I recently took a heated yoga class when I was visiting from Phoenix and found Nicole's T's class to be absolutely amazing!! Nicole is such an intuitive teacher with so many years of experience. I love that she offered many different options for all levels. It really catered to everybody in the room. Nicole was so supportive during the entire class and brings amazing and uplifting energy. The class was fantastic, perfect balance for me of flow, strength, stretch, and balance. The instructor took the time to provide cold lavender wash cloths for the forehead during savasana. Life-Changing Sedona Hot Yoga Studio. I didn't just find this yoga studio- I moved to Sedona for it. That's how transformational this space is. Every class is a journey. Beyond the practice itself, the studio's energy is deeply nurturing. The community vibrates with warmth and connection. This is where locals go. The 8:30am Regular Flow hot vinyasa class is medicinal. The space is kept noticeably clean and intentionally fragrance free. Silence lovingly births and seals each practice. Such an awesome place! My fiancé and I were visiting the area and caught a rainy and cold day. I wanted to take a hot yoga class but instead took a stretching session and couldn't be happier. The session focused on connecting tissue and isolated parts of the body. It was intense, hard, and freeing. It really delivers an amazing experience! So I'm not one to know anything about yoga. My friend was going to take me to hot yoga class we drove from phoenix. This class I took was more of a meditative yoga. The instructor was like being in a counseling session. She explained the opening of the body she was half biologist. All I know is I wish I could find someone like that here. She over came many barriers at this time I think we have a few. I would drive up their once a week just for class. Such a special place and special person. I dropped in for a regular flow class (heated) and it was amazing! I haven't had a full body workout like that in a long time, and it felt so good! I've done bikram before, but never other types of hot yoga. This class was really fun, with the music and the great energy of the instructor, plus all the benefits of dripping with sweat even before the class is finished. :) read more

I have been to a few yoga classes in Cottonwood and found that the hot yoga classes were average to okay, depending on the teachers. This morning I went to the hot yoga class at the Sedona studio and it was terrible. The music was so loud, the teacher was talking even louder. It was like doing a workout in a night club. I got a headache. After the class, I complained but the teacher didn't care. She asked me I needed to find another class. I feel I was treated with condescendance. If you want a workout in front of a mirror with loud music, that studio is for you. If you are looking to progress in your yoga practice beyond a hot yoga serie, get hands-on adjustments, and work on your alignment under the guidance of a teacher who teaches (and not just announces poses), this place will not suit you. read more

Love this place! All the teachers I've attended class with were amazing and authentic. The temperature is on point to get my detox sweat on. I prefer not to be touched while I'm practicing. I've been doing yoga since childhood and don't require adjustments. I thoroughly enjoyed the music, the locker rooms, and the central location is wonderful. I love both the Cottonwood and Sedona studios!! All the teachers are excellent; classes are always the perfect blend of invigorating and relaxing. Showers and changing rooms are always pristine. Jennifer's class is one of the best classes I have taken. There are two locations, one in Sedona and one in Cottonwood. The location in Cottonwood has a healthy "fast food" restaurant that is also a drive through - and it is certainly worth hitting up. There is a quinoa wrap that is amazzzzing. If you're looking for a good workout you'll definitely get it but if you're also looking for a studio to focus your meditation in movement you will be able to easily find it here. read more

We stayed a few days in Sedona as part of our tour of the southwest. I took in a Yoga class while the rest of the family went to the spa. The instructor was welcoming and the studio was perfect. I also learned new techniques as the instructor was excellent at describing the form. One of the best 75 minute power classes ever! read more

I felt right at home at this studio! Mostly welcoming to visitors and tourists (I did get yelled at by a local for not having my mat exactly in the lines). I can look past that as the classes and instructors were excellent. I tried Jennifer's flow class, a slow flow class and a kundalini class. All were engaging, challenging and completely different. The studio is large and well-maintained with plenty of props to borrow. Just an FYI for visitors, the studio seems to fill to capacity and the heated classes are HOT. I practice in heated studios at home, but I found the 1.5 hour heated flow to be quite challenging. Drink plenty of water before class. read more

Maybe it's Sedona, but this hot yoga studio is just as amazing as my Airbnb host in Tucson said. I rushed in, changed, and found a spot for all my things on their huge wall of cubbies. I was surprised this studio was as large as it is. The practice is the traditional poses but with a flow. The practice space is huge, but it wasn't packed the evening I was there. I was in the front, which actually posed a slight problem: the lights are glaring. The lights are turned on during the flow and then turned off during the break. There are 4 sections, all of which are rather challenging. read more

Not a worthwhile class for the price. Decent average class instructors but definitely did but impress me.The heat are small cheap heaters and they claimed prior to the class that there are diffusers in the room but this consisted of someone spraying water with a spray bottle around the classroom. Needless to say I would not go back when I visit Sedona again next year. read more

