Phoned to ask about a repair to my pontoon and was told to bring the boat in, no appointment…read morerequired. Showed up with boat and spoke with Gareth. He appeared irritated and didn't even look at the damage to the toon. Zero eye contact. Stated "I don't need that thing taking up space with the long weekend coming". I told him I was happy to take it home and keep it there once it was assessed and parts ordered. I then asked if he could do a pressure test to check it was sea worthy whilst waiting for parts. Gareth responded "I will not stake my business's reputation on that in an angry, frustrated tone. At this point I asked him if I had done something wrong to upset him and he back peddled slightly. I asked if he services pontoons there and he said yes but he had no way of pressure testing (a basic service requirement for toons). He didn't even want the keys to the boat. It was a super weird interaction. Very unprofessional. I was left feeling as if my bringing in the boat was a burden to him even though I was told to on the phone. Very poor communication. I felt very uncomfortable and subsequently went back and took my boat out of there and took it to Boathouse in SA. They were great and there were zero issues.

Very helpful staff. Rented scuba diving gear + couple of wet suits. Prices are reasonable. It took…read morea while to get the gear together, they were a little busy and staff was new, but scuba diving gear in general takes a while to fit and put together. The best thing is they were very flexible on returning the gear at a different location in the area (waterway house boats), since their shop was closed on mondays. This saved me a half hour drive and got us an extra day of diving. Would definitely use their service again!

When you arrive it is about 7 blocks away and operating out of a run down house with very few of the services as advertised. The website quoted $350/day to rent a boat when we got there he said it was $400. When questions he actually said "that is a hook, but it is still the best deal". We should have known right then. The next day we were charged with a new propeller. He claimed to have taken a video prior to us renting the boat, we never saw this video until the next day. There was ample time to do a pre-rent and a post-rent walk-around. The boat was in rough shape, but somehow he claims it had a new propeller. So many red flags popped up but we wanted to get on the lake and enjoy the day. We will NEVER rent from this person again and would NOT recommend him.
