I want to preface the review that I didn't get to dine in this time but ended up taking my pies to go. It's a smaller location so it can get packed but to avoid the crowds you can just take it to go. I ended up trying both a white/red sauce pizza (margherita and funghi). I will say they aren't the cheapest pies around at ~$26 each for a 12 inch pie but the ingredients are really fresh. Even to go, the pie held up pretty well and the crust didn't get soggy. They don't skimp on the toppings either so I did feel satisfied eating the two pies. I enjoyed both and i'm a mushroom gal so thought the funghi would be my favorite but I was pleasantly surprised by the margherita with bufala. Yum! Their menu is simple and there aren't a lot of options for other menu items like appetizers and desserts, but they have a good option of sides you can order.

margherita special ($26) - a SOLID pizza... flavor and texture were both on point and i can see why this is such a hyped place - HOWEVER, rather than the flavor i was more impressed by the dough and its texture; flavor just tastes like a regular margherita slice but i do appreciate that it's not too sour with a bit of fresh sweetness from the tomatoes - i also liked how the cheese was so well and evenly melted and the amount was just right; not too greasy nor heavy - surprisingly SO juicy too; ive never had such a juicy slice of pizza that came straight out of the oven - the texture BLEW ME AWAY; it was the freshest and chewiest dough ive ever eaten - pizza was thin so you won't feel bloated even after 4 slices rating: 4.7/5 - inflated rating mainly because of the dough... it was an impressive work because ive never had ANY pizza as fresh, chewy, thin, juicy, and high quality like this one - the flavor was above average but the margharita just didn't wow me like the fig jam from lindustrie nyc - i saw lot of people order the mushroom pizza or pizza with an egg that looked interesting so id try those next time - since everything is made fresh to order i thought the wait time would be long but the service was so quick; i got my pizza within 10 min - welcoming and friendly service; gave helpful recommendations - small casual dining spot so it's so hard to get a reservation but i was able to snatch one easily as a solo diner! - wouldnt come here for a date though as the decor was very plain; come here not for the vibes or hangs but mainly to try this legendary pizza IG: @nom.noms.only

    Margherita Special

This is my 3rd time here and one of my absolute favorite pizza spots. There's a reason they rank top 2 in the USA... it's honestly well deserved!! The place is small so if you want to do a walk in be prepared to wait, but the wait is honestly so random. One time I got in 25 minutes later and next time 45 minutes. First time, I got takeout and was honestly disappointed. The pizza got cold during the 12 minute walk back to my apartment and it just didn't hit the same because it wasn't fresh. Second time, we did a walk-in on a Sunday and somehow got really lucky. Waited about 20 minutes at a nearby coffee shop because of cancellations. We got the Margherita special and Ruti's pizza, and both were out of this world. Especially the Margherita special... this is hands down my favorite pizza i've tried in LA. I tend to gravitate toward classic flavors and they did everything right with this one. The crust alone... probably the best Neapolitan dough I've had in my life. It's pillowy, soft, slightly chewy, and just has that perfect structure. Only thing to note is their pizzas are VERY floppy. Like... really floppy. So if that's not your thing, you might not love it as much. Ruti's pizza is a white base with soppressata, fresh arugula, and hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo worked really well, super balanced and not overwhelming. We also got the tricolor salad which was a great starter. Very fresh, bright, and tangy from the lemon dressing. It cuts through the heaviness of the pizza perfectly. Third time, we did another walk-in on a Saturday around 2:30 PM and got seated within 30 minutes. At this point I'm convinced I just have good luck with the wait times!! We ordered the mala lamb sausage, diavola, bianca, and tiramisu. My favorite this time was the bianca. It was lighter and acted as a really nice palate cleanser between the heavier pizzas. You can actually taste the lemon in it, which surprisingly I loved on pizza. Only thing is you have to eat it fast because once it cools down, the cheese solidifies pretty quickly. The mala lamb sausage is definitely a crowd favorite, but not my personal favorite.... It leans heavier and the lamb flavor comes through pretty strong. If you like bold flavors you'll probably love it, but I personally prefer something more classic and clean like the margherita or the bianca. The diavola was solid. The soppressata brought the right amount of spice and everything felt really balanced. And the tiramisu... I will always get this if I have room for dessert. It's a good portion size!! The three of us shared it after already eating three pizzas (and still had 3 slices leftover) and we were completely stuffed. I would come back again for the Margherita special and the tiramisu alone.

