Brady did a very good job and I have no compaints with him. HOWEVER, your customer service was one of the worst I have ever seen. I received an email that he would be at my house between 8 and 4PM. I had to cancel appointments so I could be home. At 4PM I received another email that he would be here at 6:00. You need to have people scheduling and not the automatic thing you have. read more

My first complaint is not being able to talk to talk to a person. I expect a full refund for the defectives part that was ordered and for the labor cast since repair was not completed. I waited almost two months for this repair to be done. Still not fixed I will never call sears again for service you can't talk to a human bad parts are ordered appointments cancelled. read more

original appt to repair my refrigerator was Oct 3rd. Received a text asking if I would like to reschedule for Sept 28th, yes I would. Morning of the 28th received notice my tech would arrive between 8 and 5. No one showed up. Someone called me and said tech had an emergency and rescheduled for Oct 11th. That day received email with picture of tech and more precise time. Tech came said I needed a new compressor and ordered parts. Same tech came back on Oct 30 installed parts and told us to wait 24hrs. Refrigerator never got cold. Called again and they sent a new tech out 2 days later who found the 1st tech installed the parts backwards. He ordered new parts and said the earliest appt we could get was Dec 5th. The days leading up to the 5th I received 4 text messages to confirm the appt. Day of confirmation email has no picture of tech and still says 8 to 5. At 2:30 I start calling just to have to deal with bots. Finally had to pick option to get a plan to talk to a human. Again excuse is tech had emergency even though we all know there was no tech assigned my appt. After reassuring me there was a tech assigned I was told the tech would call me within the hour. At the end of the hour I received a text that my appointment was rescheduled to Dec 31st! I have no faith that anyone will show up on New Year's Eve! They charged me $535 back in Oct and my refrigerator still doesn't work. I guess I'll have to fight the boys for my money back! read more

Service tech was good. customer service was the worst. Took off from work because there was an appointment made between 8-4. they called and cancelled. there goes 8 hours that i will never get back. Next appointment after being on the phone with someone that don't speak English vary well, talked with a supervisor that promised that someone would be at the house at 4pm. That tech was a no showHad to have some one sit at my house for the next appointment. that took 8 minutes to look at oven and say oh it needs a new display. i already told them what was wrong they could have brought the part with them. now another appointment so now this is the 4th appointment and finally fixed what a JOKE. read more

When he finished we thought we were good. As it turns out the wiring is all messed up with plug in's that don't work. With 220s that either don't work or work on appliances that aren't supposed to be hooked to them. When we asked him to come back to troubleshoot and fix what was wrong he demanded more money. Now we are left trying to fix and decider his mistakes.

Not sure who to call, I did a search and recognized the name Sheesley's. The reviews were very positive, so I thought I'd call. The woman I talked to in the office was very professional and said she would definitely send a crew to fix this. It took a couple of hours before they came, but this was actually quite fast as all of their crews were engaged on other projects. The two that came to the house were terrific. They quickly figured out the problem and commenced to replace the sump pump. After a successful installation, they monitored the pump to insure it was was doing exactly what they thought it should be doing. I was extremely happy with the service provided. I would definitely recommend them for future work.

The project vastly exceeded the initial 4-hour estimate, ending up at over 8 hours of labor without any mid-job notification that the scope or time was doubling. Additionally, I was charged two separate $150 site visit fees ($300 total) for a single job that was split into multiple visits for their scheduling convenience. Despite a verbal agreement to provide the main parts 'at cost,' since I already had them ready to order, the final invoice included significant markups on basic cleaning and truck supplies like towels and buckets. When I reached out to discuss these discrepancies in good faith, suggesting compromise, the response was defensive and included immediate threats of late fees on a first-time invoice that was actively being contested. PitStop reduced the invoice by $50 as "good faith". After I itemized out a compromise between what I was led to expect and what was invoiced, I was ghosted. After waiting a few weeks and following up with no response, I chose to pay the invoice in full simply to close the matter, but I strongly advise other property owners to get a binding written contract and a capped labor quote upfront before any work begins.

Brendan from Sears Home Service was dispatched to repair a GE dryer under warranty that wasn't heating. Honestly, the only pleasant part of my GE warranty repair experience was Brendan. While GE's scheduling system didn't communicate well with the subcontractor's system, Brendan was true to the schedule set by Sears Home Service. Brendan was friendly, efficient and did what was needed to get the dryer working so I didn't have to spend another Saturday morning at the laundromat. Communication was great before the appointment and during- Brendan patiently explained what he was doing and educated me about common issues with appliances of this kind and basic repairs/maintenance owners are capable of doing when an appliance is out of warranty.
