There are no people around - it's all free and self guided. Someone put a lot of time into setting it up for entertainment. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen! Just a mix of historical artifacts and funny signs for your viewing pleasure.

Plenty of historic pieces and buildings on the property, and there seems to be plenty of events going on quite often. Great for kids. The library is spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can plop onto one of the cushioned chairs to bang on your laptop for a while, or sidle onto one of the sofas to lounge with a book. Wi-fi is free with no password required. There are public access computers if you don't have your own. Book selection is limited, as is inevitable in a smaller library, but there is a good diversity of quality titles relative to comparable libraries. Of special interest to visiting fishermen is the fly fishing collection. A book sale fundraiser is held in early June, and when I go I always manage to score some good novels and nonfiction titles for less than a buck each. This libary is just one more reason Grayling punches above its weight in cultural offerings.
