The staff are friendly and accommodating. I appreciate that they took my car in when it was almost close to closing. But perhaps because it was almost 5pm when I arrived and they close at 6pm, they failed to properly diagnose the problem. I told them the car's battery light was on so are all the warning lights. It practically stalled on me at their driveway. I asked if it was the alternator and they said the battery just needed to be replaced. I left with the battery warning light still on and they said it'll turn off once I drive it for a few miles. It didn't. After 4 days, the light was still on so I called and asked if it's safe to drive to Tampa. I was told it is. It wasn't. The car stalled and stopped running and had to be towed. It was the alternator. I don't know how they could miss diagnosing something so basic. Even ChatGpt was able to diagnose the problem the first time. I took the car to another shop. read more

Personally for me my experience was pleasant. Brian was my sales rep, given my situation he was patient and helpful throughout the whole transaction. Celio (finance guy) was also quick and easy to work with. The vehicle I bought from them was a 2018 Honda Civic Si sedan. The price was listed appropriately for the miles and overall condition that it was in. Since I was purchasing the vehicle from Port Saint Lucie, and I needed it for work Brian my sales rep was able to make accommodations to deliver the vehicle to my address!. All in all it was worth it and Sebring Toyota is worth the drive if you're rolling in from out of town, ask for Brian!. read more

Incompetent, rude service manager named Kallie...this girl could not even tell us the oil type or recommended service interval for an oil change. How can you run a service dept and know nothing about cars !!! We bought a new Highlander and went to the service dept to ask a few questions..we spoke with the service manager Kallie who was both rude and had absolutely no knowledge about cars at all !! Mom went to pay off the car and when they told her how much it was it was way more that the contract was.I asked them why? They told me that she had to contact the dealership that is Sebring Toyota. When I called them they sold her 3 different Warranties that was unnecessary because 1st she had her old vehicle for over 11 years and only had 49000 miles. So why does she needed they extra Warranties. I know why because they have to make that commission. They told her that she needed to wait 90 days to cancel them if she wanted. But I spoke with someone that knows what is going on and they said that was BS that the reason they want her to wait 90 days is because the salesman already got paid and he would loss his commission. Taking advantage of people. She also told me that the person that she felt more comfortable dealing with is no longer with them because they told him, "Why would you care IT'S NOT YOUR MONEY." The salesman that really cares is not with them and we were there Saturday talking with him. It's a Shit Show . But they are going to have to do the right thing because for what I've heard they like to take advantage of the Elderly and in other words get them into unnecessary extended Warranties. She gives me a price and tries to charge almost $2k more from the get than they have advertised on their site. Then she wants me to spend $59k on it but $52k on a new one. She then disappears for a week and her coworker contacts me and says it sold. Then she reappears a week later and says its available. Then I show her numbers from other dealers who are competitive and she disappears again. So much disorganization and jumping through hoops for nothing. Just tell me from the gate if you can't do it or not my god. 5/16/24 Wife went in (alone) for a standard oil change/service. 24 Camry 27k . After the service they recommended wipers ( normal) even though they were only a day old. Told her she needed new tires and an alignment . 27k? I checked depth and they were 8/32. With that much tread they need replacing? I GET THE CAR BACK AND EVERY SINGLE WHEEL HAS WHEEL DAMAGE THAT CAN ONLY BE DONE FROM A IMPACT GUN SOCKET. DAMAGE JUST AROUND THE WHEEL NUTS . NO WASHER FLUID. AND ENGINE FILL CAP WAS NOT EVEN TIGHTENED . I CALL AND TALKED TO THE SERVICE MANAGER (respectfully/calmly) and he advises me that it wasn't his guys. That he's SURE it wasn't. I always inspect the vehicle after a service. And this damage wasn't there from the last service( different dealership) and only people who have touched this car is Toyota! If I could give a zero rating I would. Had a transmission leak on my 2017 Highlander. I took it in on a Friday, they couldn't get it in until Monday and said I could drive it home and bring it back on Monday. Was offered a rental car at half price for the two day job so I declined. Tuesday I got a call that there was a problem because the car came from up north it had rusty bolts that were hard to get out and it was going to take a little longer. On Friday I get a call that they tore a boot on the axle when reinstalling, they ordered a new part but what came in was wrong. They would get a new one on Saturday