This used to be my favourite lingerie spot in Toronto but since covid they've added some random unnecessary fees that make the entire shopping experience feel pressured and I will no longer be supporting them under these new policies. They were proven completely invalid seeing as I was able to go in store without an appointment and buy what I needed (I had bought a gift card before realizing they completely gutted their customer service experience) but the sales associate was pushing me to pay an "appointment fee" to try on the items that I already know fit because I've spent thousands of dollars at SFYS on the same brand. I will now be forced to just shop bordelle on their website and just pay the shipping because there is no longer any incentive to get my shopping done at SFYS because they gatekeep TRYING ITEMS ON which is a basic integral purpose of in person retail shopping. Good job making yourselves obsolete and excluding your customers from an experience that has always been simple to provide. Asking someone to pay $85 upfront just to try on an item they're clearly about to purchase who has already spent over $2000 in your store is not a business practice I would suggest if you want customer loyalty or basic comfort in your store. It seems like being exclusive and pricing your customers who can actually afford to shop there out of the enjoyable experience of shopping there. Get new management or change your policies. I have been going to SFYS since they were located at Bloor and Spadina. I was a new mom and in a lot of breast pain. The owner spent an hour with me finding the right nursing bra. About 5 years ago, I had breast surgery and went right to SFYS for a new fitting and new bras. Now I go there for sports bras, everyday bras, and fun bras. I have been a loyal and grateful customer for 21 years and do not shop anywhere else. read more

One of the top reasons to shop here is the customer service which is tailored to your needs. Getting expert advice for aging boobs (in my 60s) was exactly what I needed. My bras fit perfectly. The individual who fit me was very patient, not pushy, extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent advice about bras for different occasions. I even learned some additional tricks to use when putting on my bras each day. Price points were very reasonable. I love that the staff take precautions which they make very clear in their communications (and website) prior to arrival. I love my new bras and will shop there again. read more

This store is amazing and I'm blown away by their customer service. I've been going here probably somewhere around 10 years - back to their original location at Yonge and Eglinton and now I shop at their Bathurst and Bloor store. The fitters take time to help you try different things, understand your lifestyle. I was last at the store in January and my experience was outstanding. My body had changed quite a bit due to working out and my tried and true bra (also from SFYS) no longer fit. My fitter was patient and helpful and showed me items I would never have selected on my own. The store followed all COVID safety protocols and I loved having dedicated attention during my appointment. I left with four bras and love them all. Another bonus, the store keeps a record of all your purchases. I wanted a new colour of a bra I purchased in Jan and just reached out to ask about it. Email correspondence was quick and helpful so I was able to easily order a new bra without taking time to go back into the store. If you are looking for a lingerie store that really cares about a proper fit, with excellent selection, this is it! read more

