I went here to get weightless injections. They were good for a small amount of time. When I decided to take my shots to do then at home , the medication must have changed. I was extremely allergic to it. Breaking out in hives and have uncontrollable itching. I needed 2 corses of prednisone and a shot to stop the cycle of itching. I called to let them know and when I spoke to the "manager/owner" he seemed very defensive. I lost trust in this place after that. They do not honor their hours!!! I have been a patient for over a year now and have noticed that they have a tendency to close early. Especially on Saturday. I am heading out of town for a couple of weeks, so wanted to go for a weigh in and obtain the program medication. I called when I was on my way to notify them, they said if I arrived before 2pm they could still see me (existing customer), when I arrived a few minutes before 2pm the doors were locked. The employees that were still inside said that the register was already shut down and there was nothing they could do... supposedly they take their last appointment at 1:45 (although you don't actually make appointments) - and that little bit of info is not posted anywhere. You would think that after coming here for a year I would know that, and the person on the phone might have told me that too. It would seem that whoever I spoke with on the phone had already left without communicating that I was on my way. I've been here a few times and usually it's great. The girls are always so nice and make things much less awkward than they need to be. Today was the worse experience of my life... Like other girls I've always been very sensitive about my weight. I had tried a program like this before and it worked so I came here with my boyfriend who also wanted to trim down. He and I always go into the exam room together but I always let the girls know that he is never allowed to know my weight. Today CHRISTIE OR KRISTINE WHATEVER HER NAME IS (couldn't hear it clearly as you screamed it at me when I was walking out the door) repeated multiple times how much I weighed. I stopped and asked to leave. I even said "I'm so uncomfortable now I'm going to cry." I walked out and asked to be seen by someone else. I spoke with the nurse in the back and she was beyond apologetic and felt bad that I was so upset. It's embarrassing how sensitive I am to this issue but at this point I was crying in front of people I didn't even know. I continued with another nurse then left. After I left I sat in my car and could not believe how rude CHRISTIE was. Since I had prepaid for future treatments I went back in and asked for a refund. They said that wasn't possible which I get. Christie was sitting behind the desk and started to give me attitude saying "i did apologize and I didn't say it over again." Her rudeness and unapologetic tone set me off. Only after I started yelling which I'm not proud of did she start trying to play the victim as if I had misunderstood her before. Because I spent 200 for prepaid shots I have to go back there. My fiancé has been coming here for a few weeks. The staff seem friendly and I did notice some weight loss in him, and he mentioned the hunger pills did a good job of curving his appetite. However, today he had to be taken to the emergency room because his heart rate accelerated to a dangerous level, he had an episode of Atrial fibrillation... a side effect of some of the pills he was taking, according to the ER doctor. I've been to weight loss clinics in the past and they have always given me some sort of meal plan. This clinic does nothing like that. They just throw products at you and tell you to portion control. Unfortunately I have no real results to share with you all I lost 6lbs in the 5 weeks I went. I had to stop going in jan due to me being pregnant. I'm so happy to have found SD Weight Loss Center. Two years of grieving after I lost my husband came with 20 extra lbs. All I did was work, come home, fall asleep, wake up and eat and then go back to sleep. This made my depression worse because I no longer felt like the same person I was. I had enough and wanted to changed things and after failing miserably at losing any weight after changing my diet and working out, I came in and started my first week. I started with the low dose phentermine, fat burners, appetite suppressant, water pill and b12 shot. I got more energy that first week but didn't lose but maybe a pound. They increased the phentermine to 37.5 and I upgraded the B12 shot with the Lipomax. That did the trick. I was shedding between 2-3lbs a week, my energy was ridiculous, giving me energy to work out 5-6 times a week but sometimes twice a day. But the best change was my mood. I no longer felt depressed and finally felt like the clouds went away and I was finally able to feel the sun again. The only negative side effect was that the phentermine dried my mouth so I had to drink a lot of water, but that's a benefit to drink more water. I did 13 weeks and lost a total of 18lbs.