I took a great yoga class here. I'm still sore. I took the Regular Flow class which the website describes as a combination of balancing poses and Vinyasa poses. I would add to that description poses that dance around being Bikram. We basically did some variation of all the poses in the Bikram series. We didn't do many of them twice which is how they also fit in the balancing and Vinyasa poses. I really liked it. I like Bikram a lot, but I'm no purist and I love flowing the poses together. I love the opportunity to do some more balancing poses. And I love doing this all in a hot room. You're just so flexible in the heat! Also I didn't feel like it was the hottest class I've ever been in, it was hot but not unbearable. The only thing that was slightly unfortunate was the lack of showers on site. I really like the opportunity to rinse off before changing into my non sweaty clothes after a hot yoga class. Overall though, it was great, I'll visit again when I'm back up in Sedona. read more

Visiting Sedona for a few days, I searched high and low for the best place to do yoga while in town. I found Sedona Hot Yoga and was immediately drawn in by the $50 unlimited package and thought I'd give it a try. I ended up going 6 times during my stay so it was absolutely worth it. The classes itself were great. Jennifer is very passionate and has a great voice to listen to while practicing. The room was plenty hot, with little moments of breeze throughout the class. My favorite was the afternoon teacher who used lavender water wash clothes on your face at the end of the class. I like this so much I came home and tried it! I am new to yoga and wanted to try it out at Sedona Hot Yoga while visiting my brother in Sedona. My sister and I were both offered a great deal! 10 visits for 25 dollars. We paid for 10 classes even though we would only be in town for 2. On my second and last visit the lady at the desk said there had been a mistake and we would have to pay and extra 25 dollars. My sister and I were stunned and walked out. We were over charged by ten dollars for our only visit because drop-ins are only 15. Did a drop-in ($15) today while passing through the majestic town of Sedona. I did the 75 minute bikram flow class. Challenging, well instructed, and good music. I think this class can be ok for beginners as you can modify and go at your own pace and look at your neighbors/instructor, however it caters to a more advanced yogi that is a bit more familiarized with terminology and poses/posture. A mix of balance, vinyasa, core. Bring your own mat and towel to avoid rental fees (a few bucks for the towel and mat). And don't forget a nice big water bottle! read more

My favorite yoga studio in Sedona!! I love the regular flow but also the vinyasa flow. They have non heated classes too but I have never been. I really enjoyed my time at this studio. A lot of the times with hot yoga, I have felt the spiritual aspects were missing, but this studio was impressively different by effortlessly combining the two. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I attended a sound meditation here and a timer was used which kept mentally interrupting the space I was in keeping me from going deeper into the meditation. I love the Hot Vinyassa classes with Rachel Grant at the Sedona location. It's a high energy, good sweat workout--but she's also got a spiritual calm vibe. The space feels cleaner than Cottonwood, too. Good community energy. Also, at the end of class Rachel provides lavender ice cold washcloths while in savassana. It's a nice touch. I mainly practice hot yoga in large cities at more corporate studios--so this was a refreshing change. It's definitely worth it to take a drop-in class. read more

I attend this studio fairly regularly and since have improved my health and self esteem and reduced my social anxiety. I love this studio for its variety of fun supportive teachers who have all made me feel worthy of doing yoga. The teachers are all amazingly cool and greatly supportive, which I'm sure if you have attended classes at a whole bunch of places you'll know that is not always the case. Yoga can be intimidating if you are new to practicing, unfit, or socially uncomfortable with a room full of people. Look no further for the place to start your health journey or yoga practice. I had the opportunity to go to the Sunday morning regular flow class with Jennifer this weekend and had a great experience. It was hotter than some other hot yoga classes I've attended, but the heat was welcome! Jennifer guided the class well, reminding those attending not to go beyond their abilities, but offering more challenging postures to those able. The poses were very similar to a vinyasa class I take regularly in Tucson so no surprises there - just the challenge of doing the postures in the heat. There was plenty of space in the class and lots of mirrors. One of my favorite parts of this studio was that the small peek into the outside world includes one of Sedona's beautiful red peaks - this day it was topped with snow. Next time I'm in Northern AZ, I'll be sure to head to this studio! I didn't see any changing rooms or lockers, only cubbies, but the bathroom was plenty big for changing if need be! read more

I was visiting Sedona and took the time to attend my first Kundalini class at Sedona Hot Yoga. Cathleen was a wonderful teacher. She greeted each student and I let her know I was not new to yoga but new to this practice. The gentleman next to me was new too. She gave clear, instruction - keeping the class accessible to all levels - and worked with myself and the other new person during class to be sure we were supported in our in our endeavors w/o feeling singled out.
