I made a pre-order call for takeout because I had questions about vegetarian options. Typically, alot of curry has fish ingredients in the sauce. Anyways, I was reassured that you can order the dishes without fish sauce. So that made me happy. I ordered the vegetarian rolls which came with 6 pieces. It was too much for my husband and I (which is not a compliant). They were good and filling, coming with a side sauce that was tangy with a bit of spice. My dinner I choose was the panang curry. I ordered it as vegan with tofu and spice level 4 which was kicked up and good. They provided extra chili flakes in the side too which was awesome. Many good vegetables in it, not too much of the cheaper filler ones which is great. Husband ordered the Woon Sen Pad Thai (Dinner). It was a ton of food! He said it was good and ate it all. read more

I'm very thrilled to announce that this restaurant is a vegetarian's dream come true! The menu is really extensive and had so many veggie options that I lost count. I was on cloud nine! But first, we'll get the carnivorous entrees outta the way. My hubby ordered the hot and sour beef soup. It was tasty and the heat wasn't overwhelming. He also had the Pad Mee which was mild. We shared a small order of the veggie rolls. They were light and crispy with just the right amount of veggie filling. Now onto what I was most excited about...the curry! They have a rather enticing selection of curry dishes, ranging from mild to hot, green, red and everything in between. I got the veggie tofu red curry and rice. It was medium heat and very flavorful. The white rice was very nice, fluffy and a little dense. Perfect for sopping up all of the curry goodness. The dinner portions were definitely enough for 2 meals. Also noteable was the bubble tea. I got the mango flavored. I think I may have a new addiction! They have about 9 other flavors to choose from. And the Thai custard with sticky rice. Do yourself a favor and order one or three for dessert. You'll want your own. It doesn't look very appealing, but oh honey! Your tastebuds will thank you! Overall, everything we ordered was excellent! They use fresh, quality ingredients and it shows. A breathe of fresh air in the otherwise kinda boring pizza and fried pub food scene in this neck of the woods. The young fella that waited on us for our to go order was really nice, too. And the interior got a complete overhaul from the previous Golden Sea days. We can't wait to explore more of their menu! read more

Went in on a recent Saturday evening. It wasn't crowded with maybe 12 people there and many empty tables. During dinner, several people came in to get takeout. The menu was very thorough. I specifically wanted fried rice, a favorite from time that I spent in Thailand in the service. My wife ordered the same. We both ordered the seafood friend rice with chicken satay as an appetizer. I was pleased they also had Singha beer available, an excellent "made in Bangkok" beer. Service was a little slow as there was just one young lady (from Thailand) waiting tables, but we were in no hurry and she was very pleasant. Bottom line - all was excellent. A true hidden gem. Actually not sure how many stars to give because, on Saturday night 1/28, we came for dinner. When got in, we were told to just find a table. The four of us grabbed a table and waited. The people behind us said, we may want to decide to stay because they were waiting over 1 hr for their meal. We noticed many patrons were just sitting there w/no food. Turns out the place was not staffed properly and had to call someone in to help. Our dinner companions have been there and did rave about the food, but not sure if we are going to come back after setting what took place. read more

I love this place. The food is really good and is ready fast. Sometimes the lady at the register does not wear a mask and that is disconcerting. We have had several of the dishes there and they are all good. The Basil fried rice is a favorite of mine and my husband really likes the Masaman Curry but he thinks it has too many veggies in it that are cut really big. But other than those small details we are fans of this place. read more

Good food but very high priced. Need more non Spicy choices. Level 1 was still too spicy for me.

It wasn't bad. The curry was a lot of sauce and light on the ingredients but decent flavor. The spring roll looked like they came out of a box in the freezer. My Pad Thai was dry and rather bland. IDK, maybe this is what passes for good Thai in Perry? I'm curious to try it again and order something else before making any final judgement. We're new to town and happy to see some variety as this neighborhood definitely has the pizza and wing department covered. read more

I just left there and I have to say, the bowl of sour and spicy beef soup was one of the best Thai soups I've ever had. I live out in Cleveland, not far from Asia town and we have some of the best restaurants out that way. This place just blew any soup, I've ever had, out of the water. I was a regular customer of Thai Orchid but could not wait to have thai so decided to try. I ordered the fried dumplings , shrimp lemongrass soup, the beef rad na , house special fried rice and green curry seafood combo. The dumplings were bland, the soup was o.k., the rad na noodles were still rolled and a gummy, the fried rice was burnt, and the green curry was edible. Amazing Thai food with a new, family owned restaurant. Seesan just recently opened, and we're a huge fan of the parent's restaurant. We weren't disappointed. Started with the spicy and sour beef soup... excellent tastebud bursting broth with beef and fresh vegetables, then had their noodles curry as my main course... simply outstanding. My wife had mango lovers as her main course and it also had the right balance of flavors! Service was outstanding... Ordered take out, food was piping hot when we picked it up. I got the Rad Na, the sauce was so delicious, beef was flavorful. I really liked the noodles, they were different than expected. They came in 3 big hunks, almost like a rice cake or something. I would give that dish a 5. My husband got the pad see u with shrimp. He said it was a bit bland, he liked mine a lot more. The previous Asian restaurant had good food, but was dirty - everything on the table was sticky, so I waited a while to try this new Thai restaurant. We first went in the fall, and SURPRISE, they had a fall menu...in a Thai restaurant! I tried the pumpkin red curry and found it to be absolutely delicious! It was at the upper edges of my heat/spice tolerance, and was creamy and loaded with Thai textures and flavors. It was a colorful dish and generously portioned. I took half home and enjoyed it again the next day. My husband got one of the stir fried rice dishes, his usual go-to. There are several on the menu. The server was personable and quite willing to assist with descriptions and suggestions. The spice level could be adjusted, they would make kid-friendly food, etc, etc. We've been back, with our "I don't eat THAT" daughter and her husband, their kids, my "I'm craving Thai food!" daughter, and her daughter. Everyone came away happy. The picky daughter shared her Teriyaki dish with her kids, their first Thai food, and my son-in-law found something he liked, and my Thai-happy daughter and granddaughter went crazy with the menu. Today we got takeout from Seesan Thai. We got 3 appetizers, chicken satay, golden sticks and dumplings, all were very good. We also got chicken pad thai and beef rad ma. Also very good. My daughter got a bubble tea which she said was also very good. We can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items. I asked a few questions and got great info. We were really looking forward to eating here because of the positive reviews; however, it was not good. We had the chicken in the garden - and it was just a few crunchy vegetables and about 10 small pieces of chicken - the sauce was supposed to be the thai part - but it tasted really odd. I have made peanut sauce and IF this was supposed to be peanut sauce it missed the mark entirely. I can't even say what this sauce tasted like; it almost had a metallic taste. Finally a great Thai option around here that uses fresh ingredients and seems to make everything themselves! We carried out and got the Chili Chili Duck and Shrimp Pad Thai. Only disappointment is there were only 4 shrimp in the Pad Thai dish. Also enjoyed the chicken satays and crab rangoon...both excellent. The duck was perfect hot and so flavorful! Will definitely go back as there are many dishes I want to try. read more
