One of the things I discovered is that they have ATM machines from 3 different banks, and when I was there, there was no waiting line, unlike at the atm's at the banks and especially in the Centro area with all of the tourists! Our Air bnb rental was within walking distance to Chedraui. My US bank has a reciprocal agreement with Scotia Bank, atm fees for obtaining cash are charged at atm when getting cash, but repaid! One of the ATM machines was Scotia bank's. That's a winner!!! I think I " lucked out", and learned a great travel technique: go to the big box store for ATM!

What I do love and buy at least 3 every time I come is this sort of corn flakes nest dipped in chocolate, my favourites are white chocolate & milk chocolate. Also another One of my favourites are the lenguas de gato or cats' tongues. Which is basically just a kind of presentation for chocolate, but it been my favourite since I was a little girl and my grandma used to buy them for me every chance she had.