Wow. So even though I've been living with boobs for almost 2/3 of my life, it turns out I've been stuffing them into the wrong size bra for most (if not all) of that time. I discovered SFYS somehow and vowed that I would visit during my next annual trip to Toronto. I'm glad that I was finally able to stop in because it was truly a great experience. I was lucky enough to walk-in and be seen right away because the 11:00 appointment didn't show up. Before going into the store, I did have some anxiety about being seen in a bra in front of a stranger. However, I was at ease right away and didn't give it a second thought while I was there. The people and the space made me comfortable almost immediately. The woman that helped me with my bra fitting explained to me how the whole process would work and was great every step of the way. She took my opinions seriously about fit and style and was extremely helpful with finding exactly what I liked. I didn't feel rushed at all and was able to take my time trying on various styles (with and without the white t-shirt provided). I ended up getting 3 bras- 1 nude, 1 black and 1 fun color. I didn't look at any of the price tags in the fitting room because I owed it to myself to have a nice, stress-free experience and own bras that actually fit. Needless to say, I was in for a bit of a shock at the register, but the experience was definitely worth it. The bras that I bought really do fit, are of high quality and I no longer have quad boobs. Plus I learned how to actually care for them so they will last longer, and this was a huge win. I do wish the prices were a bit more reasonable and they had more selection on the sales floor, but I was still very happy with my visit. I went to SFYS for the first time in 2019, after seeing a notice about a sale. I didn't have an appointment (get an appointment), but they managed to book me a time with a very short wait. The fitter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She took all kinds of time finding the perfect bra, with alternates in several price ranges. I actually bought two perfect bras, and they take _years_ off of my figure when I wear them. The store kept a file with my fitting info., my preferences, and a list of my "runners up" for reference. Boy was I glad to have those details noted down when I finally tried to go bra shopping after the pandemic began. Only one of my bras was available on their website, so I had to guess about an additional purchase--and I made a wrong guess. The friendly SFYS could tell when they compared my order to my file: they sent a little message before sending the order out, helped me make an alternate switch, sent me two little beauties that arrived in a couple of days, and saved me all kinds of time and hassle by helping me get it right. I had a great fitting here. It was efficient, the woman who helped me was knowledgable and very capable, and I ended up with a bra I totally love. I understand how some people complain -- you are shopping on their terms, which can be a bit off-putting. (The much younger woman who checked me in told me not to be on my phone so I would not get distracted. I am 52 and I do not need to be told that! It's a double edge, getting your boobies fitted properly for a bra. On one side your ladies stand at attention, but on the other side, they don't get to rest like they did in your old saggy bras that they're used to. However, if you do decide to get a "proper" bra, I say go get fitted at Secrets From Your Sister, the little shop that fits bras for real women (not big ladies or tiny ladies only.....ALL ladies, and their...uh, ladies). My experience there was great. I felt totally comfortable and had a great confidence boost when I was told I was a whole cup size higher than I thought I was (bragging ensues). "I should have listened to Oprah a long time ago!" was what I thought as I bought the bra. read more

Too bad there isn't a rating less than one star. Ordered two bras, described the bra I wanted as having lace. Salesperson told me it came in black and beige so I ordered both and paid for delivery. Turns out they sent me the wrong bras. When I inquired about returning them, I was handed a list of laundry rules about returns that would make the military seem like day camp. Got a friend to return them and then the nonsense started. Told me they couldn't return the bras to stick as they smelled of smoke. Strange since I don't smoke. I am certain there are buyers in this store wearing deodorant, perfume, etc. which would linger on a bra. I'm willing to bet those bras went straight back into stock!!! Charged me a $25 restocking fee and didn't refund my shipping costs for the wrong bras. Horrible, sanctimonious customer service!!! Found the same bra on Amazon for $15 less, free shipping and no-hassle return. read more

I've been two or three times just out of convenience for the location. Case in point, they sell bras with the underwire pierces into your underarm, or the straps just slip off of the new bra, no matter how much I tighten them. Not inexpensive either. Not recommended read more

This used to be my go-to bra store until I encountered their "customer is always wrong" policy. I had a bra fitting some months back, and after a few days of wearing the bra, I realized the band width was too big. The fitter had increased the band by one size, but was confident this was the right fit, so I trusted her expertise. When it was clear that it wasn't, I didn't try returning the bra since I had already worn it for more than a day, and it obviously couldn't be sold again. The bad fit of the band caused a lot of back pain whenever I wore it, so I was hesitant about ever going back. To try quelling my fears, I emailed SFYS explaining what happened, and asking if I was allowed to return or exchange a bra if this occurred again with a future purchase. Please note: I didn't express any anger or frustration about what happened as it was what it was, and obviously not intentional. But, instead of listening to my concerns and answering my questions, the customer service agent named Erin just gave a knee-jerk response that the fitter "would definitely not put anyone in the incorrect size" and how its unlikely that the store could assess the situation since it had been months ago. A) It's completely absurd that Erin would invalidate my experience and tell me that I'm wrong without ever having witnessed the fitting or seen me wear the product and B) That wasn't even my question! I never once brought up returning or exchanging the bad fitting bra. I just wanted to know how to proceed if this happened with any future purchase. I responded that I'm not comfortable ever returning to an expensive store that tells customers their wrong when it's uncalled for and without evidence. She thanked me for my feedback and wished me "the best success." In what, I have no idea. Future bra fittings? While it was an incredibly disappointing experience, I soon realized there are a handful of other high quality lingerie stores that sell larger bra sizes for far less money. I had just never bothered to look or ask around before. Broad, in the east end, is a good example. Others are Change, Tryst, Addition Elle etc... Every time I visit this store my lovely twins thank me! This is the place to go if your looking for great personalized service and great fitting bras. I have been here a total of four times now, it would be more but the bras can be on the pricey side. Each time I have gone the ladies are friendly, knowledgeable and make sure that you are happy with what your trying on. They have a variety different styles, shapes and sizes- which works for all types of women! When you visit, make sure you tell the fitter what your looking for as there is very limited displays of the bras. I know this can be a con for some ladies but if your direct and honest with what you want, you should be able to see exactly what you want. read more

