Practice billing could have filed a form as they are the only practice performing the surgery in a few hundred mile radius but they gave a lame excuse as to why they couldn't be bothered. So a couple thousand more out of my pocket on top of an already expensive procedure. That was the icing on the cake as the surgery was only partially successful. Follow-up care was lacking in that I returned several times over the recovery period and literally got no additional help and was just told to come back next month. Never saw the surgeon again only the PA. 9 months later a follow-up MRI listed my condition changed from severe to moderate so with pain meds I'm still barely functioning and still/back in PT a year afterward.

Making appointments was extremely frustrating, and painful and expensive tests were made for a procedure that didn't happen because they were unwilling to schedule it before my scheduled trip, even though they had 3 months' notice. And if they weren't going to do it, then they shouldn't have made me undergo the preparatory procedure. Front desk people were repeatedly rude and unhelpful. So sorry I ever let them do anything to me. I could have saved a lot of money, frustration, and pain.

Coastal Cardiology is a well oiled machine that has the patient in the middle of everything. Everyone is smiling and saying hello. I spend no time in doctors offices but I will never forget this place. My grandfather was a physician for 65 years and as a child I remember him spending what ever time it took to take care of a patient. At 3 AM he would stay with a family until the funeral home arrived and get paid with a chicken in a pot. God Bless the folks at Coastal Cardiology and that little angel at the front window.

I just received a statement for the period of 7/2024 - 3/2025 and I have a $100 balance from my first "new patient' visit last July. First I had heard of it. First bill I've received. Left a message for a callback to discuss. No callback. Called again and was put on hold with annoying music for at least 5 minutes. Hung up and called back. Same person answered with please hold. I asked if they could call me back. Answer was "I'm with a patient, please hold". I don't think so. Obviously there's a staffing issue. I'm just too old and cranky to sit around listening to bad music. (And I'm still mad about the $100).
