You hear stories of some photographers who take forever to send the finished photos, but Martin not only sent us a batch of photos right after the wedding so we could show people right away, he sent all our photos not long afterwards. What I think makes a photographer really stand out is when they can utilize their skills to capture a couple's unique personality. Each of them has their strengths, whether it be photography, video, editing or even a special knack for getting those rare shots from little kids that make family and friends say "awwww", and are an integral part in covering your day or event. I've long admired the work of Visions By David, but assumed that with their level of experience and time in the business that we'd never be able to afford their services when the day came for our special day. Still when it came time to begin having conversations with photographers for our destination wedding in PDC, Mexico we reached out to them anyway to see what, if anything was possible. Meeting with David and Marianne was like meeting with old friends right from the get go, David is the artist and Marianne his director (well sort of, but aren't all wives their husbands directors, haha). We felt super comfortable with them from the get go and when we expressed our concerns about budgets and the like, the told us not to worry and that they would work within our budgets and produce something extra special and memorable. We decided on a photo and video package for the wedding, and in addition to their fees we paid for the travel of 3 team members. While this might sound like a lot, having the team there 24/7 was great as most photographers you would hire for a wedding in Mexico as we found would charge nearly the same but for 4-5 hours of work on the day of - and you have no in person contact with them before arriving on location. They were true professionals, upon arrival they got to work, walking every square inch of the resort (and off) to find ideal locations and then measuring the lighting days in advance at different times of day so they knew exactly what sort of situations they would be dealing with and where would be best for us to get the best pictures. Where their experience showed was in helping us organize our day of photos so that we were able to maximize every instant and capture it all. They planned a full day where they were able to get the guys getting ready and having some fun while the ladies were getting their hair and make up done, then transferring over to the ladies and the eventual first look and group shots before the ceremony and reception. The benefit of having the team there is they all knew what to look for and if a hand or head was misplaced, or people weren't lining up properly you had not 1 but 4 sets of eyes calling details out to ensure every picture was picture perfect. In addition to our wedding, we also planned to do an offsite shoot at a cenote (naturally occurring cave with water in it). Because of their time in the business they knew who to talk to and where to go to ensure this experience was private, special and amazing. While the video does take a bit longer to get done, it should be arriving soon but if it's anything like the pictures we have (over 1000 awesome shots) I know we'll be able to relive the magic of our wedding day for years and years to come. Rob is one of the best photographers in the world to shoot with and I highly recommend working with…read morehim. He's a very kind soul and lovely person to hang out with. He can certainly make you laugh as well. One of the safest photographers in the world guaranteed, so even for boudoir and nude/art nude. He is especially very experienced for new models who want to start doing boudoir and nude but are shy and unsure because of just how he is and his demeanor. He won't force you to do anything and makes you feel comfortable. He helps with everything, including poses or if you run out of ideas. Very creative spirit!! If you want to get into boudoir and nude, he starts you with clothed, not immediately in boudoir and nude to ease you into it and if you still don't want to do it, he is fine with it. Did 2 virtual photoshoots with Rob and it was amazing. Virtual photoshoots take longer time than a normal photoshoot but Rob was really patient with technical difficulties from both sides, especially on my side, the model, who don't have proper tripod for my phone especially to keep it steady. First photoshoot took longer because I was his guinea pig for virtual photoshoot, but the quality was amazing. When lockdown lifted, I finally got to shoot with Rob many times. He is an awesome and funny person to work with and has fabulous photos as well. He is also very fun, creative and professional. You will be in a safe and comfortable environment working with Rob. He also delivers pictures really quick, meaning you don't have to chase him for pictures at all. His return time is like after a few hours to overnight so be prepared to hear from him a lot. He communicates very well and is clear. I'm glad Rob and Isaiah did a good 2hr shoot in Monte Carlo inn because I was tired from the night before from work and almost didn't want to do the shoot. He decided to pick me up and we did a very good 2hr shoot and got 3 publications from the shoot. He also brought me back home. Thank you Rob so much. Still felt bad about that lolol Very pleased working with him and 100% recommend. He's very professional and highly recommend him for any kind of shoot.
