Non inclusive group that's certifying unready divers as dive masters and assistant instructors (very much "you pay, you get the cert" environment). While we initially enjoyed learning from & diving with this crew, the hatefulness towards LQBTQ community that many of our foster kids are a part of and repeatedly watching them certify folks as dive leaders who were iffy on being capable divers themselves drove us away. Hate losing the connection to local dive community, but having our kids exposed to the off handed, hateful comments was a no go for us and the combined safety concerns didn't help. read more

Most dive shops are expert salespeople, this place is no exception. However they do excel in information. This family owned business has been everywhere and won't hesitate to talk about all the fun they have, I love that. Training prices are average but equipment is pricey. I don't know if they negotiate on prices, but you can ask them to price match (I don't know if they will do that). They do have a few of the major brands in stock, but I'd call ahead to see if they have what you need in stock. Also, they are the only PADI shop in the area. read more

I've been diving for over 40 years and I just discovered Seeweed. Tina and JR are professionals with plenty of diving experience. They offer top end gear but have reasonably priced equipment as well. When I need gear, I know I can depend on them to get me top end kit that is going to function perfectly when I need it most. These cats are PADI 5 star for a reason. read more
