accommodate my work schedule and some alarm system drama. Their service cost a little more than making the screens myself but saved me a lot of time so it was with it. I paid $250 for 7 screens, ranging in size. When we moved in to our house 4 years ago, most of our screens were in bad shape. Many were missing, broken or bent, so the ones we used let in bugs at night and didn't look great. Yvette and her team were great! We just bought our house and it had some missing and damaged window screens as well as a broken sliding screen door. I submitted a quote request on Monday and got a prompt reply from Yvette the same day. Her guys were able to come out yesterday (Tuesday) to give me an estimate and they came to install 11 window screens and 1 sliding screen door today. Started at 9:30am and finished in about 2 hours. We had a pet emergency in a rental apartment with old screens and needed help fast. They were great on the phone, funny and warm. I called on friday afternoon and by monday morning Art and Yvette (plus crew) were at my house setting up where they CONTINUED to be warm, personal, respectful and quick about the job at hand. A bathroom window was impossibly stuck. They unstuck it. A welded metal grate was in the way. They figured out a good solution around it. Etc. Not only were they fast and great to have in our home, the work is pristine-ly done and felt very affordable for the quality. I used them to replace the screens in my 2 bedroom condo and it was all done in a week from the time I called Yvette (who was really on top of managing her guys' schedules). Yvette and Art came to our house to install screens on our windows since we were looking to put synthetic grass in our yard, we have the energy efficient windows that reflect as a mirror and we were told it could melt the grass. Yvette and Art both came out to view our property and discuss the plan, they dropped off several screen samples for us to look at. Unfortunately at the time I first called them for my appointment I was experiencing trouble with our contractor who was doing some concrete paver work in the back yard and I had to cancel a couple of my appointments with them of which I felt terrible because they were always so accommodating to me and understanding. I finally gave up trying to work with that contractor and scheduled for them to come and install the screens. anyway. My yard was full of trash and materials left by the contractor giving them very little room to work with but they totally worked around it and they did a fantastic job! We have several large windows that needed a big screen that we could easily remove for cleaning. I felt like Art really thought about our project and how he was best going to install the screens, the day they came he told me he had been thinking about my project and suggested an idea that worked out tremendously. I also loved that he also told me he was a perfectionist because that is EXACTLY the type of person you want installing screens on your house ! I highly recommend Screen Master door and Window. They did a remarkable job replacing 4 screens in my home, producing a perfect fit when others failed. As a mobile business who measure, cut and fit all the screens on the spot, they were able to ensure that their work was to our precise specifications. They got it right the first time! I even requested a special, heavier duty set of screens called "pet mesh" (which they had available in their van) in order to prevent our cats from pushing through or tearing the screens. When I was testing all the screens, I noticed one had a slight gap, and they corrected it right then and there before I paid them for their services. Overall, Screen Master was convenient and efficient, and they were a pleasure to deal with from a customer-service perspective. My windows are almost square, but it takes patience and experience to make anything actually fit in them. I'm an established general contractor of 25 yrs., and I was hoping to do business with them. I have worked with hundreds of sub-contractors and vendors. Unfortunately, this is my absolute first bad report ever written. They had many good reviews on YELP, and so I thought I would give them a try. I measured all my clients Windows, (30 to be exact), gave them the dimensions, specifications of the product, etc... We agreed on a price, after giving them my debit info (by the way.. Don't do that). She used the program they used to withdraw from bank accounts, my bank at first declined. Then after calling my bank, she did it again. She withdrew the deposit, but it was not available or visible till the next day. We called our bank, asked for them to release the funds, which they did. But after asking them to wait 24 hrs. to have funds released, or asking them what other way I could get the money to them, they didn't want to do business with me.... As if I didn't have the funds, or wasn't trying to make things right with them. I spent some days with them, wasting time, money, and at the end, leaving my client "high and dry". So sad!!!!