Where did these boobies come from? They're certainly not mine. They're perky, and huge and... painful. That's right, folks, there's an alien growing inside of me, and said alien believes it's imperative that I my breasts grow along with my stomach. My bras weren't fitting right, and I was fairly certain the teenagers working at Victoria Secret weren't going to be able to help me, so I messaged a mommy friend who even pre-children was naturally, umm, blessed. She texted back straight away, "Secrets From Your Sister!!! Bathurst & Bloor!!!" I checked out their hours and popped in on a Sunday. I didn't have to wait for an appointment and they were very friendly and understanding. They taught me a lot about bras and I bought some maternity ones that will grow with me (hideous) and some slutty ones that still make me feel like a lady (frilly). I went to SFYS on a recommendation by a friend. I figured it couldn't hurt to confirm my bra size and find high quality support for my ladies, such as they are. And they did confirm that I was, in fact, already wearing my correct size. I was hoping they'd tell me my boobs were a cup size larger (like everyone else had reported of their own experiences) but lucky for me (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it), I was right all along. Oh well. I don't hold that against them. I went in on a Tuesday mid-afternoon and there was no wait at all - there were three salespeople ready to help and I was served right away. No appointment needed at the time. But I've been told that if you go without an appointment on a weekend, or during a busier time, you may have up at an hour's waiting time. The salesperson I had was perfectly adequate - she measured me, found lots of different styles in my size, gave me time and space to change and decide whether I liked what she showed me. She was a little underwhelming, however, in enthusiasm and friendliness. But maybe I caught her on a bad day? She did, however, introduce me to some fancy French lingerie that I absolutely fell in love with. (I kind of wish she hadn't, though, because my wallet stung for weeks afterwards!) Anyway, the shop is beautifully laid out and the change rooms are large, complete with your own private mirror, so you never have to leave your change room - the salesperson will come to you, always. All told, unless there is another big sale, I don't think that I will return to SFYS for another bra. Mostly due to the prices, but also because with my size (B cup), I didn't find much of a difference in support in the $100+ bra I purchased there, versus the $30 bras I can find at Jacob or similar stores. I will, however, continue to purchase Soak washing detergent. I got the unscented one, but there are a lot of different fragrances, if you're into that kind of thing. If nothing else, though, get yourself measured. Then decide whether you want to spend the money there or somewhere else. read more

As not only a busty gal, but a busty gal with an unusual size, I have been to many a bra store all over the city. I've had good bras, bad bras, and many bad bra-shopping experiences. All that changed once I found SFYS! I'm a 32FF. As you can imagine, it's a particular size. Even though I've been going there for nigh on 8 years, I've -never- had a bad experience! They've fitted me well both through varying styles (regular, racer-back, strapless) and increasing sizes. Upon entry, they ask if you've been measured recently, and offer to do so even if you have, just to be thorough. You're then paired with a fitter who asks what you're looking for and brings you selections in your size. If you come in on the weekend, you'll need to make an appointment, but it's usually only about an hour in advance. They are expensive, but all the bras I've purchased from SFYS have lasted years. If you're used to buying bras at places like La Senza or Victoria's Secret, I suggest giving this place a shot. It'll blow your boobsicles away. read more

