Definitely not your average hotel with a pool and a private bathroom, but I found it to be the most unique place we stayed on a month long road trip! Lupe was very nice and accommodating. The whole town is tiny and friendly. There was so much to look at, lupe has done an amazing job at keeping it looking authentic to its time! I met some other really cool travelers at the bar across the street and on the patio out front of the inn where everyone congregates in the evening. And I got so much more space for my money than hotels offer, since there were 3 of us she gave me the conjoining room with 3 beds and she didn't charge any extra for our puppy!!!! What a win! I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever traveling through again. read more

What a cool place. If you're driving into Colorado from the northeast, as we were, this is perfect place to crash overnight. We were never able to meet the owner, Lupe, but she took care of everything over the phone and was incredibly accommodating. If you're driving by and want to experience something really different than the usual hotel, stop by Sedgwick CO, small old town with a very unique bed and breakfast. The building is old and full of stories which, if you have time, the owner will tell you all about. We had a room facing south, broken window held in place by some plastic material, a sink in the room, (full bathrooms on the same floor, NOT in the bedroom) but the feel of that spot is indescribable. There's something there and despite the fact that the mattress need to be replaced, we had a great night, the moon was shining on us as we slept with the window open. Definitely a different experience. read more
