This place charging 20% tip automatically even with two people. It's so f'cked up.

This place charging 20% tip automatically even with two people. It's so f'cked up. And even the automatic charge they even suggests for more additional fee. And the reason they brought up was it was because after midnight charge. This place is such a joke. What a bunch of clowns. Hope this place get shut down.

20% Fee FOR WHAT?? ARE YOU TRY TO RIP OFF OF PEOPLE HARD EARN MONEY?

What kind of charge is overnight after 1:00 AM FEE charge? Is it even legal? We go for 2 people and they automatically charge 20% for service. What service can it be? I will call CTDFA department to report this!!

Yo this spot is what you make of it. First off, food and service are great, if you are a respectful guest. If not, we'll, why are you not? That's it. Oh the food is great all the time. The seafood is good, obviously... they have a tank! Otherwise I recommend the kimchi minaret pork belly and the grilled squid. Also... if you're adventurous, their take on the spam and eggs is eggggcellent! Jimmy the owner is a cool cat.

We used…read moreto go to the location in San Pedro before it closed for construction and then we ended up finding this location which is much closer! Parking can be a bit tough at times because it's always packed! The restaurant has a lot of seating as well as a patio outside! They have a pretty decent size menu and a lot to choose from! When you walk in you wait in line and if you're ordering fish, you can pick out which one you want. After they write up your order, you pay and then they will call your number when it's ready! We normally order the tilapia fish, Camarones enchipotlados, the shrimp tempura plate, garlic bread and steamed rice. There hasn't been one time where I left hungry! They give you good portions and everything is so tasty. The fish is cooked to perfection, the shrimp and the chipotle sauce is to die for and the tempura shrimp are so yummy! Overall, this is a place where you could come over and over again and never get tired of it! If you're looking for great seafood in the LA area, definitely checkout Alaska Seafood, they will not disappoint!

Customer service was nonexistent and they wrote nasty things about my dispute. I'm sure that they have good fish, but they didn't send it to me. I spent my early life as a seafood harvester and have the best king salmon from the Alaskan Waters so I have a good idea of quality. Their product did not measure up.

If you're driving, Crab House also has a public parking lot that is a gem in this Koreatown area where you don't have to pay or valet. Crab House specializes in Korean seafood, especially raw crab. We felt welcomed as we came in, even with the language barrier, you can tell the ladies were friendly. It was an intimate restaurant but it has dividers up so you feel a sense of privacy even when there are others nearby. The tables all had gloves, for handling the seafood. Even before reviewing the menu, I knew we had to get their raw marinated crab, since it's what they're known for. We decided to share their #9 Combo ($39.99) which comes with 2 USA Crabs and an extra small Sea Urchin rice and a Korean Potato Pancake ($8.99). Meal comes with complimentary side dishes and iced tea. Wow what a glorious spread. This was my niece's first time having raw marinated crab and she really enjoyed it. The fresh seaweed, imitation crab, and fish eggs it was served with was good too The sea urchin rice had uni, rice, quail egg, and fish eggs. Not that fresh or essential but interesting to try. The marinated raw crab was definitely the star. The Korean potato pancake was a decent addition. We both liked the crispy edge pieces but didn't like the soft soggy spots as much. Eat while fresh for maximum crispiness. We both enjoyed our meal and it was a very unique experience. We will definitely be back for more marinated raw crab and to try more of their menu.

THIS PLACE is always good everytime I've gone but I think they improved from the previous years because the banchan was so interesting !! I never had a fish head + deeply braised radish that was perfectly salty spicy and sweet. The spicy rice cake portion was huge ! My friend and I were super full leaving and extremely satisfied. 10/10 recommend for uni bowls + raw crab lovers. I prefer the korean crab but the spicy one just goes so well together. Absolutely amazing service ! Super kind and helpful. Small cozy restaurant not here for the aesthetics of the atmosphere more here for the aesthetically pleasing food + delicious taste. It was perfectly pleasant, though be warned: foot traffic passes just a few feet away. I kicked things off with a martini, which was excellent--surprisingly generous by today's standards and a real deal at $12. For starters, I had the Caesar salad. Think tuxedo at a pool party: definitely overdressed. But it was delicious, and I'd order it again--just with light dressing. The fish sandwich was fine, nothing more. I couldn't help thinking McDonald's might edge them out on the Filet-O-Fish (though it's been decades, so who knows). It wasn't bad; I'd just try something different next time.

Parking is brutal in the area so expect to be circling around for a bit. They have a late happy hour which are half off oysters which is nice! We tried a set of raw oysters - rockefeller, small but might in flavor and meatiness. Shucking was done well too. Grilled octopus - pricey for the amount you get, but cooked well. Accompaniments like potatoes were OK, but could have more mushroom. Shell pasta - the pasta was homemade cause it tasted so light. I think the sauce was a little too light for me as well, but overall still a solid dish. Cioppino - Also a little lighter in flavor and I think just smaller in size in comparison to price. Seafood is fresh though, and that's clear in every dish here. Lonely Louie - the star of the night. I loved how fresh and bright this was. Everything mixed so well together and would definitely be getting this again. Atlantic Pie - their version of a key lime pie and was a tangy, nice finisher to the meal.
