We are excited to host thanksgiving dinner in our TN home, however, we are going to be arriving the night before . The thought of flying across the country with our dog and my mom, having a 2.5 hour drive from Nashville to Knoxville AND then doing all the shopping for the meal, the food prep ect....just really sounded like ALOT! I discussed my idea for a plan with Roy about 2 weeks in advance. I placed an online pick up order for groceries and the Sunday before Thanksgiving Roy picked up the order , drove it 45 min away to our home , put the perishables in the fridge and arranged the pantry items on the counter. It feels so good to know we are going to arrive with that big task already taken care of. Roy and I chatted on the phone as well as text and through those communication I felt really good about him being a nice, intelligent and dependable guy. The cost of his service was IMO reasonable and fair. I've always been a fan of creative entrepreneurs and I hope this review helps send Roy some more business. If I could give him 6 stars I would!

I took my Cockapoo to this groomer for the first and last time. I would give this review one star…read moreexcept Larry did a great job of shaving down my dog. Only problem is, I didn't want her shaved down. I took her in the first time and he told me that she had some deep mats and that he couldn't get his blade comb through her fur. He didn't charge me for the bath but said I could work on the mats and bring her back and he would try to groom her again. I have groomed my own dogs for 20 years and I never shaved them down once. I worked on her deep mats for over an hour two different times to be sure she was mostly mat free. I was able to get a metal grooming comb and a blade comb through her legs and ears with ease when I brought her to him. He called me and told me that he still couldn't get his blade comb through her legs and that her paws were matted too. I told him to do the best he could. Well it wasn't anything but a lazy groomer try. Shaved her down to a quarter of an inch all over her body, legs and ears. My wife absolutely freaked when she saw our previously gorgeous Cockapoo which actually looks like a miniature Golden Doodle. She said "I hate that man" and was practically in tears. I took her there because I heard he did a lot of doodles. In my opinion, he is a lazy groomer that just wants the job to be as easy as possible for himself so that he can do more grooming jobs. Guaranteed, she's never going back to Bloomintails Pet Spa again. Thank goodness my other Cockapoo had a bad back or I would have had 2 shaved dogs

My dog Kaiser has been on the best behavior since his visits to West Bearden Veterinary Hospital…read more A different vet hospital refused to take Kaiser because he was anxious. But the staff at West Bearden were understanding and really came out to take on Kaiser's anxiety and put him at ease. He's been calm ever since and I really appreciate and I'm thankful for the staff meeting the challenge instead of refusing to take him. Surpringly Kaiser remained calm received vaccination and had blood drawn all on his first visit without any episodes. He's had overnight stays and I'm so thankful for the staff and their knowledge, that I will always bring Kaiser there for future stays and treatments. The staff didn't hesitate to meet Kaiser and assured me that they knew what to do if he did become anxious but he remained calm and was very receptive to their care. It has made it possible for me to take Kaiser on walks without him pulling the leash and that was something I wasn't expecting. But thanks to the knowledgeable staff and their expertise I can now walk Kaiser without him pulling to chase everything. I didn't bring Kaiser there for training that was just something the knowledgeable staff did in their normal scope of practice. West Bearden has made a very positive change in the behavior of my dog and I would recommend them to anyone that needed treatment for veterinary care. I'm so thankful for their expertise in knowing how to handle and treat dogs. Kaiser didn't recieve this kind of acceptance at a different hospital therefore West Bearden is the best!!!
