Open insanely late, even on weekdays which is a huge plus for us, especially when our friends from out of town were visiting and just came into town in the evening. It's also one of the only late night places that offers raw crab, which we really wanted to try as well. It's located in a plaza with lots of businesses and I feel like at any other day or hour, especially Friday or weekends at night (I've passed by before), the plaza can get super fisted, but on a Wednesday mornight (almost past midnight), there was plenty of parking. There was a security guy walking around too, which is nice. Restaurant is super dim and it's definitely a place people go drinking at while enjoying seafood. They got a Jinro frog statue in front and aquarium tanks with the fresh seafood for you to peruse before it gets served to you. I'm sure this restaurant is super lively Simple menu and most of the items are super shareable. We had 6 people and way more food than we can finish, which we had to take to go. We had to keep asking for water refills and napkins, but the worker was attentive enough and there's a button to summon for service as well, as per many Korean restaurants. For our super late night dinner, we got the: 1) Raw Crab in Soy Sauce (medium size): -More than enough to share. Lots of heads/bodies and legs. -Super sauced up and extremely flavorful. I'm not used to eating this kind of dish so I was surprised at the numbing effect each bit of crab left in my mouth. I've only had that with peppercorn, so this was entirely novel to me. -Unfortunately, I'm not the biggest fan of "bone in" or "shelled" dishes so I only took a couple bites of this, but it was decently enjoyed by the rest of the table. 2) Spicy Sauce Monkfish: -Extremely saucy dish. It's a sweet spicy to it and there's some potato starch noodles in it too which I appreciated since it added some carbs to the dish (though we did end up ordering rice as well). -This dish was so saucy that it spilled everywhere, but nothing some extra napkins didn't negate. -It's a "white" fish, but with a chewy texture to it. Very meaty and it went great with the spicy sauce (at least the bits that I did have of it). 3) Korean seafood pancake: -Pretty big and shareable, but a tad oily and fell apart easily so it's a bit difficult to transfer to different plates without just doing it super close to the actual pancake. Despite that it was perfect snack like dish to balance out the heavy seafood-ness of the other dishes. Good stuff. Overall, not bad, but not something I would eat normally. I got to try some exotic dishes, saw that there's more exotic dishes I got to try in the future. read more

Place is a cool little spot to hangout after hours. But the pricing is not ideal. For Soju it is $26 but if you go to an Asian market, like (99 Ranch Market/H Mart), it'll be maybe $15 for a pack of 6 soju bottles. At other restaurants, they usually charge around $10-$13. So I'm not sure why they over price their alcohol. But don't get me wrong, the service here is not bad. They're actually pretty nice here. But not good for overpriced alcohol or food to add on to. read more

The bill came out to $250, comparable to fine dining restaurants with course meals. There were no people when we walked in which should have been a telltale sign. I feel sick just after eating some of this food. We didn't finish a single thing. Wasted money, calories, and time. I wanted to support a Korean business as a fellow Korean, but they need to close. My family and I visit Koreatown to always look for the best seafood places to eat and enjoy. Out of the many places that we've been to. This is hands down and without exaggeration, the BEST seafood place we have EVER been to. If you like raw seafood this is the freshest one that we've ever eaten. They even have certain raw dishes that my family has never tried before but enjoyed immensely out of every single one. For example, one of the restaurant's specialty is having raw lobster. The meat was sweet, perfectly tender, and was so succulent that my family became addicted to it. What's amazing is that after you're done eating it, they'll even cook the rest of the lobster to make you this Korean Lobster soup that is so delicious and savory. Even the sashimi here was the BEST and FRESHEST meat we've ever tried. I strongly advocate anyone that appreciates or wants to enjoy seafood as much as my family does to come and eat here. In addition, the service here was amazing. The waitress was so nice and offered extra additional dishes that was on the house. If there was more stars I'd give it a 20 more stars. This place has some delicious love sashimi. I've tried the live assorted platter and the live lobster sashimi, and the lobster is my favorite. They keep the lobsters live in a tank inside the restaurant, so it's very fresh. Food is good, service is good, in my experience. They had a nice outdoor setup for a while, but outdoor dining has been closed again. read more

This place was super fire bomb...the service was on point and the halibut sashimi was on point.... all the extra side dishes they give you is wayyyyyyy too much... I wish I can take half the stuff they give you home. From everything like the porridge to the raw shrimp... mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm.
