The staff was just so friendly, and you can tell their passion for all things reading. They have worked at this spot for 20+ years, which goes to show the dedication to this special place. My kids enjoyed the unique books, along with the comfy seating in the back of the store. In addition to a great book selection, they have a variety of gifts and unique puzzles. We ended up buying a few books along with a fun, Japanese, dog-surfing puzzle that both our kids agreed was a really fun one. The prices were very reasonable and the store was just so well curated. Most of the books there are used, so they're sold at a cheaper price but they have new books too. The used books are almost all in really great shape. Outside of the store, they have book carts with $5 and under books. The store is two floors, and the upper floor has a cozy reading area. The shelves in the store are separated by genre and there are also tables with owner-recommended books. In addition to books, there are also plants for sale. The place is so nicely decorated and such a nice environment for reading. To be honest, it doesn't even feel like walking into a store, and it's more like a cozy home. As a plus, I think this place has a cat around sometimes, but I didn't see the cat during my visit.

They don't have a very large selection, most likely due to the size of the store (its is moderately small) but what they do have is fairly new and as a whole great. As for that lack though, they are always willing to order the book in for you, with an average of a 10-15% discount off the book itself. With that said there is always the wait involved in that method. All around however I would say that the store as nice as any other book store around.
