She was incredibly patient, kind, professional, and truly cared about helping my family during a stressful time. The facility is clean, secure, and excellent, but what truly makes this place special is Puna and her husband Chris. Their genuine care for people goes far beyond normal customer service. *Up Date 06/29/2026). They have rat issues. Found rat shit and piss in my unit on top of my stuff and on the floor. I even talked to people that was there that are on the same floor as me and they have the same issue and they even found dead rats in their unit. Check my photos of the rat shit and piss. I email Christian E. (Business Owner) @CustomerCare@securespace.com. I also told him about the rat issue and show him a video. This is the person that replied to this review. He was a total waste of time. Pretty much told me I'm shit out of luck. He just replies to the reviews to act like he cares but really doesn't. I signed up with them for a new customer promotional price of $174 for the first two months then after that it's $348 a month. Well I did the first two months for $174 then the third month for $348 now for the 4th month they jacked the price up to $447. That is crazy for them to do that. Puna was fantastic! She took the time to show us a unit, explained how to access the facility and how everything works for getting in and out, and answered all of our questions. She even let us know about another location within their company that had better pricing, while helping us decide that this location was the better fit because it's closer to us. We also had a very curious 3-year-old with us, and she was so patient and sweet, taking the time to chat with him and entertain all of his little questions. Puna made me feel most comfortable when I walked through the doors. I was really frustrated and irritated when I couldn't get things done over the phone due to poor customer service skills. I have mixed feelings about this place. Initially, everything was great. We moved our things (furniture, clothes, other items that were too large for the apartment that we were moving into) back in August of 2025. I understood that the first month was half off, and would be upped to $188.00 for a 10 x 10 unit once the first month passed. Again, this was understood and we were fine with that. In September, I got a email stating that the monthly rent would be increasing to $200 something to cover costs. I was annoyed with that because I had chosen them because the base rent was $188, and that was cheaper than most places in our area at the time. Again, we were understanding because the facility was clean and seemed well maintained when we had moved in and we had a great experience with Puna, one of the assistant managers there. Back in April of this year, we noticed that there was a strong smell of urine on the 3rd floor where our unit was located. Sure enough, when we got into our unit, there was rat feces and urine all over our 3 mattresses, our couch, and the tv we had stored there had been knocked over. The rats had also gotten into the bags we were using to store our nicer clothing items . We decided to move our things out and into another facility closer to our apartment, which is in town. We had the entire unit moved out by May 3rd, which is a Sunday, so there was no one on site to speak with. I called to let them know, no one answered until May 5th. I had left the lock in the unit because I wanted to be able to show them the state of the unit following the rat invasion they had there. I was notified by Shae that they don't consider it moved out unless the lock is off, so I explained the situation and also let her know that us getting down there is difficult since we live in town now and by the time we get off of work, their office is closed for the day. Shae seemed to be understanding and apologetic over the phone, understood that we were paying additional for the insurace they offer, and let me know that they would have to file a claim for the items that were damaged and had to be dumped. It's now June and I still haven't heard back from them regarding the status of the claim or if it was even filed. According to Shae, a tracking number would be sent via email. It never came. I tried calling, but no one answers and it's always redirected to the mainland call center. They cannot help because claims need to be filed by the facility you rent from, and any issues are resloved by the facility managers. Which makes no sense at all. When I finally got an email response from Puna, it was essentially to tell me that the unit wouldn't be considered moved out until the lock was removed and that rent would still be charged. No updates about the furniture we lost or whether the claim was even filed. When I had spoken to Shae, she said they would handle the cleaning of the unit due to the pests. Puna's email had mentioned that we needed to clean the unit out. I would call them unprofessional, but at this point, it seems like an intentional money grab. They are continuing to bill for the rent, but making no moves to get in contact or to file the claim. It is beyond frustrating because our work schedule conflicts with the time that their office is open, so I can't even get down there in time to speak to someone in person and they refuse to answer the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone just because of the experience we're having with them. read more

Used a lot of these things in the past over many years and different places even a different countries but this one stands above and beyond anything I've ever helped with before the space was inexpensive. I have a garage type space it was about $300 less than other places it's brand new facility their air-conditioned on the inside of the garage facilities that are all located on the outer barrier. They have a great security system. The manager there is the top-notch kind of guy that you expect to be working at a place like that. He's a kind of guy you want to have the air the ones usually wind up with. Perfect reviews on these folks in fact I'm going onto his own company website and writing a note about him. Whatever you guys do Do Not Rent A Storage Unit from this place! Yes the price sounds good at first with the move in discount! We been renting a 5'x10' unit roughly about 2 years, and the rent for our sized unit went up 3 times less than a 2 year span! Price started roughly around $140-$150 now we're paying $290 for a 5'x10' unit which is ridiculous! So I would advise everyone to look elsewhere for a storage unit!!! read more

We had a good customer service from Puna. She explained everything when we want it a 10 x 10 space. Plus the value of getting a bigger place is more affordable than getting a smaller one. We don't need it that long but I would recommend it to my friends and family. read more

Horrible. My husband and I went to our storage unit to find rat droppings all over our belongings. There was no heads up or anything. What do we do with our stuff now? It's covered in rat droppings and who knows what else. We trusted this company to keep our belongings safe. This is unacceptable and very upsetting. read more

Ben showed us the storage unit and sizes that was available. This was very helpful in determining the size we needed. The introductory rate being half off for the first 2 months was a plus. 10' x 8' rent for this size storage was priced in our budget. This was the selling point along with being climate controlled, access availability, security, and having Excellent service provided by Ben. read more
