I had a a pedicure 2 weeks ago. Two days ago the polish began falling off in sheets, a single toe at a time, first in my bed then in the bath. I collected the nail polish sheets and took them to the salon to show the owner. I thought they might at least offer to re-polish my toes, but no, they decided it was my fault for choosing the cheap polish and not the gel polish. What business model is this? Wouldn't you think they would want me to return as a customer? There are 3 nail salons at the corner of Tefft and Mary, I think I will try one of the other two. read more

She's been going to a nearby salon for quite a while, but decided to try Seasons after getting a recommendation from a friend. She made an appointment for 1 PM on a Friday several days in advance and was looking forward to having both her nails and toes done. My wife arrived on time, but was told by a gentleman (the Owner? I am visiting family for the weekend, and called for an appointment for a full set expecting them to fit me in later.. but they fit me right in. I showed up and it was clean and was impressed by the set up and the vibe they have - they have created such a relaxing environment. They were busy, but they sat me down immediately and started working on my nails. It is important to note that I bite my nails so my nail beds are not flat so I need different tips than the "natural" ones. I can't count how many times I've been unhappy with acrylics sticking up due to my nail beds. Tony saw that I bit my nails and did not make me feel weird or awkward about it, and was super polite when explaining why he chose different tips. He was incredibly friendly and asked me throughout the process whether I was happy with the results (which I was), and he did an amazing job, and he even helped me choose my color (to match my hair). During my appointment, multiple regulars walked in and all of the staff knew them each by name and were so welcoming and friendly with them, which is always a good sign. Anyway. I had a similar experience same as HAILE J. Says 15 days ago, so around the end of FEB'23... My appt. was in DEC. '22.. I made an appt -- then when I got there they said CATHY was on VACATION and they handed me to DANNY, the male tech. That doesn't bother me, the point is they LIED, and then DANNY proceeded but he's gruff and rude and I don't like them talking in THEIR language. Then they argue and bully customers into their pricing and service. We have a nail tech coming to our house. I HATE all these salons and the job they're doing.. I went into this salon due to Nail Image in Nipomo Ca next to Vons doing the worst job on my pedicure. (I posted a review on here on Nail Image's Review, please read it) After leaving Nail Image completely upset I came here to Seasons to see if they could fix my toes. They were so nice and so caring. They sat me down and redid my toes and redid the paint... They didn't charge me very much and they made me feel so appreciated... I will never go anywhere else... The whole environment there was so relaxing and just had a really good vibe about them... I felt like I mattered and I just can't say enough about them!!! I can't believe I've been here for 12 years and I've never even known they were there in the same small shopping strip that Me n Ed's and Lemos next to T-Mobile store!!! I am from Thousand Oaks, CA visiting my son in Nipomo for the weekend. I suggested we get a mani-pedi and Google'd "nail salon near me". We found this business right around the corner. They took us in without an appointment. I got the best mani-pedi I have ever received. I'm 73 years old. The nail tech seemed very focused and highly trained. She took her time conscientiously taking care of me. Proud of of her work, very adeptly removing cuticles and dead skin, cleaning, filing, and buffing my hands and toes. She even used a lemon to whiten my nails. They look beautiful. My son hasn't had a mani-pedi in years. I'm sure he was a challenge but his tech also did a wonderful job. The salon was well lit, clean, attractive and inviting. They are very generous with supplies needed for a good job. (Where I get one at home, they won't even put soap in the water to soak your hands. The cuticle remover and lotion is watered down.) I live 2 1/2 hours away. A little too far for a weekly manicure but I will surely make a point of having one at the Season Nails and Spa every time I'm in town. They have spoiled me for no other salon! read more

Seasons is my number one go to because I live in Nipomo. The quality of their service is usually excellent. Last two times I went in was no where close. It's almost like the nail technician gets distracted and wants to blame you for a why they're distracted when communication is minimal. Went in for my usual Mani/pedi... foot job went great. Moved to nail table where it all went bad. Long story short she'd paint one nail at a time per hand... and then put it in the light and then grab my other hand and paint one nail and then switch hands and put that one under the light.. so some of my nails have a topcoat some of my nails have two coats some of my nails have one coat and some of them don't even have a topcoat. This is a great nail salon. My pedicure lasted weeks without chipping. Once you sign in, they use your name a lot and it's really nice and personable. Good color choices, well spaced and aired out for proper covid measures. They also don't allow more inside than occupancy allows, even to wait in the sitting area. Hi everyone - I saw one of the male technicians for my manicure about a month ago. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he seemed confident about being able to achieve the look and design (photos are attached). As he was doing my nails I stopped him multiple times to tell him that it was not looking like the photo and that the shape was completely off. He assured me that it will look fine and that he would fix the problems I was addressing. It ended up getting to the point where I knew there's nothing he could do fix my nails because it looked nothing like what I wanted. I didn't allow him to finish, paid and left very upset. I sat in my car for two minutes and realized I could not allow them to take my money for the horrible job they did. I went back in and asked for my money back and for them to remove the nails. The guy who did my nails was so rude to me and did not want to refund my money. I asked the manager, "does this look like a quality manicure to you?" He could not say yes because he knew it was not. He agreed to give me a refund and gave me a voided receipt but guess what!? He never actually refunded my money. This demonstrates poor customer service and integrity. I understand people make mistakes, but he didn't even want to correct his mistake. For this reason I will never go back here again. As a customer I want to spend my money at a place that values me as a customer and cares about the quality of their work. I also think it's important for a technician to be honest if they're not able to do what you're asking for, I would have appreciated this honesty before I sat in a chair for two hours. If these things are important to you too, you should go else where. They truly don't care about their customers because after reading their bad reviews, I noticed that no one from the salon has written back to address the issue to at least apologize. I just wish I had had read the reviews before coming here. This is only the second or third review I've ever written on Yelp. I felt the need to let everyone know about this experience because I would hate for this to happen to someone else. read more

