I tried Seedz again with some friends and family after not having been there in a couple years. It definitely had a well deserved refresh with the inside and menu which is so so exciting as vegan/vegetarian places are becoming less and less common. I love all the fresh, healthy and raw ingredient options they have. I ordered the original Reuben and it was so good, the sauerkraut sauce was full of flavor. My partner got the Malibu Melt and mentioned it was full of flavor but a little dry and maybe needed some more sauce. It is a small quaint little place, walk up to order and seat yourself. They close at 7 so if you're trying to go for dinner you better get in early! The employees were really nice and even let us try a chocolate chip cookie which was soo good. The Seedz Cafe is an experience everyone should have. Nestled the historic DeMun Community, we absolutely love eating here and walking around the community. I had a delicious vegan burger and their exceptional artisan vegan donuts s, which they daily run out of before Noon. Next door they also have a coffee shop with some of the best coffee I have ever had. The service is always excellent with a family friendly environment, with outdoor seating for nice days. After going to Seedz you will want to make it a regular stop for some of the best vegan food in Missouri! The first time I had the Detox Salad (Mixed Greens, Broccoli, Roasted Cauliflower, Red Cabbage, Walnuts, Cranberries, Shredded Beets, Pepitas and Everything Seasoning tossed in our famous Green Goddess dressing) delivered to work for lunch. It was fabulous. The second time I dined in person with a friend and ordered the Flower Power Bowl (Turmeric rice, roasted sweet potatoes, baby kale, red onions, cherry tomatoes, avocado, cilantro aioli, finished with spicy tofu crumbles and everything spice). I came for a pizza party, but this was just a night marketed by a pro-animal right group. I can not blame the restaurant for this marketing campaign. The menus are placed next to the door as well as a container of water and cups. I really like the simple service of water at the entrance. The counter ordering was quick and efficient. There is a small box next to the cash register for cash tips or you can tip on the machine for credit cards. Because of how the event was marketed- I was only allowed to order pizza for this night. I ordered a Mediterranean pizza plus a Hibiscus Mint Tea. The restaurant is small, but cute. Seating was outside and inside. But to-go orders seems to be very popular. Different groups ordered different pizza, but they all seemed pleased with what they ordered. I wish the "pizza party" was a buffet style so I could try more variety. The Hibiscus Mint Tea was good with a very light mint undertone. I definitely had to advantage of free refill on teas. The Mediterranean pizza was very good- especially for not having cheese. The "cheese was replaced by a cashew cream. The vegetables were fresh especially the arugula sprinkled on the pizza after the cook. Overall- the pizza was great. While I am not happy how the event was advertised- I was impressed by the restaurant and pizza. The depressing part was the price. read more

Sunday brunch well attended at this vegan specialty spot. Order at the counter which gets a bit crowded with the counter facing the entrance and customers trying to get in the door and in line for ordering. I'm not from St Louis, but anytime I visit my in laws we always stop at Seedz cafe, as it's a great plant based restaurant. The offer dishes for both breakfast and lunch, and they have a good variety of offering, as well as rotating specials. This last time I visited I had a tofu Bahn Mi sandwich and my husband had the spicy chicken sandwich. I thought the Bahn Mi was pretty tasty, and my husband liked his sandwich as well although it was a little messy with the sauce. In the past I think I've had some of their breakfast items and enjoyed their tofu scrambled eggs. They also have a variety of vegan pastries available that always look very appetizing. We tried a couple of their vegan donuts last time, match/mango and raspberry/chocolate. The inside isn't the biggest but they do have a few tables and can seat 1 or two larger groups. It does get a little cramped when it's busy. They also offer smoothies, teas and juices which are very good. This is definitely a place where you can eat more on the healthy side. read more

Seedz Cafe is such a charming little spot! The interior is super cute, cozy and welcoming, with the added bonus of outdoor seating if you want to get some Vitamin D. Parking is not hard to find, it is street parking but wasn't too busy when I went for lunch. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with portobello mushroom, and it was delicious. The flavors were amazing, and the mushroom had a great texture. My meal was satisfying without being too heavy. It came with three potato wedges on the side, which felt a little sparse at first, but they were well-seasoned, and actually really filling. Definitely a great spot for a casual lunch or a laid-back weekend brunch. I'll be back to try more from the menu! read more