so the car should be ready on Monday. Monday comes and I am told that the mechanic assigned to the job called in sick, and no one else could be assigned to a job he had started. He did come in later in the day but couldn't get the job completed. Late Tuesday I get a call that it is back together BUT, after testing they discovered a leak at the differential that would need to be checked out. So again no car. At this point I asked for a FREE rental car because they were causing me to be without transportation. I was told if I wanted one I could rent one for one half price, the same as I was offered at the beginning. They continued to work on it and I was told I would probably get it Thursday. Friday they call and say I should have it by noon. Didn't happen! I called asking when I could get it. I an am told they are washing it for pickup, two hours later I call wondering again WHEN. They call back in about one half hour an say it is ready for pickup. I get there and complain to the manager about the service. She said that they found the battery had gone bad so they replaced it at no charge and she was eating the cost of all the extra parts that were needed so I should be satisfied. (even though they had caused the extra parts that were needed and she said the battery may have been their fault for it's failure) I get the car home and remove the nice clean paper mat they use for service and find my carpet mat so dirty with grease and oil that it is BLACK. I sent them pictures of the mat saying if that is how their mechanics operate it is no wonder my car had so many extra problem. As of this writing I still haven't had a response. read more

Just ridiculous! I was on the Sebring Toyota dealership lot today looking at the new cars, Sebring Toyota has added $5,000.00 market adjustment sucker stickers to the new cars. Again absolutely ridiculous. I would never consider doing business with any company that takes such advantage of people, and I would hope that others feel the same way. Do not do business at Sebring Toyota or any of their affiliates! I have never in my life been so cheated, lied to & taken advantage of. I am a 50 year old, college educated woman & I am embarrassed at how I allowed them to treat me. I have purchased numerous vehicles throughout my lifetime & this by far was the most disgusting, unsettling experience ever!  The most disturbing issue I had was that one of my financial documents was forged. It is 100% not my signature. The day after purchasing the vehicle I realized that Zach Thorp, in the financial department, failed to give me all of my paperwork. I emailed him right away & requested that he send me all of the financial documents that I was not given. Once I received them, I noticed right away that I had never seen them before. It was 6 pages that required one signature on the last page. It was just such an obvious forgery. The fact that this dealership is allowing employees to forge signatures on documents without any concern is unsettling. How are you to trust or have any faith in doing business with them? The forgery (and other issues) was brought to the attention of their general manager, Colin Sherrer, and he had zero concern, which leads me to believe this is a common occurrence.  You spend hours negotiating a sale price and your monthly payment amount with the salesman and finance department.  You agree on everything and then are brought back to Zach Thorp's office in the finance/contract department.  Mr. Thorp gives me a monthly rate that is almost $200 more per month than what agreed upon just seconds prior.  Mr. Thorp acted in a demeaning, arrogant manner and said that no one else there knows what they are doing. We negotiate all over again. The price ended up having thousands of dollars more in fees added on. When I asked why the price we agreed on was no where on the contract, I was told the additional thousands were customary.   I made the mistake of putting down a large down payment. The dealership literally ate away my down payment with all the exorbitant fees.    Mr. Thorp kept pressuring me to add the extended warranty coverage.  He became visibly upset that I declined it.  To punish me, he raised the monthly finance interest rate 3 different times right in front of me. I had GAP coverage for $500.  Mr. Thorp punishes me some more and raises that to $1000.   There were other issues as well but these were the most concerning. To top it off, my vehicle did not come with an owner's manual. I let the salesman know the day of purchase. He gives me a manual for a 2017 Hybrid. My car is a 2020 and is not a hybrid! He told me that was all they had. The general manager later tells me he will order me one and mail it to me. He sends me a tracking # for an order for something months prior that was mailed to someone else.When I notified him of this, no response. This is how their general manager behaves. When I sent him all the information and copies of the document that was forged he had absolutely no concern.  He responded in so many words asking me if that was the only document that was forged? Well, I didn't do a forensic signature handwriting analysis but I am sure I never saw those 6 pages and it is 100% not my signature.   