I happen to have a pretty impractical liberal arts bachelors degree from a well-respected…read moreuniversity. Years ago, I took some classes at a community college that were part of a training program that led to an internship, then a job. I was impressed with the quality of instruction and when I found out about a class at SDCCE that I thought would help my job prospects, I eagerly signed up. I needn't have bothered. This online class was basically someone reading from a slide deck. Seriously, that was the extent of it. He was knowledgeable and answered questions when asked, but, unfortunately, it was a waste of time for me. If you are interested in community college classes, I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere. Try here: https://cvc.edu/ or here: https://www.cccco.edu/ Tip: I strongly recommend getting a library card from the San Diego Public Library system: https://www.sandiego.gov/public-library/elibrary You get free access to many eLearning websites, including LinkedIn Learning, Rosetta Stone, and Coursera. I have taken a number of classes on Coursera, and they were all way better than the class that I took at SDCCE. I wish you luck on your lifelong-learning journey. I get no pleasure in submitting this review. It's a bit…read morepainful because having read about the sacrifices great civil leaders had to endure, so that future generations could reap success from the knowledge we gain. I've been attending this institution for several years with the hopes it would improve. It is unsettling to think I have wasted over 3 years of my life. I could have sat at home and learned more from YouTube than what I have been taught at this school. The years attended have left me to conclude that the administration is more concerned with receiving a paycheck than the caliber of students It puts out into the occupational world. Some of the instructors do not have educational background. They are knowledgable in their field, But that doesn't necessarily mean they know how to teach. There's always conflicting information, I think it's due to many staff working on the same issue, resulting in the final product being discombobulated. I've even seen evidence of internal conflict between staff and the dean. Some staff will not reply to emails. Staff always appears to want to rush through whatever task. Presently, online education, the school server LAGS EXTREMELY!! One can take a nap while the choices on the screen process and refresh. When one attempts to look at their transcripts, courses taken aren't updated. There's no indication of certifications courses taken. Some web instruction sites are not secure, leaving computers at risk, and if you use your own device that's a greater compromise. Some of the facilities are in poor shape. Most of the time there is no lab or it's limited due to lack of supplies. Yet they offer the same courses semester after semester. My purpose in writing this review is not about saying everything this institution offers is a waste or that all staff doesn't perform their job responsibilities. Given my experience with this institution I would not recommend attending it. I feel no join in saying it Because that wasn't the vision intended. I close with, Pick wisely, your time Will never be given back!

Don't have dental insurance, ballin on a budget, but your teeth desperately needs a cleaning?…read more Look no further than reaching out to Concorde Dental Hygiene facility. When you call and ask to setup an appointment. You'll be added on a waitlist. Low and behold, I got a call and text from one of their students. Once scheduled, you'll only have to pay $20 CASH. You heard that right only $20!! It covers the whole year so you fan go multiple times a year scheduling a cleaning every 3 months. They only do X-Rays, deep cleaning, and regular cleanings. Tip for thought: Arrive a little early to find parking Shoutout to their friendly Instructors and students Ragad for X-Raying my teeth. Fabiola was awesome in deep cleaning my bottom whole section of my teeth, and Farzin for deep cleaning the top whole section. With a deep cleaning they numb you up real good. You might have multiple appointments so make sure you're okay to stay there for a couple of hours. Once students are all done, instructors examine their work to ensure you're all good to go! Peace Yelp Heads!

This school is alright; I took Medical Assisting and my GPA was 3.1 or 3.2. The staff do suck…read moreexcept Mr. Z, Stacie Evans and Bill Kilby. Definitely a rip off, tuition is $20,000 and I am stuck with $150 a month to pay for loans that I am not able to decrease, in November my monthly loans will be over $200 a month to pay for a school I already graduated from and completed. I do not like how you are taught by different instructors and every few months you are getting your schedule changed around from Tuesdays/Thursdays or Monday/Wednesdays. You also cannot work for the last 2 months up until your graduation BUT you HAVE to pay loans. Ms. Cooke does not have good hygiene; she also teaches slower and has us teach ourselves for the most part. She did not teach right technique on mannequin arms, so we got straight to using needles on each other fairly fast which can be quite dangerous when your classmate is not confident in themselves rightfully so. Staff is either understaffed or the staff that work have favorites. It is a mess; I could go on and on.
