I was very happy with the quote given and was kept updated by the lovely Sue, who was always available by email and phone. They went above and beyond in getting the window fitted very quickly for me, as I was struggling to heat my home during winter 2021 due to the large hole created for the window. To do so they fitted me in on a Saturday. A few weeks later my two doors were fitted, again on a Saturday, way ahead of what I was expecting! Three guys in total fitted the window & the 2 doors. They were all very friendly, answered questions & nothing was too much, no mess left was behind either. I was told that if I encounter any issues whatsoever, to call them and they would visit. A few weeks later they arrived to fit the pane. The pane was of good quality and blended well with the existing framework etc. They kept us up to date with what was going on so communication was excellent. We were also surprised at how cheap the pane was. In fact it was below our insurance excess so we didn't even have to claim. It is a shame we had arranged to have some of our windows replaced prior to dealing with Suffolk Doors and Windows as I would happily use the again.

I would give this company no stars if I could. They started…read morebuilding a glass extension for us over a year ago. We have had problem after problem after problem. Including them ordering the wrong coloured frame for the inside. (Which they built regardless and eventually had to be replaced). OVER A YEAR on this still isn't a useable space. We have had someone from hadleigh glass out today to look at the side door which has been fitted so badly there is a huge gap- letting the air straight through. Their communication has been appalling throughout. We have had several other tradespeople to do finishing touches. They have all commented on the poor quality of the finish. Every wall is bowed so badly the carpenter struggled to fit skirting boards. The decorator has also quoted extra because of the poor finish on the plastering. He said it was the worst plastering he has ever seen. At each point of this process things haven't been done when they were promised. The men have just not turned up on several occasions- no explanation given. Or they have turned up with no warning and expected us to be there- like we don't work?! I have no clue how a business in the modern world can attempt to operate like this. I am now wondering how long it will take them to fix the door- and when we'll finally be able to paint and finish. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