I came in without an appointment on an evening during the week. While it was about a half hour wait to see a fitter, I had read some reviews and expected this without an appointment. All of the stock is kept in the back with just a bit of stock out front. I understand the rationale but it would be nice if they had a bit more out front because I finished browsing what they had well before my fitter was ready. The service with Jaleesa was great. I explained that I'd been fitted previously so she didn't take measurements and just started with a sample bra and went from there. Once we narrowed down the size she brought out about 8 different bras in my size (30C) which was quite a wide selection compared with other shops. She was quick to eliminate bras that weren't perfectly comfortable for me which helped reduce my temptation to consider them. Although I'm fairly familiar with do's and don'ts Jaleesa went through everything and I learned a thing or two that will help keep my bras fitting well! I left with 3 new bras and a bra wash which the woman at the front, Jen, explained in detail how to use. Bonus was that there was a sale on too! The bras are pricey but in my opinion, totally worth it. The ones I bought appear to be very well made and are very comfortable (as bras go). I'm so happy with my purchases so far! Ladies: If you've never had a professional bra fitting done before, go get yourself fitted ASAP. And if you're looking for a place to go in T.O., head straight to Secrets From Your Sister. Calling themselves a "bra fitting boutique" and renowned for their wide range of sizes (AA to L cups, 28 to 46 backs), Secrets recently opened a second shop at Yonge and Eglinton to complement the flagship store at Bloor and Bathurst that I visited this week. Not only was their selection incredibly impressive, but their customer service was impeccable. I've never had a bra fitting before, so Jovana, bra fitter extraordinaire, took me under her wing for the next half hour. The process began with Jovana taking an initial measurement of my bust over my t-shirt. From there she then brought me out a very basic bra to try on and ensure that her measurements were correct. The measurements were right, but my previous idea of my bra size sure wasn't! This wasn't much of a surprise, however, as I've read many times, including on the Secrets website, that many women are not wearing the correct size for their breasts. With my correct size now determined, Jovana began bringing out several bras of all cuts, colours, and fabrics for me to test out. For each bra Jovana instructed me to fasten the bra on the loosest hook for the right fit. This way, when the bra starts to stretch out from wash and wear, I can just wear it on one of the tighter hooks! Jovana checked the fit of each bra to ensure that it wasn't too tight or too loose around my bust and that it was sitting properly on my body. After trying on five bras, I found two that I totally loved -- one that's super practical and one that's a little bit more fun (and Betsey Johnson, woo!). But Jovana wasn't done helping me yet! While I got all covered up again, she gave me a great run-down of storage and cleaning tips for my new bras. Both of mine were molded cups, so I was advised to stack them inside of each other in my drawer or to hang them off of a hook in my closet. As for cleaning, Jovana told me about a fantastic cleaner for hand-washing your lingerie called Soak. It's bio-degradable, phosphate free, and Canadian! This soap is unique in that it has a self agitator that does the scrubbing for you! All you have to do is soak your bras in the solution for 10-15 minutes and they're done! You don't even have to rinse them, although you can if you want to remove the scent. I was very excited to be fitted at SFYS after reading many positive reviews. A young woman took my measurements and noted that one of my girls was one size bigger than the other. No surprise there, I've been like this since the age of 13. I am quite tall and have wide shoulders and upper back. She sized me as a 38DD which was quite shocking as I've always been a 38 B-C depending on my workouts. She took out a variety of bras and the bands were too tight. In the end a very comfortable bra was found and I bought it at $120.00. I suppose I was so fed up with trying on so many that I settled on one that felt comfortable. When I arrived home and tried the bra on with a variety of tops, my partner stated that the cups were too large for my breasts and the bra made me look huge. I wore it once to work and my co-workers also commented. 120 bucks down the drain for a bra only worn once that could not be returned. My fault for falling for the sales pitch after being fed up after trying on so many and simply settling for a bra that didn't work for me. Will not return. read more

