Deceptive Billing, Unnecessary Blood Tests, and Public Humiliation…read more I scheduled my appointment through the clinic's website, which clearly stated the $300 fee included both the medical exam and completion of Form I-693. When I arrived, the receptionist confirmed this. Even the doctor told me--without me even asking--that the $300 covered both the appointment and the documentation. He said a blood test might be an additional charge and necessary to complete my I-693 which I agreed. I had already provided proof of all required vaccinations, and blood test that I got in another clinic and my insurance paid for it, so there was no medical reason to run any tests. Still, they mentioned one specific blood test, but then performed a different one that I did not need. When I returned to receive my results, I was suddenly told I had to pay another $300 to complete the documentation(form I-693) completely contradicting what both the website and staff had previously confirmed. When I questioned it, the receptionist began yelling at me in front of the entire waiting room and refused to finalize my paperwork unless I paid again. It was deeply unprofessional and humiliating. After leaving, I called the clinic to clarify. They told me the website was "wrong," and that the true cost was $300 for the exam and another $300 for the form (I-693) something never disclosed at any point. I requested a detailed, itemized bill showing the charges for both the appointment and filling the form but they refused. All they offered was a basic credit card receipt. When I finally received a billing summary, through email they cc two more people who could see all my bill and personal information, however they didn't disclose the charges and instead just sent me a total of due without specific information, so i had to request a disclosed bill and when I got it,they were charging me for hepatitis b, varicella and MMR titer and i had the vaccines for all these (I gave them my vaccine record including vaccines for these diseases so not blood test was necessary) This clinic is dishonest, lacks transparency, and operates unethically. They performed unnecessary medical procedures, changed prices after the fact, refused to provide proper billing, and publicly humiliated me. I strongly urge others to avoid this place at all costs

She had a friendly smile and answered all my questions about my insurance company. The office was bright and new, looked like it was just renovated. After 10 minutes of waiting my name was called by a tall, Eastern European man with a slight accent. As I entered the the exam room Dr.P introduced himself and asked me what was the purpose of my visit. His approach was warm and caring, didn't seemed rushed. (Unlike my other experiences in other medical offices I am used to going to) Dr.P toke some tests and assured me I had just got a common cold and should feel better soon as long as I take the meds he prescribed me. Overall, my experience with the staff and the Dr. P was amazing. I highly recommend them! I know finding a good knowledgeable Doctor in Borough Park is hard to come by.

I think I finally found a gem of a doctor in my neighborhood…read more I was feeling a bit run down at work and decided that it would be a good idea to get checked out. After a quick Google search, I stumbled upon city care medical and gave them a ring. Person who answered the phone was very friendly and told me that they were open until 8 PM and that I could walk in anytime before that. I got to the office around 6:30PM and after waiting only a few minutes was seen by the doctor. Dr. P introduced himself and immediately I felt very comfortable with him. He was friendly, warm, and had an excellent bedside manner. I was able to explain my symptoms to him and never felt rushed. After our chat, I believe that he gave me the right diagnosis and was able to send a few prescriptions over to my pharmacy as well as give me a few alternative recommendations, which I appreciated a lot. It is now about a week after my visit and I'm feeling much better already. I am very glad that I found Dr. P and his staff. I will be coming to city care medical in the future and have already recommended this office to many of my friends who have an equally great experience here. Thank you guys!

King's Smile Dental with Dr. Fikhman is the first place where I actually felt like... alright, I'm good here. The first thing you notice is the office is just easy to deal with. Whoever's at the front desk is on it -- not robotic, not annoying, just friendly and helpful. Making the appointment was simple, and when I had to change it (more than once, because my schedule is a mess), they didn't give me attitude or make it complicated. They worked with me and got me in, which I really appreciated. Now the important part: Dr. Fikhman. He has that calm, confident vibe that makes you relax a little, and he actually explains what's happening instead of just doing stuff and disappearing. He checks in, makes sure you're comfortable, answers questions, and you can tell he cares about the work being right, not just "done." Also the place feels modern without being all flashy about it. The equipment/tech seems up to date and the whole process felt organized, like they're not winging it. And after everything I had done, the results honestly came out great. If you've had meh dentist experiences and you want someone you can stick with long-term, I'd recommend Dr. Fikhman. This is the first time I've left a dental office and actually felt relieved instead of stressed.

Seems that he does not understand much. Did not ask me what vitamins I am taking. Only asked about medications. I pointed out that I am not taking medication but I take vitamins. He did not care about that. Dear doctor, what if i am overdosing on calcium? Or other vitamins that can be harmful if taken too long and too much? Nop, he does not care. 3. Have any concerns about the condition that you might have? I have a condition that needs to be watched. Well, his response is "Does that bother you, prevents you from breathing?" Excuse me, I did not know that we need to wait for the condition to accelerate to the level where it prevents me from breathing. I thought the point of monitoring your health problems is to prevent those problems from developing further or catch them if they become worse. 3. Got my blood work back. So, if there anything that is wrong with you blood results-something has lower or higher level that needed, his response is "go ask another doctor, maybe he recommends something". Aren't you a doctor and can prescribe me something to stabilize the level??? I am expecting you to tell me that you are recommending me XYZ. On a positive note-he is nice, his medical assistant is nice, he returns your phone calls promptly, and the front desc seems professional. But in the end, I would like a little more attention to my health and respect for my time.
