One or two of the receptionists have learned my name because I show up regularly. They do a decent job maintaining the equipment. Occasionally, one of the leg machines or a treadmill will break, but they're good about fixing it as soon as they can get the part. Unlike the other reviewer I don't have a problem with the locker room (or nude people-gasp!). I think the facility is pretty clean. They remodeled the showers a year ago too. They work great--good water pressure, good temperature, and they provide body wash dispensers on the wall. I've used the therapy pool for family swim with my wife and infant daughter and I really liked it. I've also used the free baby sitting service a couple of times, which worked out ok. The hot tub, lap pool, and sauna are all nice too. I haven't taken any classes there, but they seem popular. They offer spinning as well as aerobic type classes. Healthworks can get crowded at peak times, which could impact your ability to work out, but having been to many gyms over the past 15 years I'd still say it's not bad. Monday night between 4:30-6:30 is probably the busiest time of the week. The intensity of the week nights trails off after that. I usually never have to wait for a treadmill since they have so many. I didn't compare Healthworks to the YMCA or Snap Fitness because I live so close that it was a no brainer. I've heard the Y draws more teenagers. Healthworks has members of all ages and levels of fitness so anyone should feel comfortable there. The only things I miss at Healthworks are sports courts (basketball or racketball), Martial Arts classes, and a straight pull up bar. Check out the Y if those are really important to you.

Two separate bad experiences years apart with physical therapy. Should have known better than to…read morego back. Had to wait months to get in. Then after first appt. Two weeks before next. Then second appt was only one for that week. Need to be seen regularly for any benefits. Then they were trying to bill me my copay twice. Same thing that happened to me previously that took months to straighten out. Cancelled all appts and am able to get in elsewhere in two weeks. Poorly run!