Interesting concept of them sizing you up and then finding stuff for you from a secret stash of lingerie tucked away. They choose stuff based on what you're looking for. I liked the idea of it. Expensive but it's really nice stuff. They give you free samples of Soak to clean your lingerie by simply soaking. It'll be interesting to see how that works. Unlike other users' experience, I didn't have a problem with waiting at all or having to make an appointment, and I went on a Saturday afternoon/evening close to Christmas. Maybe I was luckier than most. Service is friendly and very helpful. The associate helping me was trying to find stuff that would fit properly and wasn't just trying to make a sale it seemed. Me a my chesticles have had their ups and downs... literally! A few years ago I decided to have a reduction and knew that eventually everything would settle and my new mystery bra size would be revealed. Danielle P and I decided to bring our bosoms to Sisters for a real fitting and let the expects weigh in. Here is how this place works: On weekends you need an appointment for fitting and on weekdays there is just a wait list. We arrived on a Wednesday and signed up for our fitting. Despite not being able to call ahead to make an appointment, I appreciated that fact that I could leave my cell number with them and they would contact me when I was next. My fitter was great! She listened to what I said and tried looking for styles to suit me. I would recommend keeping an open mind about bra shopping... too often people pass up a great bra over details like too much lace or colour without giving it a try. I would say it's cool to have an idea of what you want but better to try it on to validate your assumptions. I would also say that the selection at Sisters depends on what you are used to. Chances are if you are a 34C and shop at LaSenza, you might not like the lack of selection and be floored by the prices. I like that they carry various sizes and offer professional measuring service. I have a bit of unusual size: 30DD, so I like getting my bras from this place. Their price isn't actually too bad if you give them the exact price range you'd like. I usually ask for bras that are under $100, and the ones that were brought out were about $50-70. This is around the same price as you'd pay for a Victoria's Secret bra, so I don't really have a problem with their pricing. Just be specific about the price range of that's your concern :) The reason I'm giving them only 3 stars is because of their display. As other reviewers already have mentioned, they have so many more models and designs inside the fitting room. It actually took me years (and I really mean years) to realize that they have more things at the back and I hadn't shopped at this place until I found out how it works. Another problem with having so many stock hidden from the customers is that, even if you do get a fitting, they don't show EVERYTHING they have. They'd bring only 3-4 models according to your specification. (I'm sure they can bring out more, but I feel bad having them run in and out of the storage to get me things that I may not like) I'm more of a spontaneous shopper who likes to browse around and buy something that I didn't even had in mind, so shopping here is so hard for me. I probably have bought more lingerie from here only if I can get my eyes around all of their hidden stock. I don't know why they'd do this. I really wish they'd just get over it and: a) upload pics of their every stock on their website/social media b) have everything out on the floor, or c) bring customers a whole sample rack of bras in their size no matter what style/colour. The fitting service here is super good, Kate was very professional and attentive. She helped me find two lovely bras which fit perfectly! After wearing the most uncomfy, ill-fitting bras for the past couple of weeks, I'm really happy with my new bras. Be prepared to fork out a lot of cash, as most of the bras cost around $130. That being said, they are investments and as long as they are looked after correctly (washed regularly by hand) they should (hopefully) last many years. My boobs are happy. read more

I had never had a proper fitting before coming here yesterday. I had been to one of the most popular lingerie stores and every time I went in I was sized differently! First 34B, then 32C then 32D. All were uncomfortable and did not feel right. From my time living in the Annex, I knew you didn't just come to SFYS if you wanted a $30 cotton number, you had to be ready to invest in something that would probably cost $100 plus. So I made my appointment and with the help of Reagan figured out the correct size. She brought be about 10 different bras and fitted them for me. She even took a look at the bra I was currently wearing and evaluated its strengths and weaknesses. She also told me that although 32C was my correct size, if I felt my 34C from other stores felt right, then I should be cool with that because I had to wear it although she felt the band was way too loose. They do fit snug at this place, so if you are used to wearing a bra that is fairly "comfortable" but not supportive, then you're really not going to enjoy being told what size you really are. I'm very averse to 32 because it feels tight and uncomfortable to me but in time I'm sure I will adjust, particularly to the bra I purchased that had very comfortable sides and band. The only downside to this store is you are going to spend A LOT of money. It would be nice if they could carry some brands that are more in the $40-$50 price range. I wanted to leave with two bras but really could only allow myself to buy one. But their stock is excellent quality and you are getting what you pay for. Never putting these in the washing machine! Overall, the fitting was an excellent experience and I am truly happy that I went. Reagan was amazing and helped me out big time. Great experience and I will be back! read more

