    Valentines FEB2026

Since Valentine's Day is around the corner I was not surprised that this tiny store would be busy. The ladies love chocolate so what better way to show your love with a box of sweet treats. I was comparing prices from last year and I can surely agree that everything is costing more these days. I picked out my lady's favorite Nuts n' Chews box and it's already pre-wrapped for the special day.

I needed to get some nicely packaged and good quality candy to gift to family for the holidays, so I came here to buy some. Store was very clean and organized. Service was excellent. I also got a sample to try.

I purchased See's lollipop holders that said I do for the children that will be attending my daughter's wedding. When my daughter saw them, she asked me why I didn't purchase them for the adults too? When I think about lollipops, I think about children. I didn't think that adults would also want a See's lollipop other than my daughter and I. She and I love their cinnamon lollipops. I was happy to find out that this location had the "I do" lollipop holders in stock. I informed Sandra that I would get to their store within an hour. When I arrived, they had already placed butterscotch lollipops within them. It was very sweet of them to do that for me. Sandra and Kelly were very helpful in replacing the butterscotch lollipops with chocolate lollipops. It was a definite pleasure doing business with them. Sandra and Kelly were very friendly, patient and understanding. I would highly recommend this See's location.

On a Sunday afternoon in February, I came to look at their candy. I was nicely greeted by the staff. Then I noticed new mint scatchmillow for St. Patrick's day advertisement and I chatted with the see's lady about it. They had all sorts of candy to look in the glass counter. Pecan bud was calling me and I bought one piece. She gave me a several pieces of sample candy. They give out better samples than In Arcadia mall.

I love See's Candies. Their chocolates are clean, smooth, flavorful, and not too sweet. This was my first time in an actual See's store. I usually spot little kiosks in the mall that sell these chocolates. I appreciate that as soon as we walked in an employee brought us over free samples. She also gave us more samples when I was unsure which chocolate pieces I wanted to box. The employees here were very sweet and extremely helpful. She wrapped my goodies neatly and also threw in a bunch of coupons for my next visit. Quality chocolates that aren't overly sweet. I'm definitely a fan.

The hours on this listing are incorrect. They open from 10 to 6pm. We got here by 7pm which should be open until 8pm. The candies are pretty good usually if we can get a hold of them. Also, the times don't work well for folks who come to travel to calif to buy the candies.

I guess this is the spot for coffee and pastries in Pasadena. It was a cute shop with a millennial-friendly aesthetic. Brick walls, exposed ceiling, and lots of hanging lights. Case full of beautiful pastries, house chocolates and merchandise for sale. The line moved quickly enough, and service was friendly and reasonably fast. A table opened up for us when we needed it, and we sat and enjoyed our coffee and pastry. I got a salted honey latte, which was delicious. I'm not a habitual coffee drinker, and this felt like a special indulgent little treat. I'm not a pastry person either, but the kougin amann was fantastic, rich and buttery and shatteringly crispy. I also got a chocolate croissant to go for my husband, who said it was really good. We sat for maybe half an hour, and when we left, someone was there to take our spot, and we had to squeeze past the line that was coming through the door. I don't like coffee and sweets enough to do all that on a regular basis, but I enjoyed my visit to Artisanal Goods and would recommend it if you want top notch pastries in Pasadena.

I was able to find parking nearby luckily and that was probably the hardest part. However, it was also really hot that day so I came prepared with a big hat because I saw the line wrap around the building. I know there is some seasonal items that sell out really quick to keep an eye out of. The chocolate croissant was great and I'll have to wait to try some of their other items next time which I also hear is amazing. The dining area isn't the biggest popular places. It's probably not the easiest to find a spot to sit and enjoy unless you time it correctly.

The candy apples were hard to resist. However, I saw a sign that said, "New: Dubai Pistachio Truffles," so I had to try one. At $4.99 it was a bit pricey. The crunchy pistachio center was a delightful surprise. I had expected it to be a creamy filling, but this was a nice contrast. I could taste the pistachio and it paired well with the chocolate outer shell. I'm glad I decided to get it.

Their menu is limited but everything I've tried so far has been amazing. 1. Believe it or not, the rainbow cake here is just as phenomenal as the famous paradise cake from Kings Hawaiian in Torrance. That's actually what led me to The Wild Whisk's doorstep - I wanted to find the unique cake someplace closer to home because I refuse to trek all the way out to Torrance again, not when gas prices are what they are now. Anyways, the rainbow cake is an exquisite light chiffon cake with layers of guava, passionfruit, and key lime. The flavors were subtle and in perfect harmony, complemented by the light whipped cream. This is such a unique type of cake that you won't find at most bakeries, so I highly recommend trying it here. 2. I also purchased their ube cake, and it was good but it had a strong coconut flavor - which doesn't usually appeal to me, so I won't be getting this one again. 3. The basque cheesecake was delicious with it's dark caramelized top and rich and creamy center. I love basque cheesecake because I'm not a fan of the usual graham cracker crusts in cheesecake, and I would always forgo that part. With basque cheesecakes, I don't have to! Anyways, all of that to say I've tried alot of different basque cheesecakes and the one here is utter perfection. 4. They also just came out with a seasonal black sesame basque cheesecake, and it was heavenly. It had an enriched nutty flavor and was more subtle in sweetness. 5. Last but not least, the churro cheesecake was delectable with it's deep cinnamon flavor. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh.
