Booking: They demand your name and address when you book the session - and you must provide your driver's license upon arrival. Once they have your personal information (groan), they then ask for a 'deposit' (notice how that requirement isn't relayed until AFTER they have your personal info - you'll see it follows a pattern of deception you'll encounter throughout the ordeal). You will not be provided an address to the location beforehand, only an intersection where you'll be asked to call (now they have your phone number as well) and directed to the location a few minutes before your session time. It makes parking somewhat of a challenge and gives you no time to familiarize yourself with the area. (Even as a New Yorker it was problematic as I'm not from that part of the city) Upon arrival, you're instructed to place your license in a drive-through bank teller type apparatus where the requestor is hidden. They take it, make a copy and then return it. (of course none of that is relayed beforehand). You're then directed to a closet of sorts and told to strip down totally naked and wait (all on camera). They then open an adjacent door to your session room where you're told to wait (mine was literally no bigger than a large walk in closet - and there wasn't much to it). Though told otherwise, you are not allowed to bring your belongings (money, phone, etc...) into the session room, so if having those items out of sight is an issue, keep that in mind. Session: I'd say about 35-40 minutes of my (2 hr.) session was spent either waiting or extended talking with the girl under the guise of reviewing the session (all already laid out in previous communiques). It was sadly obvious these were nothing more than tactics to chew through time without actually doing anything. Even after all that, I was incredibly dismayed that the session parameters we'd outlined were barely followed, there was absolutely no attention to detail (that's being polite) with most core components simply skipped altogether. Everything with the mistress was mechanical, just going through the motions with no enthusiasm whatsoever (chemistry thing? I don't know). It's also worth noting that something many might expect at some point during the session is strictly DIY (not unexpected or surprising, but something to be aware of). Overview: I've been to the other 2 'major' commercial dungeons in NYC, and while neither is perfect, they were light years ahead of what I encountered at the Fetish Fortress without all the ridiculous BS you're made to endure for the session itself. They paint a narrative that they're different, an 'upscale' establishment providing an unparalled experience for their customers. I found them to be severely lacking in all aspects of the venue, both the physical environment, the effort (or should I say, lack of) by the DOM, and the unprecedented demands around your identity. Nothing about this place was even remotely impressive, quite the contrary. They followed up with an email request for a 'candid' review of the experience. I provided them a polite, professional review of my thoughts on what occurred. I received no follow-up expressing any dismay for the lackluster -being polite- experience I encountered nor any attempt to try and address any issues I brought forward. (so much for professionals). Once they have your identity and money, they could care less. Understand - this is who they are. I don't typically write reviews (for anything), but I wanted to provide some insight into exactly what you're getting yourself into in the event you're contemplating pursuing time here. Had I known any of this beforehand, I'd never have pursued it. I screwed up with the identity nonsense and allowed myself to be taken by a group that's clearly not what they portray. 'Hope this helps others avoid the mistake I made.