I liked it. Finally got around to trying this place. Small interior inside with limited seating. Wouldn't go with more than 2 people. Probably better as a to go option. The pizzas are good though. We got the mala lamb sausage and patate. Loved the flavor of the lamb sausage. And I loved getting a bite of the potato and ricotta cheese. The middle of the pizza is quite soggy though. You can't really hold a slice with one hand even if you fold it. So you'll need a fork. Would definitely come back to try more. Service was good. Friendly staff. We went on a Friday night and there was a 30min wait, which wasn't too bad since there's a bar right next to it. Street meter parking up and down the block.

I've wanted to come here for a while. I was in the area for work, and snatched a Resy priority notify reservation that opened up same day. I was a party of 1, and was sat at the pizza bar with a few other parties of 1. It's possible it's easier to get in if you're a single party. It was very cool watching them make the pizzas, especially on the side of the bar without the glass window. Definitely recommend sitting there if it's an option. I got the diavola pizza and it was good. But just good, not to die for.

Decided to finally try this #2 in the US pizza spot! I've always wanted to give this tokyo la style neapolitian spot a try. This is definitely one of the best neapolitian spots in LA and even in OC area. Their dough is fantastic and their pizza tastes very fresh and flavorful. We got the diavola and wow! You can tell the attention to detail here. Order ahead of time online ¡

It was my first time trying Neapolitan Tokyo style pizza here in Los Angeles. I've had pizza in the east coast, and specifically in NY and was impressed by Pizzeria Sei. Everything was top notch from the crust, the cheese, the toppings and the way the bottom char of the crust. It was so delicious, I dream about this pizza! 10/10 recommend I see why its ranked top 2 pizza in the country!

The best Neapolitan pizza in LA! I think they say it's Tokyo style because it's more chewy, but my god, the star for me is the sauce. The tomato sauce mixed with their high quality olive oil and cheese really shines, and the crust is soooo good. Don't be intimidated by the char -- it adds flavor! This is probably my favorite pizza place in LA now, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

    Margherita Pizze with Buffalo Mozzarella
    Tiffany C.

Ordered for pick up on a Thursday at 5pm. They open at 4pm and the place was already packed by the time I got there. They were timely with when the food was ready. We tried it right when I got in the car. The Margarita with Buffalo mozzarella was okay. The tomato sauce made the dough soggy. I'm not sure if the mozzarella had a strong taste since I didn't taste anything different or unique. The Bismarck was delicious! The dough was sturdy and held up with the sauces. The combination of the cheese, truffle oil, prosciutto, basil and egg blended to perfection. Would definitely come back to try other flavors!

Diavola, Margherita, Special Margherita with Bufala
    Megan O.

Ordered takeout on a Friday afternoon, and the pizza was ready quick and fresh. We ordered Margherita, Special Margherita with Bufala, and Diavola. Loved the chewy texture of the dough and the generous amount of cheese and meat! I would recommend Special Margherita over the regular since the buffalo cheese has a richer, creamier taste. The Diavola is great if you're craving a bit of spicy meat, and they really cover the whole top of the pizza with meat.

Want the best pizza you have ever had? Come here. Voted #2 in the US and #9 in the world in 2025 by "Top 50" ratings. I am a Neapolitan pizza snob - this is insanely good pizza - absolutely worth a special trip. "Yea, but is it worth driving in an hour of LA traffic for?". 100%. Had the charcuterie appetizer (ate half before I took the photo). Amazing. Then had 2 Diavolo pizzas. Incredible.

Mala lamb sausage pizza (special menu)
    Kaitline C.

Pizzeria Sei is definitely a must try in west LA for its Tokyo-style pizza with its delicate mochi-like dough which is soft and thin yet has a light crunch on the crust. My first visit was in August'25 where the mala lamb sausage pizza on their special menu blew me away. Flavor, texture, novelty, and presentation were 10/10! Also loved the small interior with the narrow hallway and bar seating to watch your pizza get freshly delivered from the wood fired oven. The vibe :) Had been craving this since, and finally went back this month for the patate pizza - creamy but not too heavy, topped with golden chewy potatoes & ricotta - and the diavola pizza - for that classic tomato base with a spicy kick from the soppressata & chili flakes. Michelin-recommended is highly deserved! Street parking. There is typically an hour-long wait minimum during the lunch rush, so expect to write your name down and wait elsewhere until they text you as there is not much shade when waiting outside! Ordered takeout online and ate at a nearby park for my second visit which went smoothly and tasted just as amazing.

