I could get convinced that the reviews were trustworthy too. My husband and I were delighted by the quality of the coffee. I must say that i was hoping for a slightly higher "coolness factor" from the cafe interior itself, as there are some really interesting pieces of vintage coffee-making equipment and the barista school within the cafe, even plenty of certificates from numerous barista competitions, including one personal guiness record entry hanging on the wall..... which could all be made into a very hip environment. However, by the end of our stay, I realized these guys are just about making excellent coffee and the rest doesn't matter that much after all... Fair enough!

There is parking in the back of this shop and is accessible before you get to the shop itself. It's a decent sized place with tons of coffee and coffee brewing accessories. They carry a variety of teas, chocolate and other goodies. They have a number of sweet items like cakes and muffins available. Unfortunately my German experience of "looks better than it tastes" has proven right once again and hence, the four stars. I am still looking for a cafe that serves amazing coffee and cake. The coffee here is very good, and I loved it. They can brew you something special from their long list of coffees using multiple brewing methods, if you so desire. The place was packed by the time we left. Staff are friendly and the service is pretty quick. I would come back here for the coffee again. Glad I found this place and would come again when in the area.

A must stop for coffee lovers, they sell all kinds of specialty brands (at a price, obviously). What I really liked was the personal service by the owner himself, he told us about the coffees and different preparation methods. We could also take a smell of the different beans that are kept in large metal canisters - the difference is amazing. Upon reading the descriptions at first I thought they'd be exaggerated, but now that I've tried some of the coffee I can tell you it's worth it. The only downside is that unfortunately they don't take as much effort to find and sell good milk and croissants as they do with their coffee (why ruin a great coffee with a mediocre milk?). Also you cannot really sit outside because it's too noisy due to the road.

After a 20+ mile bike ride on our first day in Innsbruck, we were treated to one of the best dining…read moreexperiences of our life. A cozy table for two by the window with some bubbles in our glasses signaled what was coming. We chose from three set menus with a small customization to accommodate one of us choosing three courses & one choosing four. There was no need to alter the food! What stood out to us, beyond the exquisite presentation & taste, was the thoughtful pacing of our meal. No hurry to get to the next course in order to turn the table. Instead we were encouraged to linger over each wine chosen to complement each course before the next one was served. Even our bathroom breaks were taken into consideration as part of the pacing. What a wonderful start to our time in Austria, Germany & Hungary, well done!

When they returned to the kitchen the waiter came over to get redress: 'why I suddenly didn't want my salad'. When I explained that I didn't order it, he simply stated I did order it and basically told me I was lying, our group explained that I didn't order it, but the waiter walked away mid conversation. The food was fine and like I said the location is magical, but because of this I would never recommend anyone going here.
