What started as stopping by to try it out, has become a regular meal of the most delicious bacon wrapped dates, chicken croquettes, and patatas bravas or patatas alioli if I'm in a garlicky mood. While parking in the neighborhood can be painful, I know because I have to drive everyday for work, Casa Mendoza is conveniently located a block from the U2/21 Rennweg station, and a couple of blocks from the U3 Maxfeld station it's well worth the walk. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the food is high. I recommend it.

We have tried several Tapas and I would suggest the Gambas with Garlic - it was very tasty (unfortunately, only four pieces are served, which is quite few for the original price). The mushrooms were not that tasty if you are used to good spanish food. Before 6 p.m. you will also get all cocktails for half of the price - so we tried four different and all of them were tasty. I dont know who orders those, as far as I know they are not usually eaten in Spain, at least I had not try them before that night in Nuremberg. They were not good at all, such a weird taste and it was like eating fat plus fat but not the tasty fat. Avoid to spend money on that.
