It's too bad that some people apparently had a hard time there. Jumping over rows is rude and harms the crop they work very hard to produce. It's very hard to find workers for jobs like this now and sometimes you get a bad "berry". It happens. If people would pick properly no one would feel the need to yell. I enjoyed my time there and picked what I wanted fairly quickly. The woman weighing was pleasant and I enjoyed speaking with her while paying for my treasures. YUM!

David is a fair man to work for. And if there's good berries, don't let the ignorance of others ruin your time. I stood up to them. It's ignorance. And as long as they think they can get away with it they will continue. We need to support our local farmers. It's hard work. And that is a family's dream there on the bank of the river. Due to the timing of our visit, the blueberries were soft and the surrounding landscape was muddy from the heavy rain the day before. Ended up keeping about a half a pint. No maggot issues. They just didn't make the long ride home. There were a good amount of flies and mosquitoes in the area. So wear big spray! If planned right, it would be a good place for picking blueberries if you're looking to support a local farm.

During our visit, I will say a large portion of the space was in use for a party/event. Despite this the staff were very warm and welcoming to our party and even tried to create a private lounge like space for us. I very much appreciated the effort they put to make us feel welcome. I wish the weather would have been a little nicer to enjoy outside! I got their vanilla hard cider while my wife got their blueberry hard cider. Both were phenomenal. They have many varieties of apples and the views are amazing however the prices are a bit high. We usually take our grandkids and it adds up very quickly. Charging what you need to charge for the apples is one thing but they also charge for the use of bounce houses. I don't know but it comes off a a bit greedy. Anyway, for the 4th of July event, while we appreciate that parking was free and was pretty organized, the quality of fireworks was a bit disappointing especially considering that they had some partnership with the town and it was for the USA's 250th.
