I asked Frank (who used to work in Merino Wool industry) for his suggestion on two darkest beers in the store, they tasted great and very affordable too. 2 bottles around USD3 only ! (I drank them later that evening, not 08:00AM as my breakfast !). When I return next year for another organic food show in Nuremburg, this is my one of Must-Dos.

The beer with the longest travel is from Japan (according to the owner) The beers are from small breweries, so no Miller, Budweiser, Krombacher or Veltins but a lot of unknown beers to taste. The owner knows all about his beers and is helpful with finding your taste. Special service: there is a special "Beer tasting" once a week where you can walk in without reservation, try up to 3 different beers and learn something about their origin & story. The first thing I noticed inside was the friendly dog who is always in the store. I loved petting him and seeing his cute little face. The owner is also friendly and very knowledgeable. They don't have a huge bourbon selection but that's pretty common for Germany. However, they had Willett and a few other nice choices. The prices are reasonable and the owner does have some airplane bottles available for tasting so that you can see what you're getting before you make a purchase. He also has whiskey accessories so you can get glasses, decanters, rocks, etc., I definitely recommend this store for your liquor needs!