I could not be more disappointed with my experience at SFYS. I went for a fitting at SFYS, and based on the associate's advice and recommendations, I purchased three bras. When I started wearing two of them, the back straps really rode up. I went back to the store, bras in hand, and spoke with a manager about it. I wasn't expecting it to be a big deal; I figured they would just have me try on the smaller band size and would do the exchange. I was so wrong. I was told that they cannot guarantee how a bra will fit once a customer leaves the store, that it was only my "personal preference" that the back straps not ride up, and that because I had already worn them, the only thing they could do for me was to have their tailor take in the straps. I was shocked that the only solution they offered me was to have the $150 bras that I had JUST been fitted for cut up and re-sewn. I left. I sent an e-mail to the SFYS customer service department (a.k.a. a dude named Sean), explained the situation, and was still hopeful that this could be resolved. He responded that he "thoroughly reviewed all aspects of [my] fitting" and "determined that [I was] not misfit", and that they could not offer me an exchange on the two bras that I had worn. I'm pretty sure that asking the associate who did my fitting if my fitting was accurate does not qualify as a "thorough review", and it was clear by the way he ended the e-mail that it all came down to $ anyway. I think it's a great policy to not re-sell intimate apparel once it's been worn; but, to have the customer who relied on their associate's bad advice take the hit for it? Come on. They did agree to exchange the one bra that I had washed, but hadn't worn - and they re-tagged it for sale... At that time, I asked if there was anyone else besides Sean that was in a position to help me. I was advised that there wasn't, but that I could try e-mailing him again. I did, and got a response saying that "customer service is of the highest importance" to them, they "feel bad" that I am going through "this situation" with them, and that I should keep wearing the bras and allow their "expertise to shine through over time". Such BS. Bottom line: SFYS does not guarantee the fitting service that they provide. When a problem arises with fit, they take absolutely no responsibility for it, and add insult to injury by passing the blame/responsibility on to the customer. Advice for other (potential) customers: (1) Don't shop at SFYS - there are many other bra fitting stores in T.O. that actually care about their customers and the quality of service they provide. (2) If you do shop at SFYS, and have a problem with fit once you leave the store, remember that they do not value honesty (telling them that you wore the bra) or accountability (taking responsibility for their mistakes) - just the bottom line (whether they can re-sell it). read more

Apparently I've never reviewed this amazing place! I heard about this place more than 4 years ago when I was looking for bras to accommodate my ample chest. I had horrible scarring from bras that just didn't fit me though other stores "assured" me they did. I now make my pilgrimage every year. I love the service, the fitting, the selection and the prices. Yes, this place is more expensive than La Senza/Victoria's Secret but these bras last me a long time. I just threw away a bra I had from my first shopping trip (more than 4 years ago) because it was in good condition for a long time and then got demoted to an unsexy house bra for doing chores. I could totally have gotten the straps altered but it didn't look good anymore so bye. I come back every year because I'm in the process of losing weight but I could see these bras lasting a good 2 years with proper care if you are a consistent weight. I save a lot more money buying from here instead of the cheaper, less quality-oriented stores. When I entered to the store one lady of the staff started to explain me how the store works (because she didn't let me see anything without following me) she was very rude I felt she wanted me to come out telling me the bras are $130 dollars and up. Ugh, terrible, terrible experience. Sure, my fitting didn't go over too badly, customer service-wise -- though possibly because it resulted in me purchasing quite a few items from the store over several months. But when I tried to return a bra later on, I got the worst possible treatment imaginable. The woman at the counter was the rudest excuse for a human being I've ever met and acted as though I had personally offended her. Furthermore, she had the sheer nerve to call me a liar for something that didn't remotely pertain to the transaction. The selection? Decent. The customer service? Disgusting. Save yourself an insult and head over to Tryst, Nearly Naked or Beestung, where they actually know a little about respecting not only their customers, but other human beings. There is honestly no point in going anywhere else in Toronto for a bra- especially if you're like me; you're picky, particular, you know exactly what you like and don't like, and you're a relatively unusual size. Secrets carries an astounding variety of bras to suit whatever your tastes- even in sizes you didn't think existed (like a 28" band size for me..) Some reviewers mentioned having to wait for an appointment with a fitter, but I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and was able to be seen immediately. They even give you a plain white t-shirt to try on over prospective bras to test for shape and coverage. Staff are extremely knowledgable and friendly, selection is great, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for a speciality lingerie store (all ten of the bras I tried on where priced at under $100) .. just make sure to pick up a bottle of Soak soap on your way out! read more

