I hate leaving negative reviews but I feel others need warning about this place. We went to eat at this place because their ad said 39.95 for a couple to eat. In small print it says that it is only before 3pm. Then we find out that they charge an additional 10 per person for crab. So to sum it up 222 dollars and a bad waitress later we realized that they didn't offer much and are very over priced. At 37 dollars a meal before gratuity you should expect to be pretty happy with the experience but we felt underwhelmed. That said the restaurant was clean and the buffet hot and full. read more

Dinner was great. Food was delicious. I can't understand why anyone gives them a negative view. All you can eat crab legs. They do offer military discount and they have coupons on their website. Oh. Dear. Butts. Where to start? I ate here for dinner three nights ago and it was such a horrible experience, I'm still all riled up about it. It was so bad, I think I may have PTSD. My husband wanted All You Can Eat crab legs. His wish = my command. Anyhow, I'm not a huge crab legs fan, but I'm fairly easy to please and figured I'd be happy with the sides. I tried to be more economical by ordering off the menu instead of the $32 (Yes- I SAID THIRTY TWO DOLLAR!) buffet. However, they discourage this by providing very few menu options and tacking on extravagant prices (barely anything under $24.99) to the few menu items they DO have. Our server was pleasant enough, and the service was okay, but the food...oh, great hellish nightmare, the food was inedible. My husband consumed 76 lbs of crab legs, which he said were good. He also ate 1/2 a steak, which he said was bad. I tried a small bite of nearly EVERY item on the buffet, and it was all atrocious. From the mushy, baby food carrots and brocoli to the "why does it all taste the same" fried seafood. ALL of the food had an awful, stale boiled water flavor. The mashed potatoes were thin and had a disturbing metallic tang to them. The button mushrooms tasted sour. Even the fried rice was completely bland and flavorless. The piece of shrimp and one bite of scallop I tried both had an odd combination texture of both chewy but also mushy at the same time. They kind of reminded me of the texture of old playdough. But playdough tastes better. Especially with salt and pepper. So, to sum up, my husband paid $32 for me to be really, really sad for a long time while I watched him demolish crab legs. I've had exponentially better meals from gas stations- and not the fancy ones like Sheetz and WaWa- I'm talking about the ones with crackers and old sandwiches. This review is for a takeout and not on the buffet. It also must be noted that it's November, after Thanksgiving so this is the off-season. On a Saturday night in Myrtle Beach you would think there would be more than one seafood restaurant open. Wrong!! This was the only one open for miles at 6:30 pm. I tried to call this restaurant to place my order but they wouldn't answer the phone. So off I went to the restaurant to place & pick up my order. After 20-30 minutes another customer came in and ordered a takeout, waited 20 minutes and her order came. I finally got my order after 55 minutes which I feel was unreasonable since 99% of their business is the buffet. My husband was happy with his 3-item combo plate of fish, popcorn shrimp and deviled crab. My shrimp scampi was ok but for the life of me I don't understand why chefs leave the tails on the shrimp. No utensils were provided. Overall the food was ok. Not great and not terrible. It was the only seafood restaurant that wasn't a bar that was open on a Saturday night in a major tourist town. This was a good find for us! It had every type of seafood I would want on the buffet, plus there were non-seafood options for the rest of my family that wanted a different option. The food was quite tasty, and even my husband, who isn't a big fan of seafood, thought it was delicious. The kids loved the giant ship that was the buffet bar. And they thought the lice mermaids were pretty cool too. The mermaids were so friendly with the kids...giving high fives, talking to them, and posing for pictures! The wait staff was great too. Our waitress kept our drinks full, and took away dirty dishes quickly. Just be aware that they have a gift shop at the exit that you must pass through to get out. They had some great pirate themed t-shirts! Will definitely put this on our list for our next rip to Myrtle Beach. read more

Was looking forward to dining here however that was not the case. When we arrived we noticed there was a wait, No problem so we waited. The host said it would be a 15 minute wait. Still no problem, strangely the host was not writing down names and was guessing who was up next. Crazy right. Needless to say we ended up leaving because of lack of organization. It was ridiculous. If you want food poisoning this is the place for you. Have never been sicker on vacation than after eating here. That aside, the "ambiance" sucks too. They shove you in a tiny booth where everyone has to get up when you want to go to the buffet. What a poor set up. The buffet food was average at best, crab legs were cold, everything else fried. The non-seafood items look like they have been laying there for days. No room to maneuver and constantly bumping into others. If you are polite and wait for someone to get by you the staff will take that opportunity to push past you to do whatever they are doing. There are better seafood buffets with better food, service, and set ups that are less expensive than this place even factoring in coupons. read more

Will never return! To start, the food on the bar was cold when we advised them of the issue the new hot food was just ok. After we finished and paid our bill of almost $180 my husband found a maggot crawling on him. We spoke to the manager and all he could offer us were two free buffet dinners on our next visit, some coupons and 50% off something in the gift shop. We visited Myrtle Beach for the day and decided to try this place out. It was very crowded and we were not spaced away from anyone and tucked away in the back room To the right hand side. About 75% if the seafood was cold. We went right around 1pm. Almost everything we got was cold. The only exception was the ribeye and that's because they just put it out. We had many flies around our food while eating. It is way overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go sit down somewhere else and have a better meal for much cheaper. It is extremely overpriced. If you're in the mood for a fried seafood platter and have a coupon with you, this might be an ok place to go. Like others have said, the free hush puppies and honey butter are good. I even put the honey butter on rolls which were baked nice and crispy. The breaded butterfly fried shrimp were delicious and the coleslaw was sweet and crunchy, how I like it. If you're lucky enough to get a steak just after they're put out and have your pick of the meat, that could turn out well for you too. I enjoyed the potato crusted fish kabob too. I tried fried oysters which were also tasty. We went early in the evening so things hadn't been sitting out long. There were quite a few items for folks that didn't like seafood. I liked the sea decor. The bad: the non-fried fish did not look appealing to me. The little steamer clams were cold by the time I got them to the table. The desserts were very limited. With all this going on at the moment we all should understand social distancing.