Love Seedz! My favorite entree is here the LTA sandwich, I always plan to try a different dish but then come back to this one. I also enjoy the tempeh caesar salad. Street parking can be challenging during busy times and the food is a bit pricey but I love coming here as a nice, healthy treat. Service is fast and the restaurant was re-done on the inside and is much nicer than years ago. Sometimes takeout orders can be messed up if they are out of stuff (I ordered a LTA online and I guess they were out of avocado so just gave me a tomato and lettuce sandwich without my knowledge, was very disappointed when I got home, didn't offer me any correction when I let them know) so maybe try calling to order instead? read more

Met some friends for brunch on Sunday. Was able to get the large table that seats six. I ordered the Eggs Benefits (Benedict) and my husband ordered the Cali Bowl. Food was good taste and texture. However, my dish was very dry and needed more sauce or something. Neither of us was a fan of the tofu eggs. Breakfast potatoes were yummy! Fast service. It's been many months since I've been to Seedz Cafe..and I still think about it! My first time to St. Louis, first time to Missouri. I like to be able to visit at least one all vegan restaurant wherever I travel. My non vegan friend was open to going. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and it was so good! My friend ordered a tofu curry and rice dish. He enjoyed the tofu and rice, the curry not so much. I took the curry home for a snack later. I had bought some microwavable rice. Later while he was visiting his family, I heated up the leftover curry with store bought rice. The curry was so good! Not sure if I will ever be back to St. Louis, but if I find myself there, you can be sure I will be returning to Seedz Cafe! read more

It's hard to find vegetarian breakfast in STL that's not super basic so I was excited to try Seedz. It's a small place with a row of tables but even so, my partner and I were able to find a table quickly. I would NOT recommend for a group of people - 2-4 max. Cute place nonetheless and staff was quite welcoming. It's an order at the counter situation, get a number and food is brought to you table. Food came out in the perfect amount of time. I got the "eggs benefit" which was yummy, it used tempeh bacon. I was a little sad that the tempeh did not seem house-made, I'm sure it was Lightlife brand. The biscuit was good though a little dry. I tried my partner's gravy that came with his dish and it was very good. I was not really into the potatoes because they were a little plain and not crispy. We got french toast for dessert and that was very good. It was actually a lot of food, we ordered more than we usually do thinking it would not be filling but it was PLENTY! Good portion sizes. All the food was beautifully plated and made for some great food pics. Went for lunch today with my sister and dad. It's a charming vegan cafe and the service was great! It was quiet when we came at 11:30 but things really picked up as we ate. It's on the small side and tables are fairly close together. I ordered the tempeh Reuben. Others got the veggie burger and one of the bowls. The Rueben was solid. Very flavorful. I loved the punch of mustard. I couldn't really taste any cheese flavor but I'm from Wisconsin so vegan cheese will always be... subpar for me. That being said I'd definitely recommend the sandwich. It's a 17$ sandwich and comes with a side salad or fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the dressing on the salad- heavy on the tahini for me. However my dad loved it. If my kid will eat this then you know it doesn't just taste like 'rabbit food'. If you are on a gluten free diet don't assume a dish is gf. Some things used to prepare your meal might contain gluten. The restaurant has limited seating inside and a few small bistro tables outside. I did witness several pick up orders. Not going five starts only because I've eaten at other vegan restaurants that were truly delicious. However I would eat here again when in STL. Lots of love for Seedz! I stopped here in between meetings and it was such a great pick me up. I feel as if I underestimate places that make juice, as I feel like it's going to be super sweet- and I'm not a huge sweets person. I could not be more wrong! First off, it's located in a cute brick building on Demun, which is a great neighborhood in itself. It's a chill vibe and serves vegan options. I'm not vegan, but if I was I would feel like this place would be my absolute go to, as it is difficult for people who are vegan to find choices. I went to Seedz for the first time this week. We shared the Rueben and the bulgogi bowl. The Rueben was amazing, I'd order that again and again. Of course it could be even better with melted vegan cheese but even without it was delicious. The bulgogi bowl was disappointing. It really was just a tofu and rice bowl. However, I would say this place not only lives up to making incredible vegan food, but it is better than most I have been to. Everything we ordered had great taste.
