THIS PLACE IS SOOO DIRTYYY! Please be very mindful when choosing secret nails. I got sat right away while she finished another client. The client got up and she immediately moved me over to her station with zero sanitation in between, that should've been my first red flag but I continued on. I got a soak off of my existing set and got a new set. She absolutely ripped my nails apart. My nail beds were tore up but again I decided to continue. All of the tools on her station were very obviously reused with many clients. The day after I got the set I started experiencing discomfort on my middle finger. My entire finger was swollen, and I started to get a dark spot and an obvious infection. I then had to pay $125 to get them to dig the infection out of my finger and give me antibiotics at the ER. I will never return to this nail salon and I hope you find this warning before it happens to you. read more

The overall customer experience was great. My issue is the fact that the gel manicure has lasted less than a week along with the pedicure. Pricing overall was okay. I will say that when you walk in the first thing to greet you is the strong smell of acetone which is a bit much. I told her I'll be back Sunday to get polish because I promised my daughter she could paint my nails for the weekend. 1. She tried to charge me for a clear coat lol (yes, a CLEAR COAT!) 2. My experience was not good. I did not receive a manicure as requested. My nail tech rushed my toe polish change and when I asked her to correct her mistake. She made it worst and got upset when I told her I was not satisfied when asked. This was my second time visiting the salon, but do not intend on returning. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible terrible terrible. Literally the worst service I've gotten for my nails. Polish all over my feet, got cut twice by drill on skin. I had to have two ladies try and fix and still couldn't left with my feet looking like my 2 year old polished them. I've been going here for about two years, I've never experienced a time like today. I was a walk-in who just wanted a fill in. The guy who started my nails helped at least three other people while servicing me. I could tell he was more focused on one customer. Went to go get a pedicure with gel nails. The polish color is uneven in color and does not go all the way to the tips and is on my skin in places. Two friends and I had lunch nearby and stopped in for a pedicure/manicure. They were able to accommodate all three of us at the same time, so that was a plus. I will say the staff was very friendly (other reviews had indicated otherwise), but other than that, I was not very happy with the experience. First, my friends both had decided on manicures. Curiously they received them at the same time as their pedicures. I have never seen that happen before. Because they were seated on either side of me, I lost the use of my side table, and had no place to put my drink and purse. My shoes were taken away (which I didn't even know until it was time to leave). Another odd thing about the manicure (which after seeing what was happening with theirs, I decided to only have the pedicure), they make you twist in your chair so they can do both hands on one side of your pedicure chair. Now that may be fine for some, but if you have any back or neck issues, or just don't particularly like twisting in half, it is very uncomfortable. I felt like this was done this way to get you in and get you out as quickly as possible. I always find it interesting when I have a pedicure at the same time as a friend. Even though we pay for the same treatment, they always seem to be different depending on who your salon person is. My friend got a foot massage, I got none. She got an undercoat and topcoat on her polish - I got neither - so I truly expect this polish to chip off quickly. Two of us also ended up with paint on the ends of our toes that we didn't notice until out in the sun. One of the ladies who had a manicure ended up removing the polish when she got home as it had already chipped. Again, she wasn't the lucky one and didn't get a top coat on her nails or her toes either. With so many nail salons to choose from, it won't be a difficult decision to not return to this one. it's unfortunate as there aren't a lot in this area that get good reviews, so they could have a following, but it seems like most of the reviews agree this isn't the best spot to stop. read more

I was incredibly happy with my pedicure service. I came here with family who are regular customers at this salon. My first impression was that it is remarkably clean inside. There are really pretty hanging lights and a calm mint color on the walls. The wait was only about 8 minutes or so and the technician took very good care of my feet! Ok.. The last time that I went to Secret Nails it was brand new and it was ultra amazing. That was about 3 years ago. Apparently, allot has happened with them in that time. I should have ran out as soon as I caught a whiff of mustiness once I sat down. This is not my usual spot but because most of my errands were in this vicinity and my needing my feet sandblasted was of utmost importance. Plus, I wanted to get home and take a nap before my son got home from school. I figured what the Hell just get a quick pedi.. They didn't put any scented bath salts in my water. My package came with a beverage which didm't get. I didm't realize it until we were half way into my pedi. Instead of asking for the beverage I decided to downgrade my package so I could get the Hell outta there! I couldn't "relax" because, ONE, there was a fly that wanted to tap dance on everything around me and TWO, I kept noticing so many not so good things about this place. Thank goodness my nail pack was sealed up. But, the rest of the gadgets were old. He used what looked like a Mr. Clean brillo pad to buff my feet!! LMAO! I can't even. My nail tech set a cooking timer before we started.. which i aaas o with. I just had never seen that before. As soon as it went off he started to rush through the rest of my session. Do not go here. Went in for SNS manicure. First off there is no manicure part to this at all. $36 for them to literally dip the nail in the powder and a quick file, not even a hand massage. Second off, they turned out horrible, most likely due to them trying to rush me out of there and putting a clear regular polish top coat on top of SNS. They are smudged the powder is all in the nail bed and under the nail. Overall just not good for the price. Likely the worst pedicure I've ever had. They put water in the bowl way ahead of when I sat down, so it was lukewarm. The tech didn't come to get started for at least 10 minutes so I had to take my feet out since they were cold, this made the woman working on my friend scowl at me for putting wet feet on the footrest. When he did finally make it over to start, I asked for warmer water, he barely heated it up. He asked which service I wanted, I told him which pedi level and gel polish. He used a motor file to get my existing gel polish off, which burned. Feet back in the cold water, he went for the oils and lotions, upon returning and getting back to work he told me the total would be $75. That didn't make sense since I had chosen the $50 pedicure. The rude woman working on my friend interjected and said gel is $25, her tone was extremely condescending. I told her it didn't say that and I've never had that big of an upcharge for gel, it's usually $15 at most. She continued to speak as if I was attempting to con them, so I told her ok fine, I'll downgrade the pedi package because there's no way I'm spending $75 plus tip for a mid level pedicure. She told me he's already got the oils and lotions out, you can't change now, which is absolutely absurd. So feeling trapped since I was already in the most uncomfortable spa chair ever, I decided to get regular polish instead because there's no way gel should cost that much in addition to a service. She immediately started talking with attitude to my tech in their language, and the entire experience after that was god awful. He "massaged" my feet and legs so roughly with the hot stones that I ended up with bruising on my ankles. He moved so fast it felt like he was barely touching me, but still took a long time on each section, so it's not like he was trying to make it a quicker experience, I've never felt something so awkward in a salon. Let me first say that the people who worked here were lovely. However, I was over charged for two basic pedicures with gel polish. I paid over $100 for both BASIC pedicures which were priced at $28 each and then $20 for gel polish. The other salon I have gone to charges $5-10 for gel polish at the MOST depending on how detailed. I was even charged to remove the gel polish that was on my toes before. This should have been included.
