Fast forward 37 years, and here is a second hand store in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen in the same block as our favorite Applewine Restaurant. My mom loves garage sales and flea markets. She insisted on checking it out. Whereas she found a T-shirt, we found tons of dress shirts, a blazer, and great souvenir bags for gifts when we return to California. The prices were slightly higher than at US thrift stores but shirts were all under 10 Euros. We were happy!

They did not sell what we wanted, but the shopkeeper and her boyfriend was very very very nice and spoke excellent English. They told us useful information not only on the bicycle but also on Heidelberg and which really helped a lot to us foreigners. Yesterday I dropped by and said thank you to them. Very happy I also found a delicate purse for my mother. Hopefully by wearing this dual-used bag, she would not forget and lost it again when buying at the market. If you want buy second hand leather bags, this store is a good choice with quiet reasonable price.