My first visit was out of necessity. I was nursing and kept not finding bras that would get along with me. After scoping what maternity stores had to offer, and a couple of dept. stores, one of my most favourite bras ended up being from SFYS. Costly, for me, at $75, but worth having at least one bra that I could wear out to certain functions. Today I was back. Checking out their 50% off buckets of panties. Wanted a second opinion about my actual and current bra size. Again, since companies aren't regulated by any one standard, I was told that realistically, my size would fluctuate. That rib size (determines the number) and cup size (determines the letter part of one's size), are interdependent. That to get the very best fit, in clothing and in bras, it's important to try things on in person. I liked the quality that was there. Material that would last, if you knew to not toss it straight into a machine without a lingerie bag. Also, everything was classy, not skanky. Selection was o.k. Not always abundant, looked like there was often just one of something on display. Service was good. You have to wait to try anything on, and a professional bra fitter would always be around to help you out. Mine was well-dressed, clean, and quite polite, respectful, and not pushy. I was in a hurry and couldn't book an appointment so took a chance and arrived early on Saturday morning. The assistant was really courteous and accommodating and, as it happened, able to do a fitting immediately. In future I would be more organized and book as it was already busy even at that time. I was buying a nursing bra and the assistant asked if a trainee fitter could join us. There was no pressure to agree but I was happy to have a second opinion. The fitting was thorough with about six or seven options to try and time spent adjusting and comparing styles and sizes. I didn't feel pressured towards any one option and both women were knowledgeable about nursing requirements. The service wasn't intrusive and they were respectful of my privacy - which, being heavily pregnant, I particularly appreciated. I was impressed by the variety of styles the store stocks and didn't feel the need to shop around any further. Most of the styles I tried on were priced between $60-75, so very similar to the range in Thyme, where I'd have gone otherwise. When I came to check out the server put a complimentary bottle of bra detergent in my bag as a thank you for allowing the trainee to help with the fitting, which was a very sweet gesture. At this point in pregnancy I had not been enthusiastic about the prospect of bra shopping but the experience at this store turned out to be really positive and supportive. I wish that I had seen THOSE reviews before going to this horrible place. :( TL;DR Extremely rude customer service who's every word is dripping with a "sorry, not sorry. Not my f*cking problem"tone. Now stuck with a $140 bra that doesn't fit and gave me a rash in under 15 min because they sized me wrong. Extremely poor customer service. Rude, and extremely snotty staff. While my fitter was pleasant enough (though standoffish), she fitted me incorrectly, insisted that the bra fit anyways, and pressured me to go with a bra that didn't fit. Can't look at bras yourself, staff bring you bras that they think will work for you. You can't look at their selection yourself. Very dim lighting in fitting rooms. Hard to see if the bra is fitting properly. You will be rushed, so don't count on being able to see if the bra is actually working on you. Short exchange period so if you can't make it in, don't count on them answering the phone to tell them. They say they have an answering machine, I never made it to it. It sounds like they put you on hold forever, or answer and hang up to stop the ringing. You need to make an appointment to do an exchange that they don't tell you about when you buy. If you need to remove the GIANT tags from their bras that are placed so that they can't be worn in many cases while they're on, you can't exchange the bra. I imagine putting a big tag in the middle of a wire bra isn't problematic, but a lace bra with a tag in the middle is impossible to try on to gauge fit. If you run into any problems, don't count of the staff talking to management to see what they can do. Remember, you're below them. Your very presence offends them. And no, there are no alternatives. How dare you breath the same air as them? If this kind of customer service sounds like your jam, and being left with extremely expensive undergarments that you can't wear because they don't fit sounds up your alley, then girl, this place is for you.