Parking is a little tough. All street parking with meters. Sat at the bar, which ended up being a great spot to watch everything coming out of the kitchen. The place has a clean, minimal feel but still feels warm and welcoming. Ordered the Bismarck and the Diavola, plus an orange San Pellegrino Aranciata. The Bismarck was incredible. The crust had that perfect balance of light, airy, and slightly crisp, and once the egg mixed into everything it just brought the whole pizza together. Simple ingredients but really well executed. The Diavola had a great kick to it. The spice from the salami paired perfectly with the cheese and sauce, and the crust again was outstanding. You can tell a lot of care goes into the dough here. Sitting at the bar made the experience even better, and the staff was friendly and attentive the whole time. Everything came out fresh and hot. Easily one of the better pizza experiences I've had and definitely worth coming back for.

Spicy pomodoro is perfectly al dente and a well-balanced sauce. But, my favorite-- the agnolotti! Wow, melt in your mouth! The flavor profiles of corn, crème fraiche, and old bay were delicious. My only wish -- larger serving of this (smallest pasta serving on the menu). To complete it, banana pudding tiramisu -- delicious too with a firm center and oozy outside. Atala was wonderful and very sweet. Recommendation: come with a group of at least 4 to try more on the menu -- the large plates (branzino and ribeye) looked excellent! Definitely a worthwhile visit.

We came on a Thursday night as a group of four and the place was pretty busy. From everything I've heard, Cento is one of the more popular pasta spots in LA right now, so I was excited to finally try it. We started with the radicchio salad which was delicious. Light, refreshing, and tangy, a great way to start the meal. For pasta, we ordered the Spicy Pomodoro, Sweet Corn Agnolotti, Broccoli Bucatini, and the Cavatelli Finocchio. Honestly, it was hard to pick a favorite because every single one was excellent. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauces were flavorful, and each dish felt unique. My only complaint is that the portions are a little small. I understand they're meant for sharing, but to be honest I probably could have eaten all four by myself. At around $30 per plate, this definitely isn't a cheap meal. One thing that was a little disappointing was that it was my fiancée's birthday and I had noted it on the reservation. We noticed another table receiving what looked like a special birthday dessert, but nothing was mentioned for us. My fiancée didn't want me to ask about it, so we just let it go and ended up getting dessert elsewhere. Not a huge deal, but it was a bit of a letdown. That said, the food itself was absolutely outstanding. If you're a pasta lover, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Strawberry, chocolate, and I'm forgetting the other flavor. A fun take on your classic cannoli. My least favorite was the strawberry shortcake. It had the concept of a cannolis but just didn't hold up well and was more like cheesecake. The chocolate was the best. I did enjoy the toppings on either side of the cannoli for an extra crunch. Rosina - Perfectly balanced cocktail. A little sweet with enough tartness to not make it overpowering. Service was great, the interior of the restaurant was cute and homey, food came out quickly - overall, a very good experience. Not really…read more From the outside, the restaurant looks okay and doesn't particularly stand out, but once you walk inside, it's very cute and nicely decorated. The atmosphere is pleasant. Sitting outside in their back patio was enjoyable, while the indoor dining area is cozy and aesthetically pleasing. Everything looks appealing and well-presented, but unfortunately, much of the food lacked flavor. I ordered the Pappardelle Genovese pasta, and although it looked delicious and had plenty of meat, it was surprisingly bland. I even added sea salt to try to enhance the flavor, but it was still only average. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's not something I would order again. The drinks were fine and looked cute, but nothing particularly memorable. My favorite item was the beet salad. It was delicious and well balanced, with mixed greens, goat cheese, hazelnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette. That was definitely the standout dish of the meal. Overall, the ambiance, decor, and presentation were better than the food itself. While it's a nice place to visit and enjoy the atmosphere, I probably wouldn't return for the food.

I know this place used to be pretty busy and booked but think the hype might've died down? But I love it cause I was able to enjoy dinner with my friends comfortably. We ordered the arugula salad, squash blossoms, bread, prawns in the salsa verde sauce, oxtail meatballs, the oxtail ragu pasta and carbonara pasta. The salad was delicious and the perfect start to the carb overload coming. It was the perfect amount of lemon that it wasn't overpowering. The squash blossoms were delicious! Definitely one of our top three dishes. The bread was airy and simple, but it was delicious. The prawns and the sauce. *Chef's kiss* The meatballs were delicious and definitely something unique and different. Definitely enjoyed that. The oxtail ragu pasta was delicious. The carbonara pasta was a little undercooked and the flavor wasn't there. It just tasted like butter and pasta.. that was probably our least favorite dish. Everything was good and would be back again to try maybe some other pastas or even the pizzas.
