The staff were knowledgeable and approachable and gave us advice on how to minimise spending (by taking up the old carpet and disposing it ourselves, save the carpet grips, etc). They also advised us to sign up to their newsletter emails to get a further 10% off. They also offer a free delivery and fitting services if you buy some fancy underlay too. Arranging a fitting was stress-free and we were contacted by phone regarding an update on time on the day. They were professional and quick and left no mess to clean up. We had freshly painted skirting boards and no scratches were left whatsoever. Overall, a great value and professional service that leaves a beautifully fitted carpet!

Inside the store there was a large range of carpets and the quality on the whole seemed to be of a high standard which was good to see. As well as good quality products they had good quality staff who found the right balance between being pushy and helpful. I had ventured inside this place with my parents but the service left me feeling as though I should come away with a product of some sort so this must speak volumes for the way this place handles its business. On the whole a good quality establishment which serves the residents of Prescott road with professionalism and dedication.

Crucially, before cutting into the vinyl I had chosen in the store, Lee pointed out that the planks pattern was going the wrong way, across the narrow part of the bathroom instead of along the length! I had given my own measurements and the owner - who served me in the shop - did admit that had he thought further, the mistake of not putting the pattern along the longer specified given dimension would not have happened. Perhaps the moral is to always have them come and measure! The shop's mistake did cost me - which I am not pleased about - though I did manage to negotiate the extra price down. Had this mistake not happened, or had they been willing to put the matter right without extra charge, I would have given them 5 stars.
