I was offered very limited selections of options to choose from for flooring and carpeting to upgrade my house for a rental. I think they must have assumed that I wanted mediocre quality since it's set to be a rental. For carpet, I was given 2 options for colors to choose from. I was initially offered the 30oz carpet but I feared it would not be plush so I wanted to upgrade, so 40oz was the next up. For flooring, I had 3 options for colors to choose from. I choose what was best based on what was presented to me. They took 2 days to install over a period of a week. I guess it's normal for after installation of the flooring that they don't install the toilets back for you? Anywho, after installation, I noticed the carpet felt CHEAP, I wondered if the upgrade was done? I can't imagine what the 30oz version would feel like. The flooring also cheap looking and felt slippery, maybe because it was new. I hope that wears off otherwise it's going to be an issue. Not happy with the results I complained about it to Mike, the properties manager. He was pleasant and we worked out the solution for it. What I learned from the experience was I can't trust the experts/professionals to do the right thing and pick out what I need over emails. They made it easy for me choose by giving me limited options but I should have asked about the quality. I needed to come to the showroom and feel the products out first to know what to expect for such an expensive project.

I am truly delighted with the final results! My house had severe dry rot on half dozen siding boards around the dryer exhaust vent. When providing the initial estimate, he carefully examined the damaged area, listened to my requirements and completely and clearly understood the job that needed to be done. He removed the broken pieces, replaced with new siding, installed new dryer vent hoods and metal shields, and re-caulked the decayed and worn out corner that was also falling apart and needed to be repaired. The painting job was remarkable, matched the existing paint color very exactly, I can't see any difference in the shade or texture at all ! It's a really big improvement and the house looks like new ! Actually I consider this an good investment because it adds value to the property. Also, I should mention that Anthony is a nice guy to chat with about home maintenance in general, he has a lot of helpful information and is just pleasant to interact with. Anthony has the right tools, the right equipment, and most importantly the right combination of knowledge, talent, and experience to tackle this important home improvement project. I really appreciate his work ethic and skill. I found him to be honest, trustworthy, and responsive to my communication by phone and email. I also feel the price I paid was totally fair and reasonable given the quality of the work and attention to detail. Overall, highly recommended!