I work hard for everything I have and I am so ashamed that I let this dealership take advantage of me. My car would not start on a Wednesday, It's A Toyota product, so I called the local Toyota certified repair shop, Sebring Toyota. The service advisor told me to call their partner towing co Allen Jay, to tow my car to the dealership, and I did. Shortly after, the service advisor called to say the car arrived, and would be worked on Thursday, and he would keep me advised (he NEVER CALLED, WAS off sick 2days) and the repair (joke) started. I called multiple times from Thursday to following Monday, Monday PM the service line mgr. told me it was repaired, they found a blown fuse that caused the problem, the tech would button up the car, and car would be ready for pickup Tuesday morning. I paid , and picked up car Tuesday morning, and drove home. Wednesday morning the car would not start, I called Toyota Sebring service line mgr., and was told to have the car towed in again. I was not about to lose my car for another week, so I checked the fuses, and checked under the hood myself, the + battery cable was loose at the battery post, so I cleaned it up, re-attached the cable, and my car is now REPAIRED. Toyota of Sebring Florida replaced the alternator today in my 2012 RAV4. I sometimes request to have old parts returned to me for my own purposes. The Service Advisor informed me that I would be charged a "core charge" if I want my old part back. What? The Service Manager told me that Toyota corporate charges the dealership $75 per alternator if corporate does not get it back. Then, Toyota remanufactures the used alternators and resells them. The dealership charged me $417 for a remanufactured alternator!!! And then I would have had to pay $75 on top of that to get my own property back. I wonder what a new alternator would have cost me. In my opinion, that business practice is a little shady, and Toyota should be called out. read more

I went to Sebring Toyota in 2022 and had an excellent experience with Will, The sales associate. He was new to Toyota and I believe he sold me his first car. He was on top of things returned my calls and represented Toyota in the most professional way. So much so that when I traded my car in in July of 2023 and wanted to purchase a truck I went back to Will. Unfortunately the experience this time was not so well with Toyota but again Will was the utmost professional. He stayed in contact with me and returned all my text messages or calls promptly. I highly recommend that if you go to Sebring Toyota that you request Will to be the sales representative that you deal with. With the recent recalls due to airbags and the strike at the ports this process was extremely long. I finally got my truck in October with the assistance of Will and an upcoming manager, Josh. I'm sure he'll be very successful in his new position if he continues to work as hard for other customers as he did for me. Josh was most helpful and got things done. I also want to mention Matt Jones in finance, he is very knowledgeable and has no problem explaining the ins and outs of the finance area. Because of these three individuals especially Will I am very happy to be driving my new 2023 Tacoma. With no fault of these individuals, I can just say if you deal with Sebring Toyota there seems to be a lack of communication between departments and higher management. No one's perfect maybe they'll learn from their mistakes and fix this. From experience, I know higher management can learn from the worker bees. It is with regret that I write this review, as I am normally not one to leave negative reviews regarding a local business, but I feel obligated to leave this review to possibly save somebody from a bad deal. I received a flyer in the mail regarding promotions Toyota were currently running. My husband and myself began negotiations on a truck which was on the lot. We spent almost five hours negotiating, and most of the delays were due to what I feel were dishonest tactics and lack of transparency with our attempted deal. When asked the price of the vehicle or bottom line they used phrases like "it'll be around this $$ amount" or "in the mid 30's". I had to ask for straight forward numbers, not sure who makes a deal with round about numbers. In our negotiations the length of our loan increased from 72 months to 85 months without us being informed, I noticed this in the finance office and was told "it doesn't really matter." How can 13 more payments not matter? When asked about our interest rate, again not very forthcoming with this information until much later. These are just a few examples of what we went through, in which this company attempted what I feel was a every dirty trick in the book to try to trick us into a bad deal. I understand many dealerships work this way, but in my experience in car buying, I have never been to an establishment that seemed this dishonest throughout the process. I hope this can help educate somebody before they fall for some of this dealerships dirty tricks. read more
