Select Painting went above and beyond in so many areas for my husband and I. They helped us beginning with color selection - gave us options in how to get the color we truly wanted. Then, they setup weekly calls with us that clarified where our projects progress was at and how long it would be till they would be able to work on it. To top it off, Ethan was clear on who the crew leader would be, what his role would be once he got here, and made sure that my project was taken care. Would hire these guys 10/10 times. read more

**Do not use them.** Horrible customer service. They hired a sub to paint out exterior patio doors. The sub botched the job and paint peeled off immediately. Select Painting did not stand by their work to fix it. They did not charge me but the doors are now ruined and no one will touch the job. When I asked the owner to fix it numerous times he said 'well we've already put so many hours into and I guess if money isn't an issue for you'. He said he would call me back to schedule a time to fix it and that was months ago. read more

They don't deserve a single star. I paid a deposit in April. They didn't call to schedule. I had to contact them. They didn't start the project on time. The bid included power washing, scraping, prepping and painting. The power washing job was a joke!!! The vast majority of the house didn't get cleaned. The painting crew did a HORRIBLE job. Claimed to put 2 coats of paint on in 4 hours. The recoat time on the paint can is.... FOUR HOURS. After claiming to be done with two coats we went out for the "final inspection" they missed an entire fascia board!!!! Not only that they painted right over bubbling and peeling paint. They spent more time attempting to fix their mistakes than actually painting the house! There was absolutely no residue on the ground from scraping or proper prepping. They didn't bother to remove a downspout to paint behind it. I have 1 electrical outlet and 2 lights. Did they tape them off? Of course not!!!! Didn't even get a single coat of new paint in those areas. If you book this company after reading this and seeing these photos you deserve to get burned. Oh and they will not respond. It's been over a week since they disappeared without finishing or repairing my job. read more

Select Painting did our exterior and door project. Taylor was a great communicator and the whole process was so easy and care-free! The crew was professional and on-time. Only issue was that one of our downspouts fell off afterwards, but not a big deal. I would recommend Select Painting highly. read more

We paid nearly $1200 for them to power wash and restain our deck and it looks like something a child halfway colored. This is industry standard to do a half ass job according to project manager Elizabeth. I'd give them a zero if I could! They never did the job I hired them for 4 months ago! AND now he's telling me they're charging me for the paint after I had to hire someone else who came right away and is almost done with the job on the 2nd day (for much less $, too.) VERY disappointed with this company. They let their license to work with old lead-based paints expire, but never bothered to check for lead until a couple weeks ago. He should have done that BEFORE agreeing to paint our old house. Said he'd have to sub-contract it out to someone who doesn't mind working on older homes, but I found someone else which saved me over $2000. Three weeks ago I took in new paint chips to Norburg Paints to make sure they matched as I did the front porch and addition in back myself. They had NOT mixed the paint yet at that time. The week after that he finally checks for lead. I don't feel itis fair or right for him to charge me for the paint now. read more
