After a few minor fluid (oil, radiator, differential, etc) and part changes (wiper blades, etc), Pops was ready to drive it home. Since the quote started online, it was an easy process to get registered by scanning a barcode and answering a few questions at the window. Once they test drove the car, the quote was the same. I was then given a list of instructions for my Tesla to reset it to its original factory settings. Please note that you have to do all the steps, even the step for the associate. Once that was done, I was brought over to talk to one of reps who presented the paperwork to sign. It was minimal and the explanation was clear. My balance due at the bank will be handled by Carmax and I was given the remainder of the profit via check. The process was pretty seamless! I'd definitely come back again if I have to sell my car.

I live in Carlsbad, and after making multiple trips down there (a 45-80 minute haul each way), their 'solution' to a minor insurance delay was to send me an automated Salesforce threat stating they would release the car if I didn't show up for a third time on Monday. Maria is 'off' on Monday, and management is apparently content letting a bot handle their business. They are willing to blow up a guaranteed, funded deal over a 48-hour administrative window. If you want to be treated like a person--especially if you've done the work to prove you're a serious buyer--go literally anywhere else. This isn't 'Express' service; it's a 'computer-says-no' bureaucracy that doesn't care about your time, your commute, or your business.

That wasn't all, when we had to sign papers with finance he was outside watching the kids for us. By the time we got done it was late and there was no one available to detail the car for us.
