You see, for as long as I can remember I've had a secret love for old-fashioned photo booths. There is something romantic that happens when the velvet curtain slides closed. While there is only a curtain between you and the bustling crowd outside you're instantly and briefly in private, sharing a few fleeting moments with your lover or friends while your best improv act jumps up and you become a sillier, sexier, funnier you. Photo booths have a tendency to capture the candid moments between those silly/sexy/funny scenes and have truly captured a moment that would have otherwise disappeared into the ether. Capture[INC]'s updated digital version is just as fun. They incorporate a interchangeable background, bright ring-light and a sleek metal button. The attendant hits the big metal button and as each instant is captured it is displayed on an LCD inside for you to see while it snaps another frame for you. They've also equipped the outside of the booth with an LCD that displays a real-time slide show of that events photos, taken just minutes before. It's a hilarious to check out towards the end of the evening and you can watch the progression of the evening through the photos humor and emotion. Our close friends rented a Pod for their wedding this past weekend and it was a blast. Photo Booth + Open Bar = GOOD TIMES! Some of the older folks didn't know what was happening and it was obvious that a few people didn't realize that they would be part of that live slide show for the rest of the wedding to see. I was referred to them by my best friend who used them for his wedding. Phil was extremely responsive to my phone calls and emails. He answered all of my questions and steered me in the best direction. We threw a "Great Gatsby"/Art Deco themed engagement party/surprise wedding and the Fotoboyz were the best idea and worth every single penny. Misty worked with us to design the print outs and backdrop which came out perfect and totally Gatsby!!! The guys that worked our party, Will and Bobby, brought the life out of our guests and were awesome with getting everyone into the mood throughout the entire night. The guys even took extra pictures with their own camera of our wedding ceremony and candid shots of the guests and venue which they did not have to as it was never even discussed as part of my package. The pictures came out amazing. We even got rained on and the guys were awesome and super cool about everything. We received our copies on a DVD within the same week that we were married. The photos were hysterical as were the videos. Looking back this was the best idea.