Nails look nice, but the nail tech did cut me a few times and they seem like they are thick acrylic when I asked (and paid for) gel extensions. They were very nice however overall I enjoyed my experience. Now just worried about infection with several cuts on fingers which could have been avoided. Worst nail salon ever. Came home in tears. Arrived at 11 right when they opened. Waited 1 hr 30 minutes for an acrylic removal that should have been very quick. I had to do it myself, had to painfully scrape the acrylic off my bare nails with the tools. The woman handed me the tools, completely dismissed me and took 2 more clients that walked in well after me. She was in the middle of helping me and she stopped to answer her phone and text. The most unprofessional and rude treatment I have ever experienced. My nails hurt and are disgusting. Obviously won't be going back. Greedy, sloppy and rude just about sums it up. read more

I get manicures, pedicures and waxing. They pay attention to detail and are responsive to requests, they do everything they can to make their customers happy. I have always had an excellent experience when I've come to get my nails done. I've been serviced by every technician they have, and all of them have been excellent with gentle hands and expertise. I love the staff because they're always so nice, welcoming and remember your name (which is nice too). I've been coming here for a while because it's close to home and convenient but I've decided after giving them the benefit of the doubt/chances countless of times, I'm ready to move on to a different nail salon. Never have I walked out with cut up cuticles to the point where I'm bleeding and felt uncomfortable because they grab your hands so aggressively they seem so pissed off (mainly the girls working there), I've never seen gel bubble up like the way it does after leaving and on a good day, my nails won't look so bulky as if a student in training did them. I come to Season salon regularly to get manicures and pedicures. The salon is lovely, clean and comfortable. I've been helped by all of the technicians in the years I've been coming here, and they are all wonderful. They are all very gentle and do high quality work. My mom is also a regular, and she is happy to invite my sisters, my daughter and I to a girl's day at the salon. My daughter, who is four, is treated like a princess while getting her toenails and fingernails painted at Season salon. They have the sweetest little pedicure chair for kids! read more

I went in to have new gel polish put on. The woman was obviously distracted/bored and doing the minimum. I left with bubbles through out my nails and drastically uneven polish. I went back to have them fixed, was told it was because of bad lighting, and still had bubbles and uneven polish. I won't be returning. I have noticed that even though 5 people came through the door and all the technicians were busy, they'll tell them there isn't a wait and put them on pedicure chairs. Some customers said, oh we can come back but were told to sit down in the chairs. I would have hated to wait as long as I know they did. Went in for a pedi and brow wax. The pedi tech dug into my toenail bed so deeply that it bled. When I got home it still hurt and by the next day it was infected. Three days of topical antibiotics to heal it. Charged me $35. The brow wax took all of about 90 seconds and I could barely tell a difference. The wax was WAY too hot and left me with a red forehead, and she barely shaped them. Complete waste of money. I will not go back. read more

I have gone to Seasons since they opened in Nipomo. Usually I get both mani/pedi. On Friday September 8th 2023 (end of the day), I wore shorts to the salon as it was a hot day. I did notice they didn't wipe down any seats between each person but they did clean the bowl liners. I sat in 2 chairs, one with the bowl for the pedi and the other one for the mani. I sat in those chairs for 2 hours as they are slow and help other people before they help you. For the First Time Ever, I caught RINGWORMMMM from SEASONS salon. I went to the doctors 10 days later September 18th 2023 and its confirmed that it is ringworm. SInce the workers don't clean or wipe the chairs ever or between customers, I was the unlucky person to contact this and currently on antifungal medicaitons. I called the salon asking if they clean the seats between customers and they refused to answer and changed the subject immediately. They could care less what happened. I wrote this review on Nextdoor app and they got my review taking down immediately as I am trying to provide awareness to the public especially since it affects their health. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I am experiencing. It is so awful to catch a FUNGAL INFECTION. So awful and embarrassing. Will never go back. The worst part is the salon will not apologize of what happened. Ive provided photos. read more

Wow. I went in for a quick polish change before leaving town and they charge me $21! Polish changes are usually around $10-$13, besides it not even being that good they didn't tell me until afterwards and I was shocked! I will never come back to this business again their prices jumped up so ridiculously high and it's definitely not worth it. Katie and Jimmy across the street are way better in every way, I guess this is just a lesson learned. Next time I will buy some polish and paint my own toes for $6 bucks lol. This is the worst pedicure I've had! Disappointing my, daughter and I went for a mother's day treat. I was ignored while the nail person was busy playing with kids and passing out candy. One nail was only half painted forced to call her back to complete. Nail polish all over my toes.
